Delicious food!!! This place is solid I had a piece of pepperoni pizza hubby had a Chicken Parm sub and it was so delicious!!! Would recommend. The mozzarella cheese sticks are good but expensive you get 8 for 9.00 lol

I have been to Village Pizza about a dozen times. Only at in once, all the rest take out. If I did this review based on just the taste of the pizza, it would be a 4 star review. The pizza is pretty good, especially for that area. I normally order the Pizza and Garlic Knots. Prices are high. And the size of the pizza has gone down. Their regular large used to be bigger, but price is the same. Disappointing. The pizza is a little greasy, but it still tastes good. Garlic knots are way to greasy. There is literally a pool of grease at the bottom of the garlic knots container. Customer service is somewhat sketchy. There is always a different girl behind the counter. When I go in the employees are always talking, chit chat. And when I go up to the counter I get the feeling like I am interrupting them. It is an odd atmosphere.

Village Pizza is good, but it doesn't rock my world. A NY'er told me of this hidden pizza parlor out in the boonies! The pizza is quite good, and a traditional NY thin, but it just didn't seem to rise to the NY pizza I'm accustomed to.

I've given this place 2 tries thinking the first baffling experience must have been a fluke. I LOVE leaving good reviews but Village Pizza in Stokesdale leaves me no choice but to warn others. Staff (not all) was rude and cared nothing for us for the second time. Gave us a terrible sandwich with hardly any meat and it sat there doe some time and he never asked us how it was (they knew it wasn't any good). Fix these issues guys...there's a thousand other Italian restaurants we could go and each one I've been to is better than this one (food and service). First time we went it took forever AND they tried to charge us twice. Needs new and caring staff.

The place was clean and our server was attentive throughout our visit. They also have a great selection of local and other draft beers, which is always a plus. The first time we visited, we ordered the loaded fries, which I remember being delicious, along with a burger that was just okay. This time we decided to skip the appetizer and go straight for the main event, the pizza. One thing I really liked is that they allow you to split a pizza if you're indecisive between two options, as long as they share the same base. We went with the Zoso and Big Kenny's, and wow! both were great choices. What really stood out to me was the freshness of the ingredients. At many pizza places the toppings like bell peppers, mushrooms, and pineapple are canned, but here everything tasted fresh. The toppings were chopped to the perfect size and distributed evenly, so every bite had great flavor. This place definitely exceeded my expectations this visit. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and I can confidently say I'll be back for their pizza.

We got the Bianca and one of the salami pies and both were excellent. The Bianca is the sleeper pick. No sauce, just fior di latte and big spoonfuls of ricotta with crisped basil and olive oil. Rich without being heavy, and the ricotta stays cool and creamy against the hot cheese. The salami pie was the opposite energy -- wide, spicy slices that render right into the sauce. Crust on both had that leopard-spotted char and real chew. The space is half the appeal. Old mill building with exposed brick, wood ceilings, long communal picnic tables, Italian flags, and a powder-blue Vespa parked by the door. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and they call you up. Casual and loud in a good way -- great for a group. Fair warning: no half-toppings, no substitutions, and everything comes well done. Lean into it. Also worth noting they'll sell you a frozen 12-inch to take home.

The pizza itself was as close to NYC pizza, but it does miss the boat with the distribution of ingredients. We ordered the Livorno pizza. Each slice was a venture, some had sauce, some didn't. You may or may not get sausage. One slice had the golden ticket, sauce, sausage, cheese and basil! The crust was delicious, just like the pizza I ate 5 days ago in NYC. The sauce wasn't as good in comparison, but it was still very good. We may be back again.

We as always ordered a Sicilian Pizza, and I was craving a Turkey Swiss with just Lettuce Tomato Mayo Sub. A simple sub that you can't screw up right? No peppers no onions No pickles No oil No vinegar. No salt or pepper either. So, Door dash delivers my order. My Sicilian Pizza is hot and on the money. so far, I'm happy and looking forward to opining and eating this sub. I got the Sub bag, it had some weight on it thinking oh this is going to be a good day boy. unwrapped the foil, and what do I find? a salad sub! 1 slice of turkey No Swiss No Mayo. But it was Loaded with green pepper banana Peppers Lettuce tomato onion soaked in oil & vinegar. So we called Nostra Pizza II Kernersville NC and told them the situation hoping they would apologize and either make another Sub or, credit the sub for a future order. they got out right bold with me and said take it up with Door dash they will refund me and hung up! QUESTION:? Did the driver with Door dash get out of the car and make my sub? Answer: NO! Did you get paid for the items I ordered? Answer: YES. So why should Door dash Be responsible for the mistakes Made by the restaurant? why should Door dash refund me for something Nostra Pizza Kernersville NC. got paid for ? Door Dash is a taxi cab for items ordered to be delivered to the customer who places the set order. They did their Job. They delivered my items. and they had no idea something was wrong with the Order. Nostra Pizza Kernersville NC Was paid to make and have the set order ready for door dash to Pick up and deliver the set order. How is it door dash refunds me for the item Nostra pizza in Kernersville NC screwed up and got paid for? why is the driver of Door Dash refunding me and losing money for something Nostra Pizza in Kernersville NC GOT PAID FOR ???? The delivery cost with Door dash was less the the cost of the SUB it's self. Plus the advertisements said. Sub--- $14.99 Comes with Home Made Chips and 20 oz soda choice. The soda and chips also did not arrive with set order I'm so sorry to the Door dash Driver who lost money because of an error made not by him But by Nostra Pizza Kernersville NC. Nostra Pizza was an 8 out of 10 until this happened. Now they are at 2 of 10 because of attitude, and Dishonesty .
