I decided to come here for a Brazilian cause my regular spa is closed for renovation. The price is really reasonable but you get what you pay for. A regular Brazilian usually takes between 20-30 mins from prep to clean, but my appointment only lasted 10 mins, It felt like a race to get me out. I got my hair removal here for my under arms and it wasn't bad. When reading the reviews I was very surprised to see how many negative comments there were. When I went to go get my service done, The staff there were very nice and there were about three staff on the Monday I was there. The facility is quite clean itself, and the prices are very reasonable. Though I would say to make sure that you know how much you will spend here and what you're getting, because they try to upsell me (which is good in a business point of view but bad on my bank account lol). However before the laser removal session I actually did a cool sculpting session as well, and I would just say to keep an eye on promotions because they do have a lot of promotions for these session. My wife originally thought she would try this place out and purchase one appointment to enhance her facial appearance however, she was pressured into purchasing 7 appointments because apparently the results of one wouldn't give the results she was looking for. So $1500 later, she was pressured into 7 appointments of which produced ZERO results. They promised her amazing results and produced ZERO results. Naturally, we were very upset so we decided to pay a visit to obtain our money back. One visit turned into another promised visit of which we were not notified of within one week as suggested by the owner. We payed a surprise 2nd visit of which they proceeded to call the cops in hopes to escort us out. Apparently, they don't accept customers whom are disatisfied. Trust me! Don't go to Vimi! Only come for the eyebrow threading and although they do it well, I've watched the price consistently increase from $3 to what is now $5 (40% markup!!) which is pretty ridiculous considering everyone else does it for much cheaper. I understand with the economy things are going to increase in price but I don't get how this is justified - I mean the cost of materials is literally some sturdy thread, which is maybe a few bucks for a full roll? Then the rest of the cost comes down to service, which is maybe 3 minutes of their time. Plus they will expect you to pay taxes and tip. There is very limited parking here but luckily it's not that busy. I only come here for threading, and I need to specify that it's for upper lip threading. For an extremely weird amount of 3.38 or was it 3.48 you get your hurricane-quick threading service. Location: It's going to be quite difficult turning left (towards south) on Markham Road. Service: The ladies here are friendly but damn they do things quickly. I was in and out within 5 minutes. I swear it took longer for me to pay than to have my upper lip threaded lol. The staff do know what they are doing, but I wish I got a little more service. Right, I only paid $3 ish dollars, why am I complaining? The only thing I don't like is that the thread keeps snapping/breaking when they are doing the task. I've gotten my upper lip threaded multiple times but they gotta watch for that (I do know that threads breaking is common, just meh). Having said that, it wasn't too painful and the lady asked if everything was okay. They will apply aloe (or some type of lotion) on your skin afterwards to ease the redness/pain. i went there first time to get a consultation and I had been approached by the owner , who upsold me to a package of 7 treatments worth 1500 . I didnt have any serious issues of my facial skin, but she promised fabulous results with 7 treatments as apposed to the 1 initial treatment that i originally went in to purchase. After my 7 treatments,i waited few months, because , the owner told me , i need 1 months , after all my treatments to be complited, to get result i be happy . i see no result att all after many months. i had been gone back and spoke to owner, she told me, i need to keep spending more money , 1500 wasnt enough . I Had terrible experience , the owner took my money, and i got no result at all . i woild rate that spa 0 . would never recomend . Came for a Brazilian wax before a trip I was taking. I had only ever had another Brazilian once before but I remember that one to be WAY better. The appointment was quick, which was great, but when I got home I noticed how carelessly it was done. The woman that did my wax missed quite a few spots and I ended up having to shave a bit along my bikini line on my trip.. which totally defeats the purpose of the wax. Terrible experience. Went here for a full body wax because my regular person was on vacation. I had two people come in to do it, which I've had before and I don't mind because it's faster but they didn't really ask me if it was okay. Their website says that they use cream wax and have individual cartridges for sensitive areas - not true in my experience. I got home and noticed there were a lot of spots they missed, and wanted to go back but stopped myself when I realized there were a couple of places (sensitive places, I might add) where my skin was burnt and one in particular where a chunk of skin was waxed right off. Terrible experience. Got my eyebrows threaded and customer service was very bad as well as the eyebrow job. Lady was very rude. For example, after I had held my eyebrows, her cue for me to put my hands down were "mm". The only words I heard from her was "ok" during the whole session. She had also rushed as it only took her 3 min max to finish, when it was done she did not ask if I was satisfied nor give me a mirror to check. The lady had simply walked away to the task she was doing before hand. As I came out to the mirror to check my eyebrows, they weren't completely clean and she was already out of sight. In addition, the front desk lady was unprofessional. As I was paying, she was chatting with other employees. Would not recommend at all, you can find a place that can do a higher quality eyebrow job for similar price. Will not come here again. read more

No client focus or care., worst place. My wife just visited this place for eye brows and facial waxing. The staff who performed the service seems new and not trained. She had burnt wife's face at five different spots. Worst part of it is the person asking for payment even after the face is burnt and with spots. They must be very careful when dealing with hot wax products. Not even apologizing for their fault and asking for money. I'm so disappointed and angry. Very bad place in my opinion, training people at the cost of clients. Will never recommend this place, pay attention specially if the person is capable of doing sensitive treatments. read more

I used to come to this place for threading but the service was really bad and was getting worse. Basically you can't ask for someone specific to do your eye brows even you were willing to wait. I've been to this place for eyebrow threading many times and it's fast and affordable. I decided to give their facial service a try and it was a huge mistake. The girl at the reception desk kept upselling me on the microdermabrasion and oxygen treatments. I insisted that I have sensitive skin and probably cannot tolerate it. She reassured me that the machines are very gentle on the skin and it won't be a problem. I ended up trusting her and went with the dermabrasion + facial. Just as I had expected, it was way too harsh for my skin. Two minutes into the treatment the lady stopped probably because she saw how sensitive my skin was. They didn't offer a partial reimbursement even though I barely used the machine during my facial. The girl at the front kept insisting the treatment was right for me. My face was erythematous and painful the next 2 days. If you plan to come here for a facial, don't let them upsell you on treatments you don't need. They compromised my face just to make an extra $30 in sales - not very ethical in my opinion. read more

For a hair cut or any spa treatment, this place is as good as it gets! The staff is very friendly and attentive. My mom and I came to this location to get haircuts and we both thought they did an excellent job although the prices are slightly exorbitant. Still, we were really impressed with the quality of the services offered even if they are a bit on the expensive side. Had the worst experience with the receptionist. I've gone to Vimi Spa Markham numerous times for eyebrow threading appointments with Mital (she is excellent, does perfect eyebrows every time). I tried to book an appointment with her today, and was told by the receptionist that "we don't do eyebrow appointments anymore, walk-ins only". I have done walk-ins here, and have not had good experiences. The employees are not all at the same skill set - understandable, which is why I wanted to book my appointment with the person I want. My walk-in experiences have been - bleeding, uneven eyebrows and the receptionist did my eyebrows once after I waited 20 minutes (pretty bad). The receptionist told me maybe come at 12 she might be free, come at 2 she might be free, there are no promises - you will just have to wait for Mital. I do not think they are aware that people do not have allllll dayyyy longggg to wait for an eyebrow appointment. I simply just wanted to book an appointment for my eyebrows... impossible. read more
