    Almost ready to ride!

Riding horses in Temecula is about as close to Texas (or Montana, for Yellowstone truthers) as California can get. Our trail boss, Dirks, was very friendly and knowledgeable! (Pro tip, ask him about his MMA career for some interesting stories) All in all a very fun way to spend my wife's birthday and would recommend to anyone who wants to experience a small slice of the cowboy life!

If you don't receive a service or a service was cancelled, you are within your full legal right to file a chargeback under the Fair Credit Billing Act despite no-chargeback agreements and no refund policies. No-chargeback agreements are not legally binding in any country. Consumers cannot forfeit their statutory right to a chargeback under the Fair Credit Billing Act and is often used by businesses to scare customers from pursuing this course of action. Attempted to receive a refund due to weather. It was pouring rain. I reached out several days before and several times before the day of the reservation and received no response up until four hours before the scheduled ride and was informed at that time the reservation was cancelled. They don't offer refunds, only reschedules. The reschedule is not a viable solution if you don't live in the area. Attempted to work out the issue with the business and they threatened me that they'd pursue legal action against me for filing a chargeback with my bank after they refused to issue a refund. Please look at other reviews mentioning "refund" and you'll see similar threatening responses from the owner as well as a lack of responsiveness to people trying to obtain a refund far in advance of their reservation for various reasons.

My son and I did a ride with Vin Hesten on Saturday March 14 from 4-6pm. It was a very good experience. Our guide Sam was fun. She is an authentic individual. We started the ride with a few lessons on how to use the reins to get the horse to go where we wanted. Then we set out on a mixture of single track nature trail and dirt road riding. The horses were well behaved and easy to ride. The weather was perfect as the sun began to sink lower. We enjoyed the experience and will return if we want to ride again!

The trails were so relaxing ..the wine tasting after was a plus..gorgeous winery.

We had such an amazing time. We were all first timers and felt comforatble with our knowledgeable guide . Our horses were sweethearts too! And the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you Meghan!!!

Sam our trail guide was amazing, she ran us throw commands on the ranch and let us get comfortable with the horses before hitting the trail. The trail was perfect and mostly shaded which was great for the heat, the horses are so well trained very easy to ride for new riders like myself, Sam gave us clear instructions and communication the whole trail To make it a great experience for us and the horses, we loved it! Definitely will be back hopefully with same horses and same guide!

If you haven't been there, how am I going to be able to explain what you're missing ? Completely impossible. And if you're in California southern, to mid. An economical weekend this could be vacation. Stay safe have fun . Turn off the media and the fear. Don't forget to live while you're making a living. Some things are even free. Couldn't picture of the horseback riding, I'm disabled and was side-by-side with a helper, and having the best time in my life, but I tell you it was the best part.

Amazing trail ride with Jade and Cole as our tour guides. Will defiantly be back. Great little course they teach you before you go and the horses were so sweet. Still missing Ranger

We went on the sunset ride Tonight. It was a private ride with our guide. He was great. I would recommend to anyone no matter what experience you have. I loved this picture..my horse sticking tongue out. Ranger was perfect. We will go again..maybe with family to share

I loved Vin Hesten! My partner and I were riding Ranger and Mega respectively and had an amazing time. It was hot out here in July but there are parts of sun and shade so once we got on the trail it was a fantastic time. We booked through Virgin Experiences which didn't let Vin Hesten know we were coming, so make sure you call ahead to sign the emailed waivers and let them know you've booked with them if you use a voucher or something. Sam was our guide and did a great job putting me at ease, answering my questions, and leading us. I was on Ranger who is a complete sweetheart and I miss him already. Mega is larger and tried to eat some hay and grass but my boyfriend handled him just fine so we had a great experience. Sam is super cool and easy to talk to as well, and she made sure all safety things were taken care of before we started too with great care which I really appreciated. Only downside: the Port-o-Potty is super gross apparently, according to my partner. Stop on the way there to use any restrooms if you need to. I'd recommend long pants and breathable long sleeved tops because you may brush up against some trees and things while on the trail that could cut you potentially-- however, it's not dangerous really. Taller people beware, you may need to fuck under some lower outward branches while on the trail. By the way, if you book the horses and wine thing, you go to Frangipani afterwards which is nearby.

Me and the love of my life Ranger, my boyfriend also came along with the handsome and well tempered Mega

My first time doing a proper horse riding trail and Sam went out of her way to make me and my horse buddy Ranger comfortable. She was an absolute angel and had eyes on the back of her head, giving me advice and tips the whole ride through. She was knowledgeable, professional, and patient with all my questions! I didn't know what to expect for this experience but she definitely exceeded all expectations. Thanks Sam, can't wait to do another ride and hear all your stories!

    Good times on sweet ponies!

Our tour guide Mark couldn't have been more kind, patient and helpful. He made excellent choices matching our group to their appropriate horse for riding. Based on our weight and height our horses were Chili, Boogie, and Izzy! Such sweet babies they were. Chili loved to snack on the vines, but was easily redirected to get back on track. If you're too nervous to take photos while on the trail, DON'T WORRY because MARK is sweet enough to do that for you! If you love wine, highly recommend to purchase the package with the wine tasting (to be enjoyed after your ride) because the wine from DANZA SOL WINERY was THE BEST WINE I had all weekend. The horseback tour is amazing. You arrive get your paperwork situated and they match you with your horse based off height. All the horses are just so kind. Our tour guy Mark was amazing, talked to us about the venue, the grapevine, took pictures throughout the tour and sent us all the pictures he took as well. Felt safe while riding with our tour guide. The horses do like to sneak in a few pecks off the vines and some more than others...lol but it's manageable. It doesnt look like your high up, but once you saddle up you realize the height, but the more you ride the more comfortable you get on your horse. I loved it. The weather was amazing. All the staff were friendly and professional. Had an over all great ride. We were celebrating my sister birthday and we couldn't have had a better experience and time with our horses and Mark our tour guy. The ride is pretty lengthy but its nice and you get what you pay for. Make sure to bring pants, closed toe shoes and sunglasses. After your ride you can give the horses some cookies, which they love and look forward to it. I enjoyed that part as well. There's only a port-a-potty on sight that I saw. So technically there is a restroom on sight, but we all know how stinky those are. So go before you arrive or the winery next door has restrooms that are much more ample. Definitely worth every penny. Would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy and good time riding as well as some good wine afterwards.

At the beginning of the lesson the horse they gave me to ride was taken to the round pen to exercise out some of his energy, which I thought was kind of odd. Then I was told to get on the horse. As soon as I swung my leg over the saddle to mount the horse, he started bucking. I ended up behind the saddle sitting on the horse's rump struggling to stay seated but then finally went flying off. I was really surprised that I was given a horse like that because this was the first time I had ever been there. I tried to get on again and the horse tried to buck again. Someone grabbed his head and I was finally able to get on the horse. After that he was fine but I had some massive bruises the next day. I think Green Acres needs to have better trained horses.

There were Adirondack chairs outside, cornhole, etc. It was such a welcoming place. There were food trucks from which to purchase Mexican food etc. out in the parking lot. After Covid, they expanded which is great. The comfy Adirondack chairs turned into metal tables and chairs. The space feels much more crammed. It does not feel so relaxed anymore. And as for the employees, snarky comments should never be tolerated. My daughter-in-law had her mother's retirement party at this establishment. Initially, the woman she talked to on the phone was not very helpful or welcoming. Some other gentleman was VERY helpful and gave the impression that this party was welcome here. On the night of the event, 15 people actually showed up. We had three tables inside. There was one party of 4 in the back corner. The place was empty. There were a few people outside enjoying the live music. The music was great. Anyway, we brought some of our Somerset wines from home but also ordered beers, pizza and champagne. It's not like we were merely using their facility with no benefit to them. A couple came in and used another inside table. Again, there was still open seating inside. We weren't loud. We were respectful. We spent money. When it came time to cut the cake, we asked to borrow a knife. The female employee's comment was, "We can't lend you a knife. This is why we tell people to bring cupcakes" in a very condescending and rude tone. There was absolutely no excuse for that demeanor. She should have been kind. And as a side note, any time someone from our party walked up to the tasting counter, the employees didn't acknowledge them. A male and female were talking to each other and told us we needed to wait. What kind of customer service is that?? I've read through many of the comments and it sounds like bridal parties and bachelor parties are perfectly acceptable. And we all know how rowdy they can get. But our quiet retirement party did not feel welcomed. Go to Peltzer if you're in the area. Great vibe! Very chill! Amazing Sangrias and slushies.
