I love that no matter how feverishly they appear to be working, as soon as you step through the door they look up to greet you with a sincere smile. Triana herself is very soft-spoken, but very detail oriented (of course the nature of her work). Might I add, she has a very gentle touch. Never once did I feel like I was being crammed into my dress. In April I received a final fitting on my wedding dress. The top was taken in, straps were removed and 5 points were sewn in for an American-style bustle. Although I went against their recommendation to add cups, she was still able to transform my clearance rack dress into a wonderful masterpiece. The only reason I didn't give her 5 stars is because 2 points on my bustle tore right before the reception. Maybe that was my fault (lots of hopping around a dancing), but I wished that it was a bit more reinforced. P.S. I did take a pair of shorts to be taken in over the summer. Flawless work! Too bad I've lost weight since then :O)

I recently had them cut off the sleeves on a dress that was a beastly fabric. Here's the deal...can I sew? All day, every day. Do I like to sew? Hell no! These folks do pristine work at a wonderful price and have about a week turnaround. I also know that I can trust them with a nice piece and they will do a good job. It's well worth the peace of mind to take it to them so that you can keep from pulling your hair out trying to be your own seamstress.

I rarely need tailoring assistance, as I like to sew - but for a suit it's imperative!…read more Ms. Kim did an exceptional job on custom altering my new plaid wool-blend suit (which I intentionally purchased too-large and budget-friendly from Chadwick's in order to make it alterable): *** transformed the skirt into high-waisted style for my super long torso so it now looks fabulous with a blouse tucked in! *** shortened the jacket's overall length to make a riding jacket style *** shortened the sleeves length and width, for a nice custom fit LOVE IT! With proper care and storage, this suit will last for decades. If you are going to get a custom tailored suit with many custom changes like mine, plan on spending at least $120 - and if it's a rush job, expect to pay a premium. (On the other hand, custom suits from clothiers like Tom James on Far West that do all your measurements, provide high-end fabric, and artisanally design/cut/sew the suit cost at least $800, so I've been told, and that is far beyond my budget, though it is a worthy investment for some professions).

I found Fatimas through a recommendation and went to her to get a bridesmaids dress altered. And the dress was already too small pre pandemic and I needed the dress for several months into the pandemic. Needless to say, At that point I think the dress was probably 3 sizes too small and wouldn't even come close to zipping. I had no clue what to do and I brought it to Fatima and she said "anything is possible" lol and the dress fit BEAUTIFULLY. I don't even know what she did or how she did it and I honestly don't care and she did it for less than my friend paid for a hemming at David's bridal. i went in spent 3 minutes with the tailor he didn't understand a word I said and rattled off a…read moreprice to alter my delta uniform, i did not ask him to touch the bodice or sleeves just remove the back zipper and make it smaller. I thought he said 81.00. i said ok. i got the receip and it was 205.00 4 times as much as the dress was worth. after the shock wore off and I walked to my car I decided to go back in and cancel my service and collect my dress. on his wall behind a plant was his cancellation policy it was 25% of the alteratio. so he charged me 52.00 to cancel for a total of 6 minutes of his time. I said thats a rip off. i was willing to pay the cc cancellation fee and for his time and leave without saying a word but here I am.
