You should all leave your Holmes and come out and try Sponge Candy. It doesn't matter Watson TV…read more You'll love it. Try it here, and try it from Alethea's in Clarence. This is the pretty expensive little Buffalo area chocolate chain store which has a bunch of locations around and about and their sponge candy famously gets put inside ice cream which is absolutely delicious. Have you ever had ice cream with chunks of sponge candy in it? Then you haven't lived! Anyway both of the reviews on this page are incorrect because as much as I love Julie, orange chocolate is horrendous and awful. Orange you glad I clarified that? And as much as I love Watson's it isn't even close to being the best sponge candy in the area... because Alethea's - which is not a chain which is why some in the Southtowns for example have never tried it and can't make the claim Watson's is the best - is twice as good as anything else in the world. So while he is right that it's pretty damn good here, Alethea's the greatest sponge candy or chocolate of any kind in the region and maybe in the whole country. And I've tried all the ones in town and plenty of American made chocolate from everywhere so I don't say that lightly. But I do say this lightly... (whispers) come to bed Bae...

They did indeed deliver a variety of tasty flavored chocolates. I have purchased from this location previously, only chocolate covered nuts, and have been extremely happy with service and eventual outcome - a belly full of goodness! I know now where to go for my good chocolate fix. Prices are not cheap however I am not buying "chocolike". I'm buying good stuff.

Chatted with Marjorie, the owner and how business was and more on her products. The sampling of cookies was a nice touch, for customers to try . Ended up purchasing her flamingo cookie that was infused with Krupnik; Polish liquor . The cookie itself European style, right portions of everything delicious. The other cookie had the artistic craft of baking infused with orange, not sure what else was magnificent. Be sure to take a business card, as it's a reward card for cookie purchases. Catering by Marjorie, recently won an award for their soups from Buffalo Spree. Be sure to check out this local business , Mckinley Mall, it at events. Look forward to some time on a day off, checking out the location to support.

The owner was super nice and chatted about her available cookie and soup options as well as offered samples. Since we had just eaten lunch, we each only had a cookie sample. It was a shortbread hazelnut cookie and it was divine! It was buttery, nutty and not too sweet; it would be a great compliment to a cup of tea or coffee. Everything was displayed neatly and well organized within her space. I will definitely be back next time I find myself in Hamburg.

Husband purchased roses for Valentine's day for me. as i was unpacking to display them i noticed…read moreevery single stem and petal was wilted brown falling apart had horrible scent. i called him to thank him but also ask that he gets new bouquet for the money that he spent. $100 dollars for this is absurd as it is but to not be able to enjoy them for at least a day is another level of absurdity . The money was refunded on the card with no other offer except they can send me chocolate covered fruit next friday!!! i'm beyond appalled at the way Natalie the manager handled our conversation. they were delivered not even 20 min ago. i asked her to have them send a new bouquet she said no it's not an option if i don't like their flowers. Meaning they are all in the same condition as those delivered to me?! the fact they are charging people $100 for something like this bcz they can and it's a holiday is poor business ethic and horrendous customer service. when i told her I would be contacting corporate someone else she said "go ahead" and hung up on me. I live 10 min from the store you would think they would do the right thing. Never again would I support this business. Her attitude was disgusting most definitely not an isolated incident and i'm sure not the last ones they attempt to rip off if they can. Better off buying from a local florist who prides themselves in their work not some cash cow franchise looking to make a quick buck. lesson learned. Edit - after writing review to google i came across so many others who felt compelled to write poor reviews. at least i know im not over reacting with this awful experience. I can't believe they talk to customers and treat them the way they have and are still in business. Mindblowing .

I had a hunch that an Eligible Arrangement would be in the same boat but I was very pleasantly surprised by the price and delivery fee.
