I'm not sure it's exactly like riding a bike--but Karen made me feel completely at ease from the start. Kiwi, my horse, was incredibly patient and gentle with me. I swear she knew I needed a little extra TLC! It made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress-free. I even got to do a tiny bit of trotting, which was such a fun bonus. Overall, it was such a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to try horseback riding or get back into it!

5 stars all round…read more This horseback tour is amazing, not only do you get to ride horses through the vineyards you also get a voucher to go next door (Danza Sol winery) and sample 6 wines of your choice. The horseback tour is amazing. You arrive get your paperwork situated and they match you with your horse based off height. All the horses are just so kind. Our tour guy Mark was amazing, talked to us about the venue, the grapevine, took pictures throughout the tour and sent us all the pictures he took as well. Felt safe while riding with our tour guide. The horses do like to sneak in a few pecks off the vines and some more than others...lol but it's manageable. It doesnt look like your high up, but once you saddle up you realize the height, but the more you ride the more comfortable you get on your horse. I loved it. The weather was amazing. All the staff were friendly and professional. Had an over all great ride. We were celebrating my sister birthday and we couldn't have had a better experience and time with our horses and Mark our tour guy. The ride is pretty lengthy but its nice and you get what you pay for. Make sure to bring pants, closed toe shoes and sunglasses. After your ride you can give the horses some cookies, which they love and look forward to it. I enjoyed that part as well. There's only a port-a-potty on sight that I saw. So technically there is a restroom on sight, but we all know how stinky those are. So go before you arrive or the winery next door has restrooms that are much more ample. Definitely worth every penny. Would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy and good time riding as well as some good wine afterwards.

Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to communicate with the coordinator Tracey and set up an appointment, we were completely ghosted with little to no follow-up. Planning a wedding is already stressful, and communication is one of the most important parts of the process. The lack of professionalism and responsiveness ultimately led us to decide not to move forward with this venue. It's disappointing because the property appeared to have potential, but reliable communication and professionalism matter just as much as the venue itself. Hopefully future couples have a better experience. Didn't want to even give it a 1 star rating but had to in order to leave a review.

Everyone was really friendly, and they helped us feel at ease with the horses. I even learned how to tie a lose knot and how to brush my horse. When you get here, the ranch is huge but the directions are really clear about where to go and what to do. When you sign up for the ride they ask you questions about your experience with horses and use that to pair you with the best horse. For those who have none and have never been on a horse this is a great place to start. The staff are really knowledgeable about horses and are great at teaching you how to ride and control the horse. Also, the horses are highly trained for years and years so riding them is very easy and safe. The ranch itself is gorgeous with amazing views!! This event happened about three years ago but I thought I would share my experience. I have quite a…read morebit of experience riding horses, but I hadn't ridden in a while so I decided to go there for a lesson. At the beginning of the lesson the horse they gave me to ride was taken to the round pen to exercise out some of his energy, which I thought was kind of odd. Then I was told to get on the horse. As soon as I swung my leg over the saddle to mount the horse, he started bucking. I ended up behind the saddle sitting on the horse's rump struggling to stay seated but then finally went flying off. I was really surprised that I was given a horse like that because this was the first time I had ever been there. I tried to get on again and the horse tried to buck again. Someone grabbed his head and I was finally able to get on the horse. After that he was fine but I had some massive bruises the next day. I think Green Acres needs to have better trained horses.

We didn't ask for any sort of private tour but that's how it worked out for us. As a horseback tour guide myself, I love a real horsewoman like TJ . She got us all sorted and matched to our horses just as I would've myself and kept the riding tips short, sweet, and funny for my intermediate-experienced friends. (Horse girls are sometimes framed as overbearing and have a tendency to pack an attitude) - but not these instructors. Our guide was Jeff, a real cowboy this guy. Jeff was top tier entertainment and we thank him for taking all the girly photo requests! The horses were all beautiful, loved, and responded so well to our experience levels. Once we got on the shuttle things progressed in a timely fashion, except we had to return to the starting point for our champagne toast. Would have been fun to do in the field. There was more time on the ground than in the balloon. Also noticed that other companies started earlier and were going much higher and lower than we were. The drone following us taking video was extremely annoying. Not the adventure I had hoped for, but enjoyable do do one time.

I always liked the idea of riding a horse but was always afraid I would fall off and break a few…read morebones. Being completely new I needed someone with a TON of patience. I took lessons at a few other places and couldn't seem to find the right person with the right amount of patience for me (yes I'm that difficult) . I finally got in touch with Amy over at Hanover saddle club and she was able to get me started right away even with my difficult schedule. She was so patient with me, and her love and knowledge about horses was far beyond anything I ever knew. First lesson she let me ride cute little domino (princess pony). It was perfect because I was still not comfortable getting on the big horses - still afraid of falling off. Domino was just the right size for me and she is just so adorable. Now that I have become more comfortable with this horsey stuff I bring my daughter and husband with me for lessons and we all go out on the trails and it is absolutely beautiful with the sunset! Now my 9 year old is riding domino, and my husband loves slack. Currently I'm riding jazz- he is a must ride horse! When you visit please tell Amy I sent you to ride jazz you will love him!!!!
