Delicious and amazing service! I ordered take out and they were super organized. My pizza was ready about 5mins before my given pick up time (about 30mins after I placed the order). I did half margherita and half MRP. Sooo happy I did both! The MRP was really good, with the pesto drizzle getting everywhere when I ate (in the best way)

Heard great things about Vincenzo's and it definitely lived up to the hype. It was absolutely packed when I stopped by, but it was worth the wait. The staff was friendly, kind, and would check in while I was waiting. They've got salads, Stromboli, calzone, hand tossed (thin) pizza and, siciliana (thicker). I truly don't think you can go wrong. I went with a Caesar salad and the Spicy Rosso. Both were delicious, very flavorful. The dining area is a bit limited and loud when there's a lot of people. Will probably get a pie to go next time. Definitely worth checking out for some good pizza!!

Vincenzo's has been on my list since this summer when a friend of mine told me about it, unfortunately I forgot about the place when she moved out of the area. And being I live over on the west side, getting up to Hollywood isn't acutely two minutes away. Now being that my kiddo was in town and we were heading over to Cosmic Monkey Comics right across the street, I remember the pizza place I wanted to try and we turned it into dinner with the kiddo and my brother with a trip to the comic book store for manga that my daughter wanted. It was Saturday night and Vincenzo's was busy. They offer both Neapolitan and Sicilian pizza. There isn't many places that do Sicilian but we didn't get that on this occasion. They do have the option of doing split pies(Neapolitan only) and so we went with a margharita and MRP (mortadella, ricotta and pistachio pesto) pizza along with a Caesar salad. It took a little time to get the food, but it was worth the wait. The Caesar salad was pretty good with a twist, almond slivers on top. We got one and was able to split it three ways and we all had a decent amount and plenty of room for pizza. The margharita side had a really amazing red sauce that stood out and enough cheese. Very minimal on the basil but it was still pretty good. The crust though, it was crispy and chewy and definitely a reason to try some of the other thin crust pies. The MRP side was unique and really great. The nuttiness of the pesto, the saltiness of the mortadella and the creaminess of the ricotta all worked well together. Every table had people at them and the staff was very accommodating to everyone. They were non stop. Vincenzo's has wine, beer and non alcoholic options and I know I want to go back and get some sfincione (Sicilian pizza with breadcrumbs and anchovy oil and no cheese). All and all, I want to go back soon and try more. As always, support local and enjoy.

This place had the most delicious Italian almond cookies that I had ever tasted. They were about $2 each but so delicious that I went home, searched the internet and had to duplicate them. I am so grateful for the introduction. That being said, we came here when family was in town and had their delicious pizza and wines. Ok I don't actually drink but the girls enjoyed the wine. We had a Sicilian deep dish veggie pizza, a pepperoni pizza and I think one with basil and mozzorella they were all delicious. My favorite was the Sicilian deep dish of course because the more carbs the better, right?!? It was a lovely lil gem that I never even knew about in the neighborhood as it is slightly hidden from Sandy. They even have small Italian canned good for sale and some italian sodas. I can't recall the name but there was a bitter citrus flavor that was definitely different and interesting. If you are in the hood - totally check them out!!

Anyone that knows my reviews also knows I love pizza, so I had to try Vincenzo's to see if the hype was real. I'll start by saying this was probably my favorite cheese slice in Portland, it was simple, balanced, and (most importantly) tasty! The service was fast and friendly, and the vibe was that of a wonderful little neighborhood pizza/pasta spot. For the food besides the cheese slice, I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the white pie, but I am curious to try their Sicilian pizza and pastas in future visits. Below is my review per slice: 5/5 - Cheese: a wonderful balance of sauce, dough, and cheese. I loved how the flavor of their sauce shined through in each cheesy bite. If you're looking for a good cheese pizza in Portland, this is the spot! 3/5 - White Pie: an olive oil base, shredded mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, oregano, and parsley. I liked that the flavors of the garlic and ricotta shined through, but it just didn't have a wow factor or a true uniqueness one might expect from a white pie.

We tried the Elena pizza and build-your-own stromboli. Both were nothing short of delicious. If we weren't commuting from an hour away, Vincenzo's would be our monthly pizza place. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

Ordered from this spot on DoorDash due to the great reviews. Portion sizes are huge so that's a plus but I didn't find any other positives. We ordered the Sugo, cheesy bread and Nutella olive oil cake slice. The Sugo pizza had good flavor but the cheese under the toppings wasn't even melted. Also I'm fully aware of Sicilian pizza but the ratio of bread to sauce, cheese and toppings was way off so the pizza somehow tasted dry. Huge improvement after I warmed it up for 30 seconds but it still just didn't taste right. Cheesy bread lacked a lot of taste and was delivered cold. The marinara sauce that they provided was a joke too. Huge portion of cheesy bread with one tiny little marinara sauce container. The Nutella Olive Oil cake was the disappointment of the night. It tasted like a cake mix that just used olive oil instead of butter or vegetable oil. We ended up just tossing it out after a bite. All in all, a very subpar experience for dropping $40.

Additional goodies and sweets to compliment pizzas.

Portland is a city renowned for their pizzas. Vincenzo's isn't just another pizza place to the list, it adds unique qualities to the pizza game, which is very difficult to do in this city. The owners of small businesses in Portland are of their own kind, and of course, Vincenzo's is no different in that regard. They are friendly and passionate about their business. The Pizza itself is priced very well, and is much cheaper than other Sicilian options in the area. There are unique combinations you can only find here. The food itself is great. We had the Sicilian Sugo, and the pizza dough was cooked to perfection. It was still delicious the day after, and while very filling, it didn't feel too heavy. Definitely recommend swinging by and giving this place a try when you get the chance! I can't promise it'll be your favorite pizza place in Portland, but it will likely make it into your rotation of choices!

Wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Vincenzo's is one of my newest and BEST Yelp gems! We're staying in Portland for the weekend and I'm scanning restaurants in the area and Vincenzo's pops up. After driving 9 hours, I'm not in the mood for another burger or taco. I've been raised on Italian/Sicilian food and so has my hubby, so we are very critical on sauce. It's all about the sauce in my family. I read the reviews on Vincenzo's and hubs was a bit skeptical only because the last few Italian places have been flops. I wanted to take a gamble and try Vincenzo's. Damn! They didn't disappoint! We ordered: Slice of cheese pizza Mixed green salad Sunday sauce Two glasses of red wine We dined in and ordered at the counter. They will come to your table if you please, but we knew what we wanted so we ordered and sat at an open table. Everything we ordered was absolutely divine! The Sunday Sauce was just as good or better than my Nonna's or I have learned to make. It had our stamp of approval! The cheese pizza on thin crust was a perfect appetizer before our meal. Again, you can taste and smell that delicious sauce! Our salad was light and refreshing with green olives and arugula. Our server/cashier was so attentive and friendly, she really made our visit enjoyable. She was so cute, giving us a wave when we left! It was a very warm welcoming start to our Portland weekend! Thank you Vincenzo's!!

Now that's a pie! Vincenzo means business. Small, but sidewalk sitting, and also excellent for that special surprise dinner at home. You will not be disappointed. No hip small pizza, just Italian and Sicilian goodness with fresh toppings. Pistachio Pesto! Quick and no bs service. They have a little Italian food shop and fab bevs too.

New York and Chicago are still trying to catch up. But we are in the Pacific Northwest, nowhere near Loui's Pizza or Buddy's Pizza (Detroit pizza staples). So many times, what tries to pass off as "Detroit style" falls miles short. Then came "Ranch" where I stood outside and screwed up enough courage to try yet another Detroit style pizza. The interior was small, one wall lined with tomato sauce cans, the menu was bolted to a wall. The smell took me back and that gave me some hope. The pizza arrived at the table, the wife and I have varied tastes so we each ordered a quarter pizza. Mine was pepperoni, the wife had a veggie. The pizzas looked right, square, caramelized crispy edges, heavy toppings... and then on the side of the plate was this cup of ranch dressing. Duh! "Ranch" obviously has to have a good ranch, right? I dipped my pinky finger in the ranch and took a taste. You would not think one ranch can be so far ahead of the others, but ranch is the place for ranch, as well as pizza. My first bite brought a smile to my face, it was just, right in every way that a Detroit pie should be. I have been back to try their #4 pie with sausage and ricotta, and I am looking forward to more trips. If all that was not enough, the service was friendly, the food came out so quick (about 10 minutes) and the place was nice and clean.

I enjoy wood-fired pizza and don't mind a little char, but somehow this pizza tasted noticeably bitter despite having very little visible charring. Whether it was the lack of sauce, the sauce itself being quite bland, or simply an imbalance of flavors, the end result just wasn't pleasant. The biggest issue is the value. A $25 cheese pizza doesn't need to be life-changing, but it should at least taste better than Costco's. In this case, unfortunately, it didn't. The cheese and toppings tasted fresh, and I especially appreciated that they offer half slices, which made it easy for my husband and me to try a few different varieties without committing to full slices. That said, I think my expectations may have been a little too high going in. The pizza was definitely good, but I wasn't quite blown away the way I expected to be based on all the hype. For me, the cheese were the weakest part--wasn't bad by any means, but it didn't stand out compared to some of the other pizza spots we've visited around the country.
