We used Vincent Appliance Repair 3 times for repair service, and were satisfied. The last time we called them the technician was surly and communication in English seemed unnecessarily difficult. We had a freezer with a door seal problem. He showed my wife the part we should order from Amazon, which we did. When the part arrived we recalled the technician and he said it was not the correct part. By the time the correct part arrived and the technician installed it (well over a week) the motor gave out and the food had spoiled. The guy seemed so indifferent to the fact that there was a time urgency involved in this situation, and hostility to our exasperation that I just had to say goodbye. Basically I paid to have the tech come out and make my appliance worse. I have a vintage old stove top and the tech told me the switch to one of the heating elements was bad and tough to locate since it's old and no longer manufactured. Totally understandable. The solution offered was to send me the part number so that I could look for it myself and if I found one they'd come out and do the repair. The problem was the tech partially broke the switch to one of the other burners and despite my calls I never got a part number to replace the broken switches or any acknowledgment of what happened. I wasn't mad about an accident happening and the previously okay switch being broken. I get it and things happen especially on old stoves. I'd have gladly searched for 2 replacement parts and hired them to come out for the repair once I found them but basically they've ghosted me ever since and never returned my calls. So now I'm left with 2 crappy switches and no part number so that I can locate a new one to fix the stove again. read more

I had a leak in my washer/dryer unit and Vadim did a thorough disassembly and testing to figure out where it was coming from. After determining that there were no mechanical or part problems, he concluded that the leak was caused by the runoff channel being clogged (we just inherited this machine and it had been in storage for a while). UNETHICAL AND DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE. On the consultation appointment that was $80, I was charged for the proposed labor before they actually made a repair. I was also not informed about this charge before it was made. The total for this first appointment was $200 without any repair being made. The suggestion was that they were 'saving me money' because they didn't order a part that was needed for the repair and if I still needed the part I would not be charged again for labor. When I later attempted to schedule the repair because nothing had changed after being charged $200, they refused to schedule. When I complained about the charge without notification they returned $40 so in the end I paid an additional $80 for labor that never happened and that they both refused to return and refused to schedule the actual repair. Highly recommend!! Vadim and his colleague came today to repair my GE ventless combination washer/dryer. There are not many technicians that know how to work on these unique combo washer/dryers but Vadim most definitely knows what he's doing! He listened carefully to my explanation that the machine was taking longer and longer to dry as well as collecting lint on all the clothes and quickly got to work. I have had a different technician come out from another company that told me I needed to replace the blower and timer and wanted to charge almost as much as buying a new machine. Another tech refused to even attempt to fix it because he said combos were too complicated and not worth the time. But Vadim was so knowledgeable and confident and discovered many handfuls of lint clogging the blower and fan. Called Vincent for a small refrigerator that is half wine fridge and half fridge. Sits in my bar area. They sent a technician that could not communicate well in english. First tells me it's not the compressor. After listening to the technician the entire time on the phone with a co-worker or boss, 20 minutes later tells me it is the compressor and a wire issue and will cost $1200. The company sent appointment confirmation, then on Monday, sent an estimated arrival time, which was accurate, and Michael showed on time. He was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, efficient. Not only did he have the right part on hand in the truck, but he was able to install, test, and re-test to make sure all things ran well.
