I've been ordering from this Vincenzos for approximately 8 years now since we moved to the neighborhood, it's always been my go to pizza delivery. I called today to get a delivery, asked for the special, which is what we always order, and I ALWAYS ask for one half no meat, my wife doesn't eat meat, it's NEVER been a problem until today! Was told by some very arrogant and rude person I cannot make any changes to the special, I tried to explain to her that it's never been a problem and was cut off and told no exceptions, I asked to talk to the manager and she said Mike cannot come to the phone and that he doesn't care what's happened before and that I should have a nice day!?!? Really? I will never order from them again, great pizza, terrible terrible customer service with no accountability! Would post no stars but it won't let me. Will let my friends in the neighborhood know also about their horrible customer service and so called manager Would also like to address the response from the owner. Not sure what is confusing for you, I always ask for no meat on 1 half, mmm not sure how this is confusing?!? But you have terrible customer service and then you want to disparage me the customer. No wonder your customer service is so bad, it starts with you. As far as being here for a delivery, there was literally one time I stepped out to get money from the atm, because I realized I didn't have enough cash. Horrible customer service and the manager was very rude. Waited an hour for delivery. Called to see what our status was. The order was sitting there. They offered to deliver the same pizza that had been sitting there in an HOUR!! We asked for a new order, which they denied, we then asked for a discount which was also denied. First time ordering delivery: I tried ordering from them today but they were charging for delivery a large combination w/ jalapeño for $46. With tip, that's $50 for a single combination pizza!!! When i asked why the pizza costed so much they answered the delivery fee was $3.50 since i was in Canyon Country. That means the pizza itself is $42.50. That is absurd!!! For a place I have spent quite a bit of money with them being a bit pricy, I am very disappointed with them. They got a delivery wrong one night. Instead of delivering what I ordered, I got a pizza that looked hours old. I called them to let them know, and the reply was that they were aware of the mix up (gee, they could have let me in on it) I guess they felt I would just deal with it. Long story short, I had a choice of a full refund or 10 percent off my next order. That was a no brainer. I chose the refund because I didn't know when I'd order from them next. And I knew I wasn't going to eat the stale pizza they sent me. Well this was nearly a month ago and no credit back on my card. Still waiting on that credit. Over the years we have been a continuous customer. On Saturday 14 January 2023 I picked up a Calzone and wings. The chicken was gooey, one bite, I spit it out and threw it in the trash. Bummer but no worries I had my favorite calzone, nope, it appears they forgot the cheese and doubled up on the red sauce. Gave them a little leeway and waited an hour and 30 minutes, then called and was told by some snotty teenager that the driver was in a car accident and they had to bring the pizza back to the store to have somebody else bring it to us. Was told it would only be another 10 more minutes. 30 minutes later we called again, same snotty teenager answered the phone so we cancelled the order. Horrible customer service, absolutely pathetic. Hands down my fav pizza in the SCV at this time... the only reason why I don't order it often is because the prices are high. But it truly is worth it. A large will go for $30. I'm from the east coast and it's damn near impossible to get NY style in Santa Clarita. Every time someone gives me advice it ends up being pretty dull (and I have tried almost every pizza place here.. yes, even Toppers). That being said, Vincenzo's is pretty darn good for Santa Clairta. A hearty amount of fresh mozzarella, savory sauce and ingredients. My only complaint -- calm it on the crust. I swear each time I go the crust gets bigger and is just too much dough to eat. It also makes it impossible to store as leftovers because the weight from the crust cause the slices to split in half. read more

Wish they had a no star. After many years of being a customer here, it took one bad delivery and a snotty manger to stop me from walking in this place again. We a ordered a pizza an hour ahead of time to my place of work where we only get 1/2 hour for lunch. Pizza never showed up and whoever wrote down our phone number on their end wrote it wrong. Not only did 3 of us not get dinner and missed our lunch, but the manager said she'd only give us a $15 credit the next time we ordered. I asked her why the pizza man never showed up, she told me she had no way to get a hold of him. Funny how he used a cell phone to dial a wrong number but she couldn't call him back to send our pizza! So very sad that one of our favorite pizza places for the past 20 years has decided to choose who they deliver to. We have ordered and received pizza from the Saugus location since we moved to Santa Clarita 20 years ago. When I tried to place an order a few weeks ago they told me they didn't deliver to my house. I explained that I was holding a menu that was attached to the pizza box they had delivered previously. They just kept saying the driver says he doesn't deliver there. I asked to speak to the manager which he replied that he was, so then I asked to speak to the driver. After waiting a few minutes a girl came on the line to say she spoke to the driver and they don't deliver to my house. I again asked if they had changed their route and she just kept repeating the same thing. She also said that sometimes if they aren't busy they will deliver out of their way. For 20 years?? Not this time crust wasters! Gargantuan in size. Lustful in taste. Seriously, it's like once you slice, you'll go back trice (or something like that). The crust is so moist that it is a meal all on its own, and it would totally win in a staring contest, until you bit the shit out of it. We've been going to Vincenzo's since it was across the street and it had that quaint, ma & pa dive feel to it. Tables were everywhere, none of them the same size, busted up chairs, video machines (which the kids love), and empty peanut shells on the concrete floor. Now it's much larger, way nicer and all the tables match, but everything else feels the same. The pizza - in my opinion it's the best pizza in the SCV. As other Yelpers have mentioned, you could eat just the crust and be happy. It's like you buy the crust, which is kind of like fluffy, flakey, garlic bread, and the pizza in the center is an added bonus. The price - as also mentioned by other Yelpers, Vincenzo's is way more expensive than other pizzerias. Vincenzo's small with 1 topping is around 16 bucks. That's almost twice the price of Ameci's (at the same size). Vincenzo's is a better pizza - way heavier, way more flavor, and there's that crust - but twice the price? The size - Be warned that Vincenzo's sizes are WAY off. Vincenzo's small (13") is Ameci's large (14"). Sometimes I forget and order the Vincenzo's large and then I'm pissed later because the box doesn't fit into the frig. (Next day cold pizza is the best!) Bottom line: Best pizza in the SCV, fun atmosphere for the kids (bring quarters), but high prices. We don't get Vincenzo's all the time, but when we do, we love it. read more

As someone who lived in Santa Clarita Valley for almost ten years, Vincenzo's Pizza was the absolute go-to for me and my family. We would usually go at least half a dozen times a year, but it became tradition for us to visit after spending time at the local Lombardi Ranch to buy pumpkins for Halloween. Now that I've moved to the San Gabriel Valley, there still isn't anything quite like Vincenzo's. It's the crust man, it's the crust!!! LOVE THE CRUST. Perfect, airy, and with a hint of garlicky goodness. I would be so happy just to have one now. Anyways, I usually get the pepperoni. We've also gotten the pineapple/ham, and sausage. All of them were fantastic. Now the restaurant is not fancy by any means. It's just a great, dressed down place to get together with friends and family and watch the game on the big screen tvs that are all around the walls. Every seat in the place has a good view. Plus its got the barrels of roasted peanuts that you scoop up in baskets and eat handfuls of while tossing the shells all over. If you have young kids, be prepared. There's a small arcade area the kids love trying their hand at claw games and stuff. I wish I could tell you about the sides, but I haven't tried any. It was New Year's eve, the champagne had been opened early, and I was already beginning to feel it's bubbly effects. So, I decided that walking to dinner would be best. Schoolteacher informed me my local options were Pizza, Thai, Indian or Mexican, and I opted for Pizza. Pizza is always good, so I chose Pizza for dinner. A short stroll later, Schoolteacher and I arrived at Vincenzo's Pizza. The place was quite empty. Schoolteacher and I had the whole place to ourselves as we entered. A lady leaned on the counter, busy working on something. When she saw us, she straightened herself up and asked for our order. I had been given instructions, and I relayed them. 'I'd like a medium Pepperoni Pizza please.' She inquired if we'd like the special, and pointed to the nearby board that had 'Mushroom & Sausage Medium for $20' written on it. I shook my head, and just opted for the one Pizza, plus a pair of beverages. BAM! Thirty dollars for a medium one topping pizza and two beverages. That's kinda steep...dontcha think? The special was only $20! What gives? This better be some damn tasty Pizza. Bewildered, I took the number and cups back to Schoolteacher, who had acquired one of the several empty tables. The place had peanuts on several tables, and peanut shells all over the floor. I guess it's one of those places. There were peanuts at some tables, and peanuts absent from some tables. We happened to sit at a no-peanuts table. I was okay without them, but pick one way or the other folks. Keep it uniform. It was at this point my bladder started vying for my attention. I acknowledged it's presence and decided to work to empty it. I looked for the bathroom and found it easily. I opened the door and was quickly greeted by an unpleasant aroma as I crossed the threshold. Upon entry, I also noticed that for an eatery, the toilet was quite filthy. I did my best to not touch anything without a paper towel, quickly relieved myself and washed my hands before leaving. This bathroom was definitely not as clean as I'd come to expect from restaurants. At that point the Pizza had arrived. To be honest, it didn't look all that spectacular. I took a slice and gave it a shot, it was just within ok levels. Honestly, I've had far less expensive pizzas taste far superior to this one. A basketball game played on a TV above us, we watched it as we ate & discussed our lives. After a slice or two, I was quite full, and we went back for a box to take the remainder home. A box was given, we packed up our pizza and exited the place. I'd been intrigued by this place ever since having seen it several months ago. There are very few reviews for this place.... You wonder why? Probably because it's a neighborhood thing and most people in this area, including after sports athletes don't Yelp. Let's clear the air about this place. I've lived off Plum Canyon for many, many years and there's no doubt that Vincenzo's is a popular place for some, especially locals. However, It's popular because of their residential housing location. Sure it's huge inside and there are free, not always fresh peanuts and long tables but that is where it almost ends. Just like the other Yelper's say, It's not a bang for the buck place. It's way over priced for the pizza you get and the pizza is anywhere average. There are few options on the menu and they should be ashamed of themselves to charge that much for pizza. Customer - Gouge Gouge Gouge........Owners - smiles, smiles, smiles. When Vincenzo's ventured out in SCV many years ago, they realized there's too much competition and they cut back. I know my ratings won't make a difference with Vincenzo's but they do NO justice for the neighborhood locals who eat here. Sure, locals pay but Vincenzo's have nothing exceptional to offer for what they charge. There are way more options now in the SCV over the years that are as good, if not better and cheaper. And BTW, Vincenzo's, for the money that you make, please get a few HD TV's for your sports fans who are most of your fans/customers, those energy guzzling tube TV's are just so outdated. read more

The BEST pizza in the SCV & ANYWHERE!!! Now that I no longer live in/frequently visit the area, I sadly only have this fabulous pizza once in a blue moon. I have driven a large pizza home with me 5 hours to San Jose! It is just that good. The prices are a bit high, but you definitely get what you pay for. Vincenzo's is generous with the toppings, unlike other pizza joints that cheap on them & consider 1 olive slice every two inches "toppings." Their ingredients are fresh, & applied with a heavy hand! My favorite is the vegetarian pizza. Their crust is delicious. Thick, fluffy, & a perfect taste. I have eaten pizza up & down the state & even on the east coast & nothing compares to Vincenzo's!!! I was very disappointed in the food here. The "garlic bread" was really white bread toasted with melted mozz cheese on it. Typically, garlic bread is made with Italian bread. A calzone is supposed to be made with ricotta cheese. The calzone I got from here was filled with mozzarella cheese and sauce. What more could you ask for outside New York, Chicago, or Italy itself? My favorite part of a Vincenzo's pizza is the dough. It's perfect: not dry or overworked like most other pizzas at its price, and I didn't taste a hint of the dough conditioner you'll find at the big chains. Though a Vincenzo's pizza is more expensive than whatever deal Domino's currently offers on its website, it's well worth it (though the lunch special is an excellent deal). The sauce is heavier on oregano and garlic than you may be used to; if that's not your thing, Vincenzo's may not be for you. I found the sauce to be a slightly strong yet excellent balance of flavors. We enjoyed several Vincenzo's pizzas after a long day of helping some friends move. Most of us are from Simi Valley, and we appreciated this taste of home, just minutes from our friends' new place in Canyon Country. (My fiancee is from Simi, and we used to live across the street from the now-closed Chatsworth location.) read more

Always on the hunt for a good pizza joint, against my better judgement I got dragged to this "sports team" filthy pizza joint. I really have a thing against restaurants that throw their peanut shells on the floor to begin with. The place was full of dirty tables, drunk softball teams and no atmosphere whatsover. The pizza was on par with Chuck e Cheese. Thick tomato-paste like sauce that was 1/4 inch thick and tasted like crap, cheese that had no flavor at all and mediocre peperoni. I really wish that I had used a coupon because for a small one topping pizza, a small salad and two small drinks the bill came to almost $26...a total rip. I don't recommend this place at all. However...if you dig thick, tasteless crust, bland cheese and a canned thick horrible tomato paste sauce you will probably like this place, I on the other hand will not be back. read more
