I have used them for years in several houses & recently recommended them to my mother in law in Encinitas who had them do her whole house after a renovation. She is also super pleased. Terry is very knowledgeable and she is super pleasant. Their service is off the charts good: they have repaired shades for us n/c where it was clearly our fault (as in our cat chewed the cords off our honeycombs!). Am I saying you should call if you have a shade that needs repair and expect it free? No, of course not! But I am saying that, in my experience, if you establish yourself as a "regular" customer, they will go out of their way to take care of you. You will never want to go anywhere else because they surprise you with gifts of generosity with what they will do for you. The above experience with the cat is just one of several experiences I've had where they exceeded my expectations. The quality of their product is very good. A contractor convinced me to let him put up some big box blinds in an area and they are breaking and messed up after just a few years. A waste of money. Overall, I'd go with Vineyard if you want quality that will last, an old fashioned family-run company that makes sure you are satisfied (and then some!), and prices that are competitive without the high pressure that 3-Day & some of the other chains employ..... read more

Awful rude service from Terry. There was no reason for that kind of attitude upon introduction. No greeting and seemed annoyed at the request of wearing shoe covers to enter our new home. She even coughed several times as if sick. She told my mom that she wasn't even supposed to work that day but still bothered to show up with a stink attitude. TBH, made us feel very uncomfortable for her lack of interest in being there. To be more obvious, she didn't even follow up. My 6 year old daughter even mentioned how she didn't even say hi to her. She didn't even acknowledge my special needs nephew in his wheelchair. Don't know how she even works in a customer service position. I upgraded my review from a 1 star to 3 stars solely because the owner reached out to resolve the issue. He listened with genuine empathy and understanding. He provided several options and recommendations for the 10+ windows we needed covered in our new build home and didn't want to leave without our business and an installation apportionment in place so we ended up placing the order the same day. I'm very happy with these pull down shades from Vineyard Blinds! We have big windows that look out into our backyard. We wanted something that was easy to open and close, and that gave us a full view when open (unlike shutters, for instance). These are perfect! This is our second time using Vineyard Blinds, because we were very pleased the first time we used them. Their price quote was the best, too. There were some issues with the installers who first came out and the job couldn't get completed. Fortunately, Randy made it a priority to come out to assess the problem and he made it right. The fix meant having to make some adjustments to the corner units because of the tight fit. Randy personally did the install this time to make sure everything was done right. And it was! Randy's expertise and customer service made all the difference, making this a definite five star review. read more

I called Vineyard Blind and Shutter, Inc and set up an appointment on 6/23/25. Randy, the Sales Manager came to our home and measured 19 windows for 2" Brite White Faux BlInds with Royale Valances Cordless Wands. The young lady that took my call was very friendly and professional. Randy was amazing, very friendly, very professional and very detail oriented. On 7/8/25, Lucas and Shaq, their installers, came and once again did an amazing job installing all of the blinds to perfection. Very courteous and professional !!!!! Today I had the remaining shutters installed in all three of my bedrooms by Jon and Francisco. These two installers were fast and and extremely knowledgeable. They removed my old curtains and folded them neatly and collected all the hardware into a bag. They caulked the holes from the old screw holes were. They vacuumed the area under the windows and adjusted the shutters including the shutters I had previously bought from Vineyard. These gentlemen performed extremely professional work. Very happy. From the initial quote to the installation, everything went smoothly. The initial quotation was done within 2 days of my initial call. The representative was attentive, gave good suggestions and didn't try to 'upsell' me. Her suggestions helped us choose the perfect blinds, both in style and color. We were told the turnaround time for the blinds to be completed was 10-15 business days and it was less than 10 business days for them to arrive. 5 years ago we had a small amount of shutters installed in our old house. Back then we decided to go with vineyard because the price was insanely lower. After living in our house for 5 years, we loved our shutters and never had issues with them. After moving, we knew we would be going back to Vineyard. Peter helped with the beginning setup now and 5 years ago. He provided us with our options for the vertical blinds, faux wood blinds and shutters, bringing with him samples. Our house is now a 2 story so upstairs we had 2" faux wood cordless blinds to replace 23 year old blinds and 2 sets of vertical blinds for our sliding doors. The turn around time for those was quick. Lucas and Shaq came in to install the blinds. Everything went smooth and we are happy with the outcome! Shutters take a little longer because they need to be made to fit your window size. We just had ours come in yesterday. Jon came in to install. He was on time, worked quietly and was done within an 1.5 hrs. They look amazing. We are sooooo happy with them. They are gorgeous and change the look of the house so much! We would definitely recommend Vineyard blind and shutters to anyone looking for window coverings! read more

We recently got a new build and were immediately aware of our need for blinds for privacy purposes. We did some shopping around and came across Vineyard Blind & Shutter and are beyond happy with our experience. We set up an appointment and were immediately contacted by Kayle. He was kind, friendly, and very efficient. He gave us updates on the time he'd arrive and he was quick to get us multiple quotes depending on what we wanted so we could go with the best option in our budget. He also provided us with samples and his own recommendations based on both cost and effectiveness. After that, we were able to get an appointment for installation set up. We booked installation 2 weeks later to have it done on the weekend, so we appreciated them being flexible with our own schedule. Our installers were Andre and Shaq, both of whom were very kind, cordial, and efficient. They were able to set up the blinds very quickly and double checked that we were okay with them going into rooms before doing so. The whole process was done in less than 20 minutes. Our blinds are beautiful, effective, and easy to handle. I remember growing up with blinds that are hard to maneuver, but the ones we have are very simple. The only small complaint was there was one of our blinds that didn't have the top mounted after they left, but everything was already installed. It was quick and easy for us to latch it on and hear the click. The service was quick, efficient, and affordable.
