The food is ok. Out of 1-10 pizza scale I would give a solid 5.8. It's just really high slices. Dough has no flavor, sauce no flavor. Not gonna be back. The e service was good.

Closest thing to real New York pizza I've found around here--and I'm from NY, so I don't say that lightly. The place is super clean now after a nice remodel. Only one guy was working when we came in, but he crushed it--quick, friendly, and the pizza was amazing. Highly recommend!

It was really good and the toppings covered the pizza. It was a bit more than I had expected to pay, but good overall.

We drove in from Alabama and did not feel like driving anywhere once we got to the hotel. We had our food delivered and it got here fast! The delivery guy was friendly and I appreciated that after a long day. The pizza was hot and delicious! Loved the crust, the cheese was super melty, and the mozzarella sticks hit the spot. Definitely would recommend to any pizza lover in the Greensboro area.

My son and I were craving pizza for dinner! I stumbled upon La Pizzeria on yelp and thought we'd give it a try. We ordered half cheese, half hamburger 12 inch pizza and I ordered a side garden salad. The salad was so fresh and the ranch dressing was delicious. Our pizza was a thinner crust with very little flop and had just the right ratio of sauce and toppings. Service was good and atmosphere was clean and bright. We will definitely give it another visit! read more

Decided tonight was a pizza night and La-Pizzeria did not let me down. I ordered online and set the pickup time for 7:30 and that is exactly when the pizza came out of the oven. The restaurant was pretty cozy inside, everything was clean, and they had a nice setup. The pizza itself was great, maybe could've been cooked a bit longer, some toppings were sliding right off but honestly it was still great. I also don't typically eat crust, but the crust here was super soft. read more

I ordered via Grubhub at 12;30 for a 4:30 delivery. The delivery driver stated that the guy at the restaurant prepared the order at 12:30 not for delivery at 4:30. The food was cold and Grubhub wont refund the entire order. l read more

It's not just their pizza that is great! I have ordered from their catering menu for large events and everything has been delicious. With salad and breadsticks included in the cost of the large entrees, the value is great. The staff is wonderful. They are very friendly and really care about customer satisfaction. read more

I've only had pizza from La Pizzeria, but it's been top-notch every visit. The pizza is some of the very best in the Triad, and I've tried most of the offerings in area. The added bonus is the staff/owners. They are extremely friendly each time I visit and I love the mom-and-pop vibe of the business, which seems to have disappeared in this area over the last decade. While not the most convenient location for me, I'll make the longer drive simply to support their business (and enjoy top tier pizza). read more

This is the best pizza in the Greensboro/High Point area. Real NY style pizza has a softer, thin crust. All of the pizza places we tried in Greensboro have hard, crunchy crusts and spicy sauce. Not this place. Being from Long Island, this is the closest thing to real NY pizza. NY pizza doesn't have extra flavor in the crust. It's just flour and water with a little salt and sugar. The sauce is regular marinara and not spicy. I believe the family that runs this place is from Italy, so they are doing this right. The cannoli are very good too. Excellent pizza and service. I would not change a thing. If you are looking for real pizza this is the only one in the area. read more

Absolutely AMAZING in every way! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and exceptional and the restaurant was so clean. I ordered 2 one topping pizza slices with 5 wings and cheese sticks. Convenient and good priced lunch buffet with friendly people. It's not a big place and shares parking with the other businesses in the little strip. They have a few daily specials, and the buffet includes salad bar, hot pasta, wings, and different pizzas. If you're a regular they'll have your preferred pizza setup once they see you. Maybe the best pizza in the Triad in 2022. Better than Sticks and Stones, better than Cugino Forno, better than Mario's. The owner is a sweetheart. The dough is delicious, his marinara sauce is heavenly, the toppings were fresh and tasty. Pizza made with love. Wow, i had driven by this place for over 16 years and never noticed it. My son told me about this place, his friends recommended to him. So we went, what a nice surprise. A real italian pizza place owned by the nicest italian family you could ever meet. Husband, wife, and daughter, these folks treat you as part of the family. The food is very much ny style, along with fresh Ingredients which makes everything that much better. We shared a whole pizza and felt great and not bogged down from it. They brought out bins of toppings for our group to pass around. Huge open spaces. The guy who taught the class was fun. The pizzas take around 90 seconds to bake so they come out fast! They also have a little seasoning area with a water dispenser available. Alcohol and soda type drinks are all in coolers up front. Canned or bottled so no refills. Doesn't bother me, just something to note. They also have desserts up front like cannolis and cheesecake. It was a little pricy at $37 per person and we had about 10 people. I don't have a desire to do again but it was a fun one-time activity.

By the standards of the latter, it's nothing special. We ordered a medium George's Combo pizza (pepperoni, sausage, beef, green peppers, and mushrooms) and an order of fried mushrooms. Food was read on-time, and it looked good. The pizza was generously topped, and the mushrooms were a nice golden brown. Those mushrooms were addictively good. Dip them in ranch, and you'll have a hard time stopping yourself from eating more than you should. The pizza was more of a mixed bag. The toppings were tasty as was the sauce: robust with just a hint of sweetness. However, the crust was mediocre, and $20-plus seemed steep for a medium pie. I can imagine that George's might be a fun place to watch a game, and it's certainly convenient, but it's far from the best pizza option in town.

They do have a salad bar that is kinda basic, but basic is all you need when you have good pizza.

The meatballs themselves were sliced and warm, sauce was the same I was used to from the pizza, cheese could have used more time to melt, but overall... I was OK. Her sandwich, was not good at all. She did write her own review about it, and I happen to agree. It's generally expected that ordering a chicken parm sandwich at an italian pizzeria is going to be a breaded cutlet. What was given was the shaved chicken that you would normally see if someone orders chicken on a pizza (not my thing, but to each their own). The result was very very dry chicken. The sandwich sat on her plate with two bites taken out of it for the meal duration. No prompt was given for whether we enjoyed our meal. In all, I learned my lesson that day, that this place is good for a fresh pizza. I'll only go that route in the future. The sandwiches were simply not our preference. The chicken parm needs to be rethought, or better explained as shaved chicken.

There are three settings and I used M1, which came out just right. The broth was hot and the noodles had a good texture, not mushy. This is a basic setup. No fresh toppings, no eggs, no extras to dress it up. Some places offer that, but this one keeps it simple. If you go in expecting a full ramen bar you might be disappointed, but if you understand what they're going for, it works. And don't break your noodles. Leave them long so you can slurp them the way you're supposed to. If you watch Korean dramas, you've seen this a hundred times. Slurp the noodles and drink the broth after. I also ordered the Cajun tiger roll, 10 pieces, and that plus the noodles was more than enough food. The roll had tempura shrimp and cucumber inside, topped with spicy crab salad, spicy mayonnaise, and flame-seared salmon. The sushi chef used a handheld torch to sear the salmon right in front of me, and that added a nice finish. Between the noodles and sushi, I was full. This is a good option if you don't want to do the full all-you-can-eat. It's quick, easy, and you still get a good experience without committing to grilling at the table. I'd still recommend this place for groups, but now I'd also tell people not to overlook the bar if you're by yourself or just want something lighter. First and most important for us, they used to be the only place we were aware of in NC to get Gluten Free Crab Cakes which was a major reason we frequented Sammy G's. That has apparently changed and the new Gluten Free menu is basically just the meats menu which is a real shame. It looks like they have made some other small changes to the regular menu as well, none of those were all that concerning but the loss of this GF treat is a real blow for us. If you are a celiac and found reviews about the GF crab cakes, please be aware they appear to be gone now. Additionally, the prices across the menu seem to have gone up by a few dollars. When you consider that Sammy G's was never a cheap place to eat, and given the state of the economy these days, that actually does come out to a noticeable change and makes it harder to justify going. However, with the loss of the old GF options, it's unlikely we'll come back anywhere near as often as we used to.

Service handled everything well, including the mistake with the steak and the soup. Atmosphere is casual tavern style, relaxed and easy for a weekday lunch. Must order: Fratellis salad with sirloin and apple cider vinaigrette (yummy), Brussels sprouts Heads up: Skip the thin cut onion rings and don't expect much from the bisque.
