I actually had to walk out at one point because my ears felt like they were going to explode. I know they had a sound guy there, but the place is SO small, maybe not the best venue for a punk band. Ha! The barback here was so well dressed and sweet. Bartender was quick and friendly. Cocktails and wine selections are very meh, but I had a whiskey and that worked out for me. Lots of high top tables, a decent amount of seats at the bar, and a pool table. There is also a small patio if you want to hang outside. The Maui Sugar Mill is in a strip mall, so plenty of parking available!

Most people contribute to a pot luck feast that spans the wide world of food, from hot dogs and chili to baked ziti, tacos, meatballs, fried chicken, Chinese food, and on and on -- including some amazing homemade clam chowder from Mike The Mailman. Bartender Natalie did an amazing job of handling the busy crowd with speed and smiles. There were a couple of other staffers on site to watch the game, and they jumped in when she needed a hand with this or that, but for the most part Natalie captained the bar single-handedly for the duration. Kudos to her. It's true, Super Bowl only comes once a year, so other game days don't have the pot luck feast -- Sugar Mill doesn't have a kitchen, though they're happy to have you bring in whatever food you like and eat it there. Food aside, the crowd and the service are always just what you want, making it the perfect place to relax into at game time as Basketball enters the home stretch and baseball steps up to bat.

I got lucky with one on the corner but my friend had to park blocks down. Now i don't want to say she was being rude for the sake of it. It could be cause she's the only bartender handling a whole restaurant with no help and getting frustrated. One one occasion ordering with 2 other people who got food and drinks i said oh no drinks for me. And she took that as no food and started going to take someone else's order until i said hey i want food and she acted like i was holding her up from taking the other persons order telling them to be patient as if she needs to get over there. Never got my glass of water she was supposed to bring until i went back to the bar and paid for bottled water. Anytime i went to the bar i felt like i was burdening her lol. When i went back to order a burger after only ordering a salad prior i could only hope she wasn't mad that i was back up there. Karaoke on Thursdays happen here. A pool table. I hadn't been here in 2 yrs and would probably only come back knowing what to expect service wise

Meu Deus... que comida maravilhosa! Aqui a fome entra, mas não sai viva!…read more Translation: "My God... what amazing food! Hunger walks in here, but it doesn't make it out alive!" Kravings Fusion in Tarzana gave us way more than dinner last night -- it was basically a mini trip to Brazil without having to explain anything to TSA. The rodízio-style service was on point. The meats and proteins just kept coming around like they had a personal mission to make sure nobody left hungry. We had juicy sirloin, ribeye, salmon, beautifully prepared wrapped steaks, chicken, and more coming straight to the table. Every time I thought, "Alright, I'm done," another server would walk by holding something sizzling and suddenly my stomach found a new storage compartment. The ribeye was rich and flavorful, the sirloin was tender, the chicken was juicy, and I really appreciated the salmon being in the rotation too. It gave me the opportunity to pretend I was making healthy decisions in between several rounds of steak. And then Kravings decided FOOD WASN'T ENOUGH. Two Brazilian dancers came out and put on a full-on Rio Carnaval-style show with the costumes, music, dancing, energy and all. The whole restaurant came alive. For a minute there I forgot I was sitting in Tarzana and started wondering when the parade float was coming through. Great food, fun atmosphere, nonstop rodízio meats, fantastic entertainment and an experience that actually feels like a night out instead of just another dinner. Come hungry. Wear stretchy pants. And when someone asks if you want more meat... The answer is SIM! Kravings Fusion definitely lived up to the name , because now I'm Kraving it again.

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday for a quick drink before a movie, and the "vibe" was non-existent. They have four TVs at the bar, but the setup was bizarre, two were completely off and another was just frozen on a directory logo. The biggest issue, however, is the cleanliness--or lack thereof. The place is incredibly dirty. It feels like it hasn't had a deep clean in weeks, maybe longer. The bar top was disgusting, the floors were grimy, and even the woodwork looked like it hadn't seen a rag since opening day. They are charging $17 for "signature cocktails," which is bold for a spot that feels like a neglected dive bar. If you're going to charge premium prices, you have to at least wipe down the countertops. Service-wise, the bartender was friendly enough but low energy and minimal level of service. To make matters worse, a shift change happened while we were there, and the departing bartender made us close out our check and start a brand-new one with the next person. Why should the staff's administrative hand-off be the customer's issue? It's just unprofessional. The Valley has so many actual dive bars with character and plenty of high-end spots for a great cocktail; I'm not sure where this place is trying to fit in. It feels like someone bought it and just stopped caring. We won't be back.

Came in last night to celebrate a friend's birthday (they have happy hour all day Mon-Wed) and was pleasantly surprised. My friends started off ordering the HH guava margaritas, which they enjoyed. The steak a little well done for my liking. Enchiladas verde: 9/10 great portion honestly enough for two to share. Rice and beans were okay. Beans a bit salty and rice was a bit bland. Luckily he wasn't there too long, as brunch-time was over. We ordered Mango margaritas, chips & salsa, birria tacos, tinga taquitos, elote, and chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Every single thing was delicious. I was highly impressed. This place will definitely be in the rotation. If I didn't live so far away, I would go for happy hour.
