The store opens at 10 and I arrived at about 10:02 - there was a line checking in. There were about a dozen people in front of me. The wait wasn't terrible but was about 30 minutes. The store associate who worked with me was pleasant and knowledgeable. I told her what I was looking for and that I wanted to trade in my old phone. I was given a fair price for the trade-in. The iPhone couldn't be discounted although I did try to negotiate. Not sure if the manager could have done something, but I chose just to move ahead. The process to get the new phone took about 20 minutes. At that point, you are brought to another area where you wait for someone to help you activate the new phone and transfer the contents from your old phone to the new one. I waited about 20 minutes for that store associate to help. The phone needed to update it's operating system, then switch to the transfer process. This took between 30 and 40 minutes. I added a few accessories since I had a 50% off accessories coupon. At that point, the second associate I worked with asked if the first one had gone over my bill with me. No, she hadn't. This associate went through my bill and found a way to save a few dollars a month and add services. I chose not to do it then and got the offer in writing so I could return to the store another time to take them up on it. Overall, the store associates are knowledgeable but vary in the level and quality of service they provide. The waits are too long - especially since some store associates were milling around not helping anyone. That isn't a good look for any business.

My mother uses her land line to talk to all of her friends, the internet to send emails, and she watches the news and her favorite shows on the TV. Without her phone, internet service and the television she is cut off from the community of her friends and the rest of the world. COVID has isolated her enough, however, VERIZON has her COMPLETELY cut off from the rest of the world. She says this problem has happened to her four or five times in the last few years. Certainly sounds like FIOS service in Nj isn't very reliable. She called us this evening absolutely at her wits end, she says she has spent HOURS on the phone calling Verizon and can't has not been able to get her FIOS problem fixed. My mother gave us all of the phone numbers she has used to call Verizon to get tech support. It took my wife 30 minutes just to get onto a waiting queue to get tech support. Hold times are approximately 1hour, wow, Verizon apparently really does have an unreliable system if they have that many people calling for support. As of the time I have gotten to this part of my complaint, my wife has already been on hold for over 30 minutes, with no end in sight. So VERIZON, what does my 85 year-old mother who lives alone, and isn't really tech savvy, need to do to get this problem fixed?

When they told me they did not have what I needed, they did recommend an outside kiosk to remedy my need. This is Service 101. In the short term, this Verizon location did not get my money. But in the long run, they get my future business and possibly business from other people that read this review. And it is service like this that makes me stay with this Verizon.

Tylo was so patient with us over our 2 day ordeal of transferring everything from sprint over to t-mobile. He made countless phone calls to ease our way, made us laugh when we were beyond frustrated and made the whole process feel less aggravating considering the rigamarole of the transfer. Our daughter who is on our plan lives in California and he even called THEIR t-mobile to assist in the transition!
