I've been told to come here pretty much once a week since it opened. Since I was finally in the area, I decided to check it out and my goodness, I am mad at myself for not coming sooner!!! This place is amazing! Probably the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. So many different ice cream flavors and probably 6-8 different types of cookies, all bigger than your head. For my foodie friends, try the ice cream sandwhiches. You can get two cookies of your choice, with vanilla, chocolate or twist soft serve ice cream inside it. Too much for one person so make sure to bring your friends! They also make cookie towers which are their cookies smothered in buttercream frosting. I guess I'm first to review this place! Well, it's a great concept- who doesn't love cookies and ice cream? The cookies are gigantic and chewy as cookies should be. They use Giffords ice cream instead of the usual Perry's in addition to custard. I chose the Andes mint 77 (similar to a blizzard) and my father got a caramel sundae. I also got a lemon blueberry cookie to go. You pay for your order first then they make it, which I found pretty odd ..... which might of been why they forgot about my dads sundae altogether. He actually had to say something or they would have never made it. It seemed like there were too many workers behind the counter and not enough direction. Once we got our order though all was good.... I really liked my mint 77 and dad thought his sundae was good but would prefer something more "fruity" next time. Side note- You can order a gigantic ice cream sandwich for $8-$10 .... I saw a few made for other customers and they are a work of art! I have never been to this place before. It is fantastic and it smells heavenly. Great service, and offer ice cream samples. I couldn't believe how beautiful the ice cream cakes are. Terrible shop on Elmwood. The shop was understaffed with 2 girls in an overcrowded store during an event this weekend. The store was extremely hot with no air conditioning. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there is no manager. I feel sorry for the workers there. read more

WOW!!! this place is magic. Honestly. It's bright and new and lovely. When you first walk in you see cases of immaculate cakes and cookies and ice cream. The menu was a tad overwhelming but the counter staff was kind and answered all my questions. I ended up getting an ice cream cookie made to take home to my husband and got a "77" Blizzard type ice cream for myself. It was simple enough- Reece's pieces mixed with PB and vanilla soft serve. This soft serve though.. out of this world. 10/10. The cookie I got was lemon blueberry cookies with vanilla ice cream rolled in sprinkles and it was HUGE. Found a new ice cream place we like! We went here as soon as they opened and glad we did, because there were a LOT of people after 2:30ish. We ordered frozen yoghurt and a medium ice cream (cookies and cream + strawberry cheesecake). We took the ice cream outside where they had picnic benches to sit. They have indoor seating too, but with a baby, we just decided to sit outside. We also bought half a dozen cookies home with us (triple chocolate + oatmeal raisin + salted caramel + smores). special ordered a cake, got a call the next day that the decorator called in but she could sell me one from the case. I agreed as all my daughter wanted for her birthday was to try a special cake from here. Showed up to pick the cake up and the establishment was closed. The location on Seneca street is a little hard to find if you weren't looking for it but the place itself is fantastic. Super modern and well kept inside with a beautiful back and side patio for enjoying your sweet treats! Aside from the decor the ice cream and cookies are fantastic and must be tried! They have loads of different cookies, ice cream cookie sandwiches, drinks, ice creams, and so much more. I actually discovered Cookies & Cream on Instagram! I went within a couple of days and it was as yummy as I hoped it would be! The aroma as soon as you open the door is divine and inviting. There's also a wall of cookies you can't miss! The cookies are large and worth the price! They're about the same price as Insomnia and larger, but thinner. I got 2 mini M&M cookies. The name is a little off as it has sprinkles and white chocolate chips also! I definitely think the name could be a little more creative, but the cookie is yummy! I also got 1 lemon blueberry which was super yummy and I actually preferred it. It has small blueberries in it and sugar chunks on top! Hubby got 2 Reese's and 1 salted caramel which he loved! The ice cream is good as well. We got a #2 signature sundae but chose campfire s'mores ice cream instead of vanilla. I called at 9:30PM on Friday thinking there's no way this place is open so late serving cookies and ice cream. Showed up at 9:45PM - 15 minutes before close. I was beyond shocked to find the place lit up like a dessert themed Christmas ornament. Shining beautifully over a dark and dingy Seneca St.. Even more shocked when I walked to find the place fairly busy with workers running back and forth baking cookies and scooping ice cream. It's the closest you'll ever come to a late night at Willie Wonka's. The smell of baked goods will regret your decision to walk in immediately. I got a gift card, cookies, a sundae and a small ice cream. It's not nearly as expensive as the vibe gives off. The cookies are rich and delicious. And the chocolate ice cream in my sundae was light, airy and yet some loaded with chocolate flavor. There's also a pretty bid patio in the back. I came here with my friend and her dad tonight because I wanted to check out the cookie tower I saw on Facebook. I thought I "had to" have it but alas it was $28. I ended up getting one of their ice cream sundaes. I wanted #8 on their sundae menu because it came with their chaos cookie (cut or broken in half and one half on each side of the sundae.) The #8 was supposed to have Butter Pecan ice cream but I asked if I could have the Aroma Joes PB Mocha ice cream. She said sure. She did one scoop and then had some trouble getting more than that out of the large container. I told her I didn't mind if she wanted to do a difference flavor. I chose the unicorn. It was purple and white ice cream with fun sprinkles. I loved it. The sundae was supposed to have hot fudge, peanut butter pretzels, whipped cream, and a cherry. I think she did nuts instead of the pretzels, which is fine. I think I mixed her up by asking for a different kind of ice cream. They use Giffords ice cream. It was pretty good!!! I bought a S'mores cookie to go!! Oddly enough, they put it in a huge box. It took up one quarter of the box. It was a bit wasteful. It looks delicious though. That'll be breakfast tomorrow. One person sort of seemed in charge and the other employees seemed to have things to do but they lacked direction and were getting in each other's way. The inside seating area looked nice. This place is a hidden gem!!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while, it's amazing, from the moment you walk in you smell cookies...to the right you see amazing ice cream cakes with crumbled cookies on top of them. Upon recommendation from a few South Buffalo natives, I was really impressed at this year-round ice cream shop. The selection of ice cream novelties and cookies is enormous. When I walked in, Donna was baking waffle cones on the spot and was very helpful in helping me decide on my order. She truly loved working here and I thought she was the owner. The shop is very clean and comfortable with a very cute outside patio for additional seating and of course, the perfect aroma of freshly baked cookies. I was so excited when I saw this place open on Seneca a few months back and have been saying ever since that I need to try it! Well, we finally got our chance last night. It was quite busy when we walked in around 9pm so we did have to wait about 10 minutes to order, which was fine because the menu is HUGE with so many options to choose from so it took us a quite a while to decide what we wanted anyway. Luckily we walked in at the right time because about 20 people walked in right after us and the place was packed. Only two people were working so I felt terrible for them but they were moving as quick as they could. It did seem like the young people working didn't have much concept of efficiently and that this was probably their first job, because one of the workers went ahead and took all 20 people's orders first instead of helping the other kid who was making every single order. Not a very efficient way to service customers so hopefully they work out the kinks. They're clearly understaffed like everywhere else is right now so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and we're patient with them. I went with the black raspberry ice cream and a macadamia nut cookie and both were delicious. My fiancé opted for the #7 cookie sundae which had a macadamia nut cookie with strawberry cheesecake ice cream, and nuts and that was delicious but a very large portion. For $8.75 I'd expect it to be, but it was a bit much. Two people could definitely split one. The inside of the ice cream parlor gives off a cool 50s vibe and it's got a lot of good curb appeal. I did see that other reviewers mentioned they have a great patio but it was dark out so I didn't catch that. Will definitely have to check it out next time. I hate writing negative reviews but I have to be honest. This place I feel is certainly over hyped. The cookies are OK, which basically it's ice cream and cookies. I knew they going in, but I guess was prepared to be wowed. Their lemon blue berry cookies were over powered with lemons and was hard to taste the blueberry. Their Pb cup cookies were ok. Adorable small scale cookie and ice cream shop in an unassuming area. Stopped for dessert with three friends and was able to see a decent sample of their desserts. I got an Andes mint blizzard and was a bit underwhelmed. Whatever chocolate was added to the mint chocolate chip ice cream completely almost completely drowned out the taste of mint. It was still tasty, just not minty. My friends got a cookie sundae and a scoop of ice cream and all the servings were generous. I purchased a cute cocoa bomb for a friend. Ok friends, do yourself a favor and visit Cookies & Creme if you're nearby the Buffalo area. Even if you are from the surrounding area, it is worth a drive. My husband and I were visiting from out of town, and we stopped at Cookies & Cream twice! It was that good. Literally upon walking in you smell nothing but fresh baked goods and ice cream! We visited on a Thursday and Friday evening, and there were probably 3-4 young (high school aged) people working behind the counter. I give them props for working to get everyone their order in a timely manner. This is not your typical DQ, Menchies or other chain ice cream. Their dessert items are very decadant, so it does take some time to prepare the more involved dishes. We stuck with a basic "77" as they are called - similar to a DQ Blizzard. We each ordered one, but totally could have shared. They are very generous on the ice cream servings. If you've tried their 77s, get adventurous. Their Sundaes and Cookie Sandwiches look really good too! I saw plenty while waiting for our order. Very picture worthy too - I'm bummed I didn't get photos. We made it in around 9:30, a little bit of a wait ahead of us but not too bad. Ordered the #8, which is a peanut butter sundae with a pb cookie and all of the toppings. This sundae is big enough to share. The ice cream is on the thicker side so it was almost better once it melted a bit. Had very delicious flavors and the cookie it came with was soft and a bit chewy, a perfect addition to the sundae. I would even come here just for the cookies. We sat outside on the beautiful back patio. We were surprised by how spacious the outdoor area was and are definitely looking forward to come back when the weather is a bit warmer. Total nostalgia- looks like a soda fountain (not that I'm old enough to have ever actually been to a real soda fountain but I have seen movies. The girl behind the counter was super nice and they had this ridiculous $28 sundae-ish looking thing in the case that I would love to try some day (with a huge group) Kiddie cone was $2.95 which was also reasonable. My husband and I came here for a date night after a long work week. It has a great modern 50s vibe and the smell of fresh baked cookies when you walk in is amazing!! We ordered a #8 which was perfect for sharing and plenty leftover. It was delicious!! The cookie was huge and the perfect combo of soft on the inside and a little crunch on the outside. Decided to check this place out for dessert. Really cool atmosphere and vibe. The smell that greets you when you open the door is out of this world. The warm cookies and ice cream combination was so good. They had plenty of employees behind the bar and our order was taken and fulfilled in a timely manner we got a cone with a flavor burst on their homemade waffle cone and a traditional sundae. Went in tonight and had a disappointing experience. After talking this place up to basically anyone who would listen, I brought my best friend here on a Saturday night. It was 8:30, the line was long, and there were only two people working--they were clearly overwhelmed. We got up to order and they were out of most of their cookies. We were told they only had sugar, oatmeal raisin, kitchen sink, and red velvet left. Disappointing but fine, my friend and I both ordered their giant ice cream sandwiches with sugar cookies. Turns out they actually didn't have enough sugar cookies. After making my friend's, they informed us they couldn't make mine with sugar cookies. I wasn't interested in any of the other cookies they had to offer so I was going to just ask for a refund. After a beat, the worker informed me that they also had macadamia nut (suspicious since that wasn't initially offered). So I get macadamia nut with vanilla ice cream. They scraped the bottom of the barrel for vanilla ice cream instead of just telling me they didn't have enough so there was barely any vanilla ice cream on my sandwich. My suspicions about the macadamia nut were confirmed when I realized the cookies were rock hard. After waiting in line for 30+ minutes and paying $10+ for an ice cream sandwich, I expected more. I understand that the workers were definitely overwhelmed, but the experience was below subpar. The owners need to staff more people on Saturday and clearly need to work on their inventory. The whole set up great, you walk in to a brightly lit, amazing smelling , kind of 60's vibe. There is walls of cookies and floors of ice cream ( not literally). Tons of menu options , cookie flavors, cakes, ice cream choices. The price for a cookie sundae includes a very large cookie, with sundae goodness in the middle, well worth the price. I really enjoyed their creative menu options. You can get soft serve ice cream with the sundaes as well and that was delicious. The staff was super courteous , the place was very clean and the service was speedy. Once you have received your ice cream you can sit street or court yard side. The back patio was amazing. This place is an absolute delight. The kids and I walked here one evening as a treat. The interior is beautiful, the ice cream is delicious (warning to parents: the portions are HUGE), and we picked up some cookies for fun to bring home. They were the size of bread plates and tasted really good. They've done a wonderful job of making the patio in the back feel like a little park space. The lighting they set up looked really pleasant in the dark, and all of the seating was spaced a very generous distance apart and I felt completely OK having masks off to eat the ice cream outside there as a result. Came here on a Tuesday night around 8pm. The place was flooded with people waiting for their ice cream. We stood in line in front of the cash register for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. I tried ordering a strawberry-vanilla custard twist in a waffle cone, but the flavored twist machine was broken, but they were able to do regular custard twists which didn't make sense to me. Regardless, we each got a '77 which were delicious and I'd highly recommend. The staff seemed to be move slower than a snails pace which made the line grow and grow until there were about 15 people waiting for the order to be taken and another 5-6 waiting to receive their order. All in all, I would come back, but someone needs to teach the staff how to work at a quicker pace! read more

Me My mom My dad my brother and one of my sisters were going to see Christmas lights like we do every year we wanted to stop and get ice cream so we went to cookies and creme because people say its great and its one of the only ice cream places open in winter. So we went to cookies and creme before we went to see the lights. We come in and it smells amazing there is cakes and cookies and ice cream it seems great. On the menu there were things called 77's they said there just blizzards. I saw cookies and creme 77's which I love cookies and creme blizzards so I ordered it they said that it was made with chocolate chip which i was expecting Oreo so instead we got the Oreo one it comes with chocolate or vanilla ice cream (i'm not a real big fan of chocolate ice cream) so i chose vanilla it came to our table and it was a chocolate chip 77's so we asked if we could have the other one they gave it to us but with chocolate ice cream at this point i didn't even care at so we just moved on everybody ate there ice cream everybody else had gotten what they wanted so we paid for it and it had some other ice creams on our receipt which we had not ordered.
