What a great find! Off the beaten path but incredible vegan options - 5 different vegan ice cream flavors and can also get a vegan milkshake. Amazing soft serve sundaes too! And lots of options. Really great vibe and such kind people.

TRIMMERS HOMEMADE ICE CREAM - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! JJ as I call them or Jane and Jim the owners & operators of Trimmers Ice Cream are two of the nicest people around! Visiting for the first time and experiencing the weirdest weather of sun and then rain and then more sun and THEN MORE RAIN was just getting me down! The solution TRIMMERS ICE CREAM!!! I was right as rain after that!!! They have a terrific selection of both HARD and soft serve ice cream and all I can say is Y-U-M-M-M-M-M-Y! I had Coconut Chocolate Almond topped with Dark Chocolate Raspberry and it was out of this world! Even as the rain started falling again I didn't seem to care any more and it didn't seem like JJ did either as they both came over to the umbrella covered table I was sitting at to talk with me about our common home state of New Jersey! They even have a special Sundae Sundae for the Jersey Girls!! (get it?? do ya, do ya get it?? Sundae , Sunday) Okay never mind! Just head on over to Trimmers Ice Cream for a sweet treat next time you are in the area you won't be disappointed!! Very friendly, quick service, always delicious. The drive through coffee spot is just as good and even more convenient.

This place is fabulous! Not only are the ice creams great but their prices are ideal. Love that they take Venmo as I never have cash.

Oh - and the super fresh house-made waffle cone is worth $1.25. Every time we visit this area, we visit Spotted Duck. Note - they close daily from 5 - 6 PM for a dinner break.

Imagine asking, "What would an ice cream stand be like if it were crossed with a fine FLX winery in a beautiful farm setting?"--that's exactly the vibe here. Elevated, serene, and absolutely delicious. The facility and grounds are immaculate, with a peaceful, pastoral atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The staff was warm and welcoming, and they generously offered samples so we could explore the flavors before committing (dangerous, because they're all incredible). We ultimately chose three flavors: * Cookie Monster (Real Cookies & Cream) -- Their take on cookies & cream is next‑level. It's built on their handcrafted vanilla cream base and loaded with hearty chunks of their own legendary chocolate chip cookies. Think of an ice cream sandwich turned inside out--rich, decadent, and deeply satisfying. * Fleur Bleu -- A gorgeous blend of local organic blueberries, subtle French lavender, and their classic vanilla cream. It's delicate, floral, and beautifully balanced. This one kept us slowing down each bite just to savor the nuance. * Ditch Mint Chip -- Made with hand‑picked fresh mint and dark chocolate chips. Bright, refreshing, and leagues above the artificial mint flavor you get elsewhere. It was excellent, though admittedly overshadowed by the other two standouts. The frozen custard itself is among the best we've ever tasted--rich, creamy, and unbelievably smooth thanks to their signature use of local duck eggs. Even the vanilla base was a sleeper hit, with a depth of flavor you don't expect until it hits you. The setting is perfect for a Finger Lakes outing. Whether you're spending the day visiting wineries, hiking the gorges and waterfalls, or just exploring the region, you need to make this a stop on your route. It's one of those places that elevates your whole day. A truly special spot. We'll be back.

The interior is the same as always, while the available flavors are unpredictable, but a taste makes everything right in the world. Their flavor menu has been updated to indicate which flavors contain gluten and which ones don't. They also now have a protocol for those with strict gluten allergies. This time it was spring, so they didn't have my favorite Jalepeno Popper this time around. But they did have Lavender. For the second and third scoops we got Pistachio, followed by Butter Pecan. As a reminder, they use 14 percent buttermilk, and their ice cream emphasizes FLAVOR over sugar. Despite the high fat content, their ice cream doesn't feel heavy while you're eating it. Take that as a warning, since you might feel it after you consume too much. The Lavender was fantastically floral. The Pistachio was like eating Pistachios. Each flavor is exactly as described. Previously, I had also gotten my coworkers ice cream from here several years prior. Hand-packed into pints, you'll need a serious amount of self-control to avoid finishing them in a single sitting. They've also opened up a location in DeWitt Mall on the Seneca Street side of the commons.

They also have some savory food options if you're interested in that. The ice cream was great, my wife enjoyed the cake batter and her waffle cone and I got the Reese's pieces sundae which was incredible! I got the small and it was way more than enough. Only go large if you haven't had food in 24 hours. The place was busy but we really had no wait at all. The team was working fast back there. Prices are average for ice cream nowadays and I thought portions were appropriate. They have an inside and outside eating area attached to the creamery and there is more outside down the hill where there is extra parking as well. It's nothing special inside but for an overly hot day nice to have. The outside down the hill provides shade so that is nice as well. Either way a great stop for ice cream if you are in the area. Enjoy!
