I have never been to this place before. It is fantastic and it smells heavenly. Great service, and offer ice cream samples. I couldn't believe how beautiful the ice cream cakes are. I will definitely be getting one in the near future. This place is so cute and reminds me of an old school soda fountain. I love it and couldn't recommend it more. And they are open all year. I know my sweet tooth doesn't go away in the winter time!

WOW!!! this place is magic. Honestly. It's bright and new and lovely. When you first walk in you see cases of immaculate cakes and cookies and ice cream. The menu was a tad overwhelming but the counter staff was kind and answered all my questions. I ended up getting an ice cream cookie made to take home to my husband and got a "77" Blizzard type ice cream for myself. It was simple enough- Reece's pieces mixed with PB and vanilla soft serve. This soft serve though.. out of this world. 10/10. The cookie I got was lemon blueberry cookies with vanilla ice cream rolled in sprinkles and it was HUGE. My friend and I sat in a booth and enjoyed our ice creams (she got a pub cup cookie Sunday). It was a really nice visit I'd recommend to any dessert lover.

Found a new ice cream place we like! We went here as soon as they opened and glad we did, because there were a LOT of people after 2:30ish. We ordered frozen yoghurt and a medium ice cream (cookies and cream + strawberry cheesecake). We took the ice cream outside where they had picnic benches to sit. They have indoor seating too, but with a baby, we just decided to sit outside. We also bought half a dozen cookies home with us (triple chocolate + oatmeal raisin + salted caramel + smores). Definitely will be visiting again! :)

There are no shortage of awesome local ice cream places and this one should be at the top of anybody's list of places to try. The location on Seneca street is a little hard to find if you weren't looking for it but the place itself is fantastic. Super modern and well kept inside with a beautiful back and side patio for enjoying your sweet treats! Aside from the decor the ice cream and cookies are fantastic and must be tried! They have loads of different cookies, ice cream cookie sandwiches, drinks, ice creams, and so much more. I really liked this place and their salted caramel cookie with their namesake cookies and cream ice-cream was divine!

FYI-The chaos cookie has tree nuts which isn't noted in store.

I actually discovered Cookies & Cream on Instagram! I went within a couple of days and it was as yummy as I hoped it would be! The aroma as soon as you open the door is divine and inviting. There's also a wall of cookies you can't miss! The cookies are large and worth the price! They're about the same price as Insomnia and larger, but thinner. I got 2 mini M&M cookies. The name is a little off as it has sprinkles and white chocolate chips also! I definitely think the name could be a little more creative, but the cookie is yummy! I also got 1 lemon blueberry which was super yummy and I actually preferred it. It has small blueberries in it and sugar chunks on top! Hubby got 2 Reese's and 1 salted caramel which he loved! The ice cream is good as well. We got a #2 signature sundae but chose campfire s'mores ice cream instead of vanilla. Campfire s'mores tasted like a graham cracker based ice cream but could have been vanilla. There's graham cracker pieces, marshmallow fluff and chunks of chocolate in it. Yum! The ambiance indoors and outdoors is perfect. We ate outdoors in their beautiful backyard patio because no one else was out there. The backyard area is perfect for the warmer months!

I called at 9:30PM on Friday thinking there's no way this place is open so late serving cookies and ice cream. Showed up at 9:45PM - 15 minutes before close. I was beyond shocked to find the place lit up like a dessert themed Christmas ornament. Shining beautifully over a dark and dingy Seneca St.. Even more shocked when I walked to find the place fairly busy with workers running back and forth baking cookies and scooping ice cream. It's the closest you'll ever come to a late night at Willie Wonka's. The smell of baked goods will regret your decision to walk in immediately. I got a gift card, cookies, a sundae and a small ice cream. It's not nearly as expensive as the vibe gives off. The cookies are rich and delicious. And the chocolate ice cream in my sundae was light, airy and yet some loaded with chocolate flavor. There's also a pretty bid patio in the back. This will definitely be a nice spot for dessert in the summer - or winter...spring, fall, Armageddon etc..

I came here with my friend and her dad tonight because I wanted to check out the cookie tower I saw on Facebook. I thought I "had to" have it but alas it was $28. It's very tall with layers of cookie and ice cream and whipped cream in layers. It feeds 10 people and I'd probably be full after two bites so I decided against it. I ended up getting one of their ice cream sundaes. I wanted #8 on their sundae menu because it came with their chaos cookie (cut or broken in half and one half on each side of the sundae.) The #8 was supposed to have Butter Pecan ice cream but I asked if I could have the Aroma Joes PB Mocha ice cream. She said sure. She did one scoop and then had some trouble getting more than that out of the large container. I told her I didn't mind if she wanted to do a difference flavor. I chose the unicorn. It was purple and white ice cream with fun sprinkles. I loved it. The sundae was supposed to have hot fudge, peanut butter pretzels, whipped cream, and a cherry. I think she did nuts instead of the pretzels, which is fine. I think I mixed her up by asking for a different kind of ice cream. They use Giffords ice cream. It was pretty good!!! I bought a S'mores cookie to go!! Oddly enough, they put it in a huge box. It took up one quarter of the box. It was a bit wasteful. It looks delicious though. That'll be breakfast tomorrow. One person sort of seemed in charge and the other employees seemed to have things to do but they lacked direction and were getting in each other's way. The inside seating area looked nice. We sat outside on their patio. It was nicely done. I wasn't blown away by this place but I wouldn't mind returning to get one of their ice cream sandwiches. They're around $8.25 and looked huge, delicious, and awesome!!!

This place is a hidden gem!!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while, it's amazing, from the moment you walk in you smell cookies...to the right you see amazing ice cream cakes with crumbled cookies on top of them. To your left you see all sorts of interesting flavored cookies. You can buy cookies, you can buy cookie ice cream sandwiches, you can buy sundaes, or just ice cream. My partner and I shared the choas sundae, which was one full cookie, cut in half, butter pecan hard ice cream, peanut butter sauce, bits of pretzels, whipped cream, and a cherry on top, it was more than enough to share dry$10. So so good! I want one every day! Good to know.... there is sitting inside the restaurant which is like an old school ice cream shop feel, and then outside there is st good-sized area the high-top and tables and picnic table

I was so excited when I saw this place open on Seneca a few months back and have been saying ever since that I need to try it! Well, we finally got our chance last night. It was quite busy when we walked in around 9pm so we did have to wait about 10 minutes to order, which was fine because the menu is HUGE with so many options to choose from so it took us a quite a while to decide what we wanted anyway. Luckily we walked in at the right time because about 20 people walked in right after us and the place was packed. Only two people were working so I felt terrible for them but they were moving as quick as they could. It did seem like the young people working didn't have much concept of efficiently and that this was probably their first job, because one of the workers went ahead and took all 20 people's orders first instead of helping the other kid who was making every single order. Not a very efficient way to service customers so hopefully they work out the kinks. They're clearly understaffed like everywhere else is right now so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and we're patient with them. I went with the black raspberry ice cream and a macadamia nut cookie and both were delicious. My fiancé opted for the #7 cookie sundae which had a macadamia nut cookie with strawberry cheesecake ice cream, and nuts and that was delicious but a very large portion. For $8.75 I'd expect it to be, but it was a bit much. Two people could definitely split one. The inside of the ice cream parlor gives off a cool 50s vibe and it's got a lot of good curb appeal. I did see that other reviewers mentioned they have a great patio but it was dark out so I didn't catch that. Will definitely have to check it out next time. Great new spot in South Buffalo!

Yummy this place was awesome!!! Talk about large delicious cookies and amazing ice cream flavors. I was blown away as I walked in with my friend with our family for her birthday celebration I was so happy we picked this location. The place smelt so good and was very clean everywhere you looked had amazing treats to pick from. This was my first time here and I was overwhelmed with omg what should I try I want to try everything!!! Let me just say nothing is a bad choice and how can you go wrong. I will be coming back to try more as I had the cannoli ice cream and my kids had mint chip and unicorn ice cream!! I loved the back porch area to be able to let our kids run around and it's all fenced in very cute area under a beautiful large tree. I also want to try the cookie cakes they looked amazing as I bet they are!! Good luck you guys picking something as I bet you will want everything like me lol

Have been wanting to try Cookies And Cream for a couple months and it did not disappoint! I love that they are open until 10pm! We made it in around 9:30, a little bit of a wait ahead of us but not too bad. Ordered the #8, which is a peanut butter sundae with a pb cookie and all of the toppings. This sundae is big enough to share. The ice cream is on the thicker side so it was almost better once it melted a bit. Had very delicious flavors and the cookie it came with was soft and a bit chewy, a perfect addition to the sundae. I would even come here just for the cookies. We sat outside on the beautiful back patio. We were surprised by how spacious the outdoor area was and are definitely looking forward to come back when the weather is a bit warmer. I also like there is an outdoor window you can order from. Will definitely be back!!

I had mine with whipped cream, hot fudge and chocolate ice cream. I got it to go and the people checking out next to me commented on how good it looked. Which is funny considering it was sitting in a styroform cup. It was the greatest thing I've ever eaten. The chocolate ice cream was rich and delicious. The bottom of the cup was coated in hot fudge then dumped over the top of the ice cream. And I could've eaten an entire bowl of that homemade whipped cream. It was very light and airy. A must stop when you get a serious ice cream hankering mid winter.

It's also fun to wander around eyeing all the candies and chocolates... excellent gift ideas. On this visit, my daughter and I split a large Arctic swirl with brownies pieces and swapped the vanilla custard for eggnog. Best decision I've made all season, no regrets! The only tiny downside: the signs. So. Many. Signs. Rules everywhere--no ice cream in the chocolate area, carry a basket so nothing melts or breaks, no glass outside, clean your trays, etc. I get it (I, too, am a bit of a control freak), but it does start to feel like ice cream comes with a user manual. That said, clearly they've been burned before... or maybe I just recognize my own people. Either way, worth it for the custard alone. And make sure you plan to go right home. This way, you can buy some of their hard ice cream to keep in your freezer.

The quality is incredible and the mix-ins are so generous, no skimping here. This round we tried the Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella and the Oreo Brownie Cake. Come on... the name alone is tempting, but it delivers. Think fudgy brownie swirls, big chunks of Oreos, and pure chocolatey goodness in every scoop. Basically heaven in a pint. Worth every single penny. And even better when you share it with someone who also has a sweet tooth.

I'll be honest, I've been putting off ordering a few pints because I didn't want to make the effort/time for picking it up. Thanks to a dear friend, a fellow Yelp Elite, I've FINALLY had the opportunity to try some pints, and holy smokes, Living the Cream is phenomenal! Note that in to order flavors, you'll want to follow "livingthecream_" on Instagram, "living_the_cream_" on Facebook, which showcases any new flavors being crafted and hosts the link to place your order. I tried two flavors: Oreo Brownie Smash and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella. Oreo Brownie Smash is Oreo cookie ice cream with brownie batter swirls, Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, and half-baked brownies and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella is spiced eggnog ice cream infused with Jim Beam and Platter's dark orange chocolate stracciatella. Just. WOW! Absolutely no complaints, each was bursting with flavor and packed with so many mix-ins. I loved finding huge Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough chunks and just how chocolatey Oreo Brownie Smash was thanks to all the brownie bits swirled in. The Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella had the creamy, comforting flavor of eggnog with a nice nip of Jim Beam that let you know it was there but never overpowering. The crunchy bits of the dark orange chocolate stracciatella cut through all the creaminess, only elevating the ice cream overall. Opening both pints, I was super impressed how jam-packed they were - It took a bit of effort to get the lids off, the pint was on the cusp of overflowing! So I didn't order these pints so I can't give you the most accurate pricing info, but after trying a couple flavors, I'm happy to order a few pints myself without thinking too much about the cost. I'm really glad Living the Cream is out here, churning up amazing ice cream flavors for Buffalo! As a few other Yelp reviews mention, make a little room in your freezer and treat yo'self to a couple pints of some of the creamiest, mix-in full ice cream you'll ever have!
