The food was a experience. The spring rolls was the appetizer and the was delicious. The chicken went well with the Napa cabbage. The sauces was great for dipping. I loved the orange sauce it had a little kick to it but not to much. The old Fashion was made to perfection the citrus balance kicked the cocktail up another notch. The grilled meat loaf was amazing this was my first time eating meat loaf with gravy. Chef kiss!!!!! The service was great reminded me of a Michelin service. The ambiance was soft lite and easy on the eyes. I shall return

I enjoyed the salad very much , the service was very friendly and the place is clean and not too noisy . Will definitely come back and recommend it highly.

I arrived before a friend and decided to sit at the bar. I was seated there for at least five minutes before she arrived, and even after she got there it took another 5-10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We arrived around 7ish, and although the restaurant was crowded and lively at first, service did not improve as the night went on and people started to leave. I've only dined here for brunch before, so this was my first evening visit. Drink-wise, Village Tavern delivered--I ordered the French pear martini, the tropical cosmo, and a lemon drop, and all were very nice. My friend ordered the Brussels sprouts and the Cajun seafood fettuccine and thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I'd come back for the drinks for sure and to try more dinner options, but I probably wouldn't sit at the bar again and would hope for better service next time

Our family loves to go to Village Tavern for brunch. We love ordering the crabcake Benedict. The service is always really good and the food is even better. I don't like eggs and I always get a substitution and they're always very reasonable with what my options can be.

I've been for lunch many times but not for dinner. We were seating in the main dining area, which is a bit louder than other areas I've been seated, probably because of the higher ceiling. Wasn't so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves like other places, though. I got the chicken alfredo, which came with broccoli. It was pretty good. I've also previously had the meatloaf which was good, too. I definitely recommend their mashed potatoes and gravy. The staff is always attentive and pleasant.

What a fun time for lunch on a Saturday! Just dropped in while on a road trip--Stephen was our outstanding server! Quiet and comfortable place! The brioche French toast was excellent, rich and gooey! Served with great hash browns, freshly prepared with lots of onions! Hubby had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans!

Ask for Briana!!! She provided my party of 3 with the most engaged service during my recent visit. She was great! Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I was sad to learn that they no longer have steak fries. I was devastated!!! I really was..... Village Tavern is always pretty solid. The vibe here is really relaxed and casual but still offers great service & quality food.

Crispy Brussels were great. Having a business meeting. Service and answering questions was great. We both had the Ribeye. Cooking was perfect and steaks looked amazing. Flavor and seasoning of steak was not the greatest a little disappointing. Still good food but no WOW

Came for a work lunch with my team. We had reservations so we were seated once everyone arrived. Our server, Courtney, was so kind and personable. He was funny too. Made us feel at home. We ordered several apps. I picked the calamari, no peanuts and sauces to the side. I guess I adjusted it too much because it ended up being bland. I tasted the crab dip, it was pretty good with those yummy pitas. I didn't taste any others but I didn't hear any complaints. I ordered the seafood pasta as my entrée. It was a huge portion with tons of shrimp and sausage and some large scallops too. It was petty good. My buddy ordered the blackened salmon and shrimp and the portions were also large. There was the sashimi app, which was enjoyed by my peer as her entrée. My manager had a salad that randomly came with a tiny blueberry muffin. We all ordered various desserts to go. Butter cake was my choice... it didn't disappoint.

Our waitress was amazing, but the chicken marsala was horrible. Three of us ordered it at the table and all agreed that the chicken was way overcooked it was burnt on the underside did not taste good at all. I wish I would've spoken up about the dish but I didn't. I probably would not get this dish again.

I love VT! It's been around for a while. After shopping, I know I can grab a bite to eat in a lovely setting. Village Tavern has more of a formal vibe, but casual clothes are welcome. I ordered chicken Marsala, and it was very tasty! The service was good. We also ate the complimentary bread that you had to request. Check them out soon!

Took drink orders right away but we had been there almost 30 minutes and had to beg to get orders taken. Then at the end, waitress disappeared. We finally had to pay up at the bar. Really 20 people should have had a dedicated waiter or at least one not so busy! Last thing was I thought the whole restaurant needs a deep cleaning, from floors, menus, rest rooms to tables. Just not pristine. And required 20% tip for groups was not earned! Highlight was shrimp and grits for $13.99 was delish and hubby enjoyed Shrimp Alfredo. Waiter charged hubby $4,99 for a beer when menu clearly had price at $3,99! Only a dollar but just not great service.

It was opened by a husband and wife couple, Chef Rob McDaniel and his wife Emily in 2025. As a James Beard Award nominated chef, there was good reason to expect a great meal even before the dinner. The presentation, creativity and focus on seasonality are standout features of Bayonet. Very bold dishes like the chive and caviar egg sandwich prove that the chef does not hesitate to go extreme. The Strawberry Wahoo was no less impressive, both in presentation and the genuinely unique combination. Staff are highly professional, bartenders Bradley and Miles are top notch pros of the industry. We had to try the egg sandos everyone raved about, but honestly I could've passed. Yes, it was good but not good enough for me to justify the price. We took home a coconut pie because we were too full and I was so happy we did. It was insanely delicious -- the sweet custard and the crumble of the crust was just a party in my mouth. I will absolutely come back if I'm in the area again.

We were seated promptly handed menus and about 30 seconds later approached by the waitress for drink orders. We asked for a drink menu as there was nothing to advertise what drinks they were serving. We ordered drinks and she returned 2 mins later to take our food order. We ordered appetizers, salad and main courses. The drinks came quickly, the salads came right after and then about 3 mins later, the appetizers came out. 3 mins after that, the main courses arrived so we had plates stacked everywhere on the table and quickly tried to finish our salads and appetizers before the main dish got cold. The waitress never returned to the table until she brought the bill. The plates were all cleared by someone else. We saw her leave a bill at the table next to us and wait until they checked it over and figured out a payment method, so when she arrived at our table we just handed her a credit card. The food was average but the overall experience was terrible. I realize she was probably new and this may have been her first night but some training would go a long way!
