    Watery Cole slaw.
    Dan H.

Had Fish and chips at this location...oddly the batter was peppery and had cole slaw instead of fries. It was very watery. Service was good, but the place was quite smoky. I think I will try warm springs location next Time.

    We asked for medium rare

We usually go to the location on Gibson which is closest to our house. But we had our 20 year old daughter with us so they didn't let us in. We tried this location instead for the first time, since you don't have to be 21. We were looking forward to wings, fish and chips and burgers. But since it was Saturday they had prime rib which is tough to pass up, being fans of Ellis Island. It was still afternoon, so although prime rib can be hit or miss, we felt it was early enough in the day to get the best cuts. I ordered rare, two others ordered medium rare. They came back to tell me they only had medium rare, and I said that was fine. Unfortunately what they served was well done. I'd rather they tell me they only have medium or well done, then tell me they have medium rare and serve grayish prime rib. I know at the other location they want to know if you're not satisfied with your order so they can make it right. Here when I mentioned it wasn't medium rare, they didn't make any effort to correct it, and I didn't want to make a scene. The fish and chips at Village Pub is very good when done right. Unfortunately here at this location, the batter was not crispy at all and the fish not as fresh as other locations either, and was a little fishy. I mentioned that too, but no offer to change it. The wings were good, burger was good, salad and ice water were all good. Yes we literally all said the ice water was good. But sadly the big ticket items were not done well, and VP remains hit or miss. When it's good it's really good. But when it's not it's a big disappointment.

Interesting place! Off the strip. Very unassuming. There are maybe fourteen other locations with a new one opening soon. A friend invited us to this one. First, let me say, they are 24/7 as is almost everywhere in Vegas. We're night owls and sometimes get to Vegas in the middle of the night. I love that we have a place to go for some food, a drink, and maybe a little gambing. Inside is reminiscent of a 90's English pub with wood paneling, red carpet, and large paintings. There is a room to the right with booths and tables for restaurant dining. There is a large bar to the left that has machines for poker and slot play. Both areas are served by one kitchen. If nothing else brings you back, the food will. A nice variety of menu options. We've eaten here a few times. Everything was very good! Definitely recommend the French Dip or the Potpie. The drinks are well poured as well. If you want to gamble, they have a mix of old and new machines at the bar. You can play poker, keno, or slots. They offer a rewards program that allows you to earn points for games played. We have won and saw others win. Another reason we enjoy stopping here. Last, the service is very good! Maybe even excellent. We sit at the bar, and the bartenders have always been very attentive. Look forward to stopping in again soon!

We've been craving fish and chips and I found this place. Just finished lunch and will definitely be back. I had the fish and chips and husband had chicken fried chicken. He also wanted a fish and chips to go. Actually he wanted a lot of things on the menu but I cut him off and told him we will come back another time. Our waitress was super nice and helpful as was the bus boy. Every thing was delicious. As for ambiance it's a pub. Nothing special but it was clean and comfortable.

Have you ever dreamed of finding a place reminiscent of "Cheers" where everyone knows your name and friendly faces greet you. This is the one folks. This place is my favorite and comforting little local water hole that never disappoints. Having a hankering for delicious meals after a long day, this is always a solid go-to. I've tried just about everything on the menu and let me tell you the chef here is Grade A excellent because it's all great. Even the picky partner is a fan and that deserves an extra star in itself cause he's a tough one to please. Love the staff- the ladies are always kind, friendly and on their game. Raises all around I say! Kudos to management for selecting a team of fine folks to deliver a divine experience.

    Buffalo wrap with steak fries
    Sarah T.

I came here after looking at a banquet hall down the street. My fiancé and I had heard that the food was really good here, especially the ribs for the price they're sold for. My fiancé said last time he tried to order ribs they said they were discontinued, which was strange because it's on their menu. I went in and asked them if they had ribs, and the girl said yes. I ordered a full rack of ribs and subbed the coleslaw and potato salad for steak fries, and then for myself I ordered a buffalo wrap with steak fries. The girl who took the order repeated it back to me to make sure it was correct, and I verified that it was. I waited about 15 minutes for the food to arrive and the guy said he put in a side of ranch for me which I appreciated because I had forgotten to ask. When I got home and we opened the food, and they forgot my fiancés fries, which we were pretty annoyed about. Aside from that, the food was actually very good, and the wrap was way bigger than I expected it to be. We will definitely go back for to-go orders, but I'm checking the food before I leave in the future to make sure I have everything I ordered.

    Breakfast with sweet potato tots.

Tried the Village Pub on East Sunset for breakfast this morning & plan on going there more often! We arrived just after eight am & only a few customers were in the place, so no waiting, sit wherever we like. Wasn't noisy either at that time. Which I like. Carmen was our waitress & besides the bartender was the only employee we saw. Carmen did a wonderful job! Kudos to her! Taking orders, busing tables & taking payments. Came back often, checking on us, refilling our water & asking the Mrs if she wanted another Bloody Mary. By the way, the Mrs said the Bloody Mary was good, but could've used a lime. The meal came out quickly & was great, bacon, eggs, with sweet potato tots for the Mrs & house potatoes for me & sourdough toast for both. Prices are quite reasonable, two meals, two Bloody Mary's & was less than $25.00 including the tip. Two large bars with in counter gaming if that's your choice. There is no smoking In the dining area, but it is allowed in the bar. Although the dining area is not completely separated from the bar, there is a wall with a large opening, but, the dining area did not smell of smoke. Like all the Village Pubs we've been in, they had nautical theme pictures on the wall. Men's room was bright & clean. We left about 9:00 am & business was picking up. Another waitress had arrived as did a bus-boy. (They still called that?) So our advice (as always) go early. I know we'll be back & asking for Carmen !

I came dressed in a casual skeleton jumpsuit, which was kind of a last minute costume for me. Getting there and finding it was super easy. I parked in the casino parking garage, which had plenty of spaces, and walked right over, which was just a short walk away. The weather that evening was perfect to sit outside on their patio, watch a little bit of game 6 of the World Series, and watch other people go by all dressed up in their own costumes. It was not too hot, not too cold, and not windy at all, though it started getting a little chilly as the night progressed. Our waiter was Batman (actually Jorge dressed as Batman lol), who made a pretty impressive Batman impersonation. The Cali Squeeze Blood Orange Hefe, Jack Daniel's, among other alcoholic drinks made appearances. Not to mention the various Jell-O syringe shots someone in our group bought along with her, and yes, she was dressed up as a nurse. ;D Food appearances were pub pretzels and pork sliders with fries on the side. Jorge (aka Batman) told us that we were given the last pork slider dishes available, as they ran out. We initially thought that he was joking, but he was not. The pretzels were great to snack on while I drank my beer, in the case I was going to drink more later that night. I did drive here, so I had to really pace myself with my drinks. This was a great place to grab some food and drinks before going out for the rest of the night. It's also a great place to watch any game that's on.

A guy dressed up as a squirrel saw me eating this and we struck up a short conversation on how he makes grilled cheese sandwiches the easy way. Though I don't eat these very often, I took his advice.
