The baked penne pasta was extremely cheesy in a good way, it also tasted great, it was enough for my wife to eat and our toddler, plus another meals worth brought home. The stuffed potato skins were big, stuffed with a lot of bacon, it was great. Our servers were great, really chatty (in a good way), and they truly made me feel welcome. You don't find that often in Vegas. There's a bar side (that I didn't sit at), and the restaurant side. This pub is not as good as it was a year ago. One of the reasons is the quality of food vs price is off. Some of the prices have gone up significantly and it seems at the same time there are less patrons and less quality. This combo has us a reluctant to return. This pub has always been a bit dark with dated booths and friendly service. We might return in a couple of months to see if quality goes up just because we have been coming here for years. Maybe. We usually go to the location on Gibson which is closest to our house. But we had our 20 year old daughter with us so they didn't let us in. We tried this location instead for the first time, since you don't have to be 21. We were looking forward to wings, fish and chips and burgers. But since it was Saturday they had prime rib which is tough to pass up, being fans of Ellis Island. It was still afternoon, so although prime rib can be hit or miss, we felt it was early enough in the day to get the best cuts. I ordered rare, two others ordered medium rare. They came back to tell me they only had medium rare, and I said that was fine. Unfortunately what they served was well done. I'd rather they tell me they only have medium or well done, then tell me they have medium rare and serve grayish prime rib. I know at the other location they want to know if you're not satisfied with your order so they can make it right. Here when I mentioned it wasn't medium rare, they didn't make any effort to correct it, and I didn't want to make a scene. The fish and chips at Village Pub is very good when done right. Unfortunately here at this location, the batter was not crispy at all and the fish not as fresh as other locations either, and was a little fishy. I mentioned that too, but no offer to change it. The wings were good, burger was good, salad and ice water were all good. Yes we literally all said the ice water was good. My friend and I went in at dinner time on 11-2-2025 at 4:30 p.m. We went for their ribs which were always good. But last night something had changed! The ribs were missing BBQ sauce and they smelled, the potato salad and coleslaw tasted like vinegar, and both were yellow! The waitress was so nice, and I told her about the food and she took it and brought us out fries instead! I took the ribs home but went to eat them for lunch today 11-3-2025 and they smelled like something had died, and I threw them away! We asked the waitress what happened your ribs were so good?! She said we have a new cook and he is struggling! I don't think I will go back this crap was served and it was awful! Interesting place! Off the strip. Very unassuming. There are maybe fourteen other locations with a new one opening soon. A friend invited us to this one. First, let me say, they are 24/7 as is almost everywhere in Vegas. We're night owls and sometimes get to Vegas in the middle of the night. I love that we have a place to go for some food, a drink, and maybe a little gambing. Inside is reminiscent of a 90's English pub with wood paneling, red carpet, and large paintings. There is a room to the right with booths and tables for restaurant dining. There is a large bar to the left that has machines for poker and slot play. Both areas are served by one kitchen. If nothing else brings you back, the food will. A nice variety of menu options. We've eaten here a few times. Everything was very good! Definitely recommend the French Dip or the Potpie. The drinks are well poured as well. If you want to gamble, they have a mix of old and new machines at the bar. You can play poker, keno, or slots. They offer a rewards program that allows you to earn points for games played. We have won and saw others win. Another reason we enjoy stopping here. Last, the service is very good! I also tried something new which was their big chicken breast with rice pilaf spinach and Portabella mushrooms and boy was that yummy too! She brings us our drinks and comes back and says I'm gonna go ahead and take care of these but normally you have to put 20 in the machine and play a dollar a hand and we were like well, you know we've been coming here for years and not, and I swear to you not one bartender has ever said that to us so we are like OK whatever we'll just have a drink we put our 20 in. We have our breakfast and my boyfriend hit the cash out button on accident so it cashed out 13 she gave it to us I just gave him a 20 to put in the machine so I ordered another drink and she's like well. I'm gonna have to charge you for this one. I go well how much is it? She goes to the register I don't know what she did. She comes back and said I can wait until your done with breakfast than I go no I wanna pay for it now she's like well if you put more money in the machine then I won't charge you, we eat our breakfast we get done. She's like I'm gonna have to charge you for those last few drinks and my boyfriend like I put 20 in and I was playing a dollar hand so if anything he should've got the free drink the second one but she didn't. My co-workers and I go to bars all over the Valley and this has by far been the worst due to the odd rules and unpleasant staff. I came here after looking at a banquet hall down the street. My fiancé and I had heard that the food was really good here, especially the ribs for the price they're sold for. My fiancé said last time he tried to order ribs they said they were discontinued, which was strange because it's on their menu. I went in and asked them if they had ribs, and the girl said yes. I ordered a full rack of ribs and subbed the coleslaw and potato salad for steak fries, and then for myself I ordered a buffalo wrap with steak fries. The girl who took the order repeated it back to me to make sure it was correct, and I verified that it was. I waited about 15 minutes for the food to arrive and the guy said he put in a side of ranch for me which I appreciated because I had forgotten to ask. When I got home and we opened the food, and they forgot my fiancés fries, which we were pretty annoyed about. Aside from that, the food was actually very good, and the wrap was way bigger than I expected it to be. We arrived just after eight am & only a few customers were in the place, so no waiting, sit wherever we like. Wasn't noisy either at that time. Which I like. Carmen was our waitress & besides the bartender was the only employee we saw. Carmen did a wonderful job! Kudos to her! Taking orders, busing tables & taking payments. Came back often, checking on us, refilling our water & asking the Mrs if she wanted another Bloody Mary. By the way, the Mrs said the Bloody Mary was good, but could've used a lime. The meal came out quickly & was great, bacon, eggs, with sweet potato tots for the Mrs & house potatoes for me & sourdough toast for both. Prices are quite reasonable, two meals, two Bloody Mary's & was less than $25.00 including the tip. Two large bars with in counter gaming if that's your choice. There is no smoking In the dining area, but it is allowed in the bar. Although the dining area is not completely separated from the bar, there is a wall with a large opening, but, the dining area did not smell of smoke. Like all the Village Pubs we've been in, they had nautical theme pictures on the wall. Men's room was bright & clean. We left about 9:00 am & business was picking up. Whether I come here for breakfast or dinner, I have received continuous food service! The waiters know my family quite well and they always greet us with friendly smiles and conversation. Village Pub has to sections of the establishment: a smoking area and a non-smoking dining room. They also have daily specials and have rather large portions. This particular night, I ordered soup and salad. The salad was very fresh and they even brought out extra croutons and added plenty of thousand island. For the soup, I ordered French onion. I enjoyed it however, the onions needed to be cooked longer in order to achieve that classic "sweet onion" flavor. The broth was a tad bit too salty to my liking, however, I still enjoyed it! First time at this location. It's much larger than the Cannery location so you're not bothered by smokers at the bar. The menu and daily specials are the same. The service is good and the employees are helpful and friendly. I decided on the burnt ends sandwich. My partner went for the salmon dinner. I added a root beer float, one of their specialties. Delicious. Unfortunately the burnt end sandwich didn't live up to expectations. The meat was full of fat and so chewy that I couldn't swallow it. I had to send it back, something I hate having to do. I ordered fish and chips to replace it. Three pieces of cod with a delicious batter. No disappointment here. My partner wasn't thrilled with the blackened salmon. He described it as poor quality product. Overall I was surprised and disappointed. I've had great meals at other Village Pub locations. This didn't measure up. Maybe it was just a bad day. read more

A great place for breakfast, any day of the week....but, the weekend $2.50 Bloody Mary's and Mimosas are always a bonus. It is an older building, and even though the bat and restaurant are separate rooms, you can sometimes smell the old smoke...but, it is not too bad, even for us "reformed smokers" who complain about cigarettes smoke probably more than others. The service is always great, we have never had bad service at this location. I can only comment on the breakfast here, which everything we have had has always came out hot and tasted great. I had a very upsetting interaction with one of the bartenders, Kim. We were there on Sunday night, as we have been for the last 4 weeks in a row. My dad and I had dinner, and then he went to gamble at the bar. When I joined him, we talked a bit and he was giving me tips about how to play. After I hit cash out, a bartender named Kim came over.  She rudely threw the cash at me, and told me we needed to be quiet. When I tried to explain that my dad has a hearing disability, she talked over me and told me that we were too loud, and we were upsetting everyone in the bar. There was maybe 6 people there, and it didn't appear that anyone was upset but her. After that, my dad asked her if the other bartender spoke English, and she accused him of being racist. My father was not being racist; he probably just didn't hear her when she responded to him. I am very upset that a bartender, who SHOULD be in the business of customer service, would be so rude and mean to an elderly, disabled man. My dad is a disabled veteran, who fought for our country, and received a permanent injury because of it. I can't believe she dismissed his disability, and then she called him racist!  My father literally did nothing to her, and she was rude and mean for no reason.  It is also shocking that this kind of behavior is acceptable at the Village Pub.  After this horrible experience, we will not be going to any Village Pub ever again. read more

Service and food quality are not consistent. This location seems to have a real problem with the chef. One time the food is good and prepared to order and the next time it totally sucks like it did today. No refill on coffee, omelet prepared with wrong cheese over cooked and potatoes cold but hard and obviously cooked and recooked.
