Took my gravel bike in for a tune up and Hugo did a great job making sure my concerns we addressed (switching from big chainring to little chain ring) and cleaned everything up nicely on the bike making it looks better than new and run smoother too. All while only taking a couple days to do it. I also mentioned to Hugo that I had my race bike built by another shop but felt like everything was done poorly, incorrectly, and had to wait a long time for it to be done. Hugo told me to take it in for him to have a look about what I was concerned about. After taking it in for Hugo to look at and speaking about the issues I decided to have him rebuild the entire bike. Hugo went to work immediately and began the tear down showing me what was done wrong and how the right way of doing it was. It only took him a day to get my bike back up to tip top condition. Rode it the same day and everything felt superb. Had minor adjustments to be made but Hugo fixed them the day after I brought it back and explained that if I had any issues big or small that he would take care of it any time. I also ended up buying a new set of wheels that Hugo put on for me. He not only put them on for me but assured me the wheels would work on my drivetrain and provided his input on how it would be on the bike. I really appreciate everything Hugo and Angelica! You got my bikes running better than new and in no time. It's been a headache with the other shop I went to but Hugo's work and expertise saved the day. 3H has a lifelong customer. I also brought in 2 additional customers (neighbor and brother in law) after they saw the work that was done on my bikes and hearing from my experience. I can't thank Hugo and his family enough for taking care of everything for me.

Explaining my issue, I was told I needed a derailleur adjustment, which would cost x amount of dollars, and I'd have to leave my bike at the shop and I will be called when ready. Knowing Big Wheel Bicycles is just a few blocks away, I thanked the first shop for the estimate and headed to Big Wheel bicycles for their estimate. Soon as I walked into Big Wheel bicycles, I was welcomed and a gentleman heard my issue, told me the issue was shifting gears while stationary, and no repair was necessary. Didn't charge a fee for diagnostics/time or anything! I was soon out the door, and rode the bike around the parking lot to make sure everything was in proper working order. Big Wheel Bicycles just earned a loyal customer. They could've charged for a diagnostic and/or suggested services, a la care dealer service departments, to this bike layperson, but they weren't concerned about racking up a bill for me, which in turn will bring them my future business going forward. I am quite happy with the brief service Big Wheel Bicycles afforded me, and I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a new bike or having their bike serviced.

A few offered, but only if o paid the shipping and processing fees. Looked on Yelp and saw Bellflower Bicycles. I used to frequent this bike shop a lot but it's been years. Heard the owner had passed and it was under new ownership. Not aware of the time, I called at 10:30am and the owner answered (this was surprising because I later realized the store does not open until 11). I asked about the parts I needed and he said "text me pics of what you need and I will pick the items up tomorrow morning before the shop opens and you can pick them up anytime after that". No request to prepay or put down a deposit. Just based on my word, the owner ordered my parts and went to pick them up. Called the following morning and the parts were there. Picked them up during my lunch break and went home to complete my build. Shop was well stocked and the staff were friendly and helpful. I know I only purchased 2 small items, but the owners willingness to go out of his way to please a customer was amazing. Definitely found my new go to spot for all my bike needs. Thank you Vito! I needed my rim aligned which I was told 35 but they charged 45 when I brought it in which is ok but also said it would be done the same day. This is the third day so I stopped by to check out my rim and it was not even touched so I decided to take my rim elsewhere, but I asked the customer outside that just picked up his bike. He said there was 5 customers ahead of him and he was told to wait one hour. If you're a regular, this is a great place but if you're first timer, your money is good as trash.

My boy took my Giant Trance X mountain bike into Pat's 605 Cyclery, and Tristan hooked it up. He did an outstanding job getting my bike ready for the road again. Everything feels dialed in and smooth. An old guy like me appreciates those dual shocks -- makes it feel like I'm riding a Cadillac down the trail instead of getting rattled around in a hoopty. Big appreciation to everyone over there. Tony, Susan, Ian, Eddie -- what a great squad. They said they called but they never left a voicemail. Now my daughter took the bike to UCSB and the brakes were super squeaky and as she was taking it to the campus bike shop, the chain came off the track. That never happened before!!!! EVER!!!! Whatever this bike shop did has rendered the bike useless for my daughter at UCSB over 100 miles away. We now have to pay to get the bike looked at and repaired in Santa Barbara.

He also failed to mention they are not compatible with my pedals. (Which he installed) When I first tried them on, the clip became loose while clipped in. And when you're cycling, clipping out incorrectly could cost you to fall. Which I did and my knee was severely injured. Thanks to his cheap free shoes. Beware of buying shoes from him, it can cost you your knee like it did for me. I went to another bike shop and they told me the shoe/pedal combo were the cheapest low quality they've ever seen

This level of service was greatly appreciated, particularly given the inconvenience that malfunctioning appliances can cause. While not every problem was ultimately fixed, their dedication to addressing the issues was commendable. The timely communication was certainly a positive aspect of their service. I would consider engaging their services again for any future appliance requirements.

Steve was knowledgeable, patient, and very informative when helping me choose the right tint. I especially appreciated how conscientious he was about California tint laws. He explained what would and would not be compliant and helped me get as much privacy as possible on the front driver and passenger windows while staying within the legal requirements. The finished tint looks great, and the front windows are dark enough for the privacy I wanted without going overboard. While I was there, Steve also repaired some curb rash on one of my wheels. It came out great as well. Steve is professional, confident in his work, and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. Excellent workmanship and customer service. I would definitely recommend Elevance and will return in the future.

Wonderful and kind man named Ray came out early to do the assessment broke everything down for me; no pressure and said if I was interested to call the office. I called the office told them I was interested in the treatment and gave 20% deposit to schedule a date. On the day of the actual treatment for termites had two wonderful young men come out to our home, explained everything and we're extremely professional and even covered some of our items in the attic to protect them. They got everything done in a matter of 1-2 hours and off they went. A few weeks later, I spotted some termite droppings. Gave them a call and someone came back out and treated it. No attitude, no fuss and very polite and professional. They said if we have any problems, we have a three-year warranty. Thank you. I will definitely use them again in the future.

He's a very pleasant guy who seems to be a perfectionist about his work. The bike was "new", but had a few dings. He spent a great deal of time perfecting the brakes, the freedom of tire movement, adjusting the crankshaft, and straightening the handlebars. I asked about a display of cell phone holders when he was done. He sold me one of the display models for 25% off and installed it. I took the bike home and rode it for 20 minutes, toward my doctor's goal of 30 minutes three times a week. Before I drop real money on a bike, I want to make sure I'm going to ride it. Today was the first step. This place is super close to my home and i'm glad I got a bike here.
