I've lived here for about six months, and the experience has gone downhill fast since the management change. The biggest issue is how aggressively they've started charging for everything. Parking, which should be a basic part of living here, is no longer simple or accessible--you now have to pay extra monthly just to have a guaranteed spot. On top of that, it feels like they look for any small opportunity to add additional charges, which makes living here feel more like a constant upsell than a stable place to live. Communication is another major problem. When you're touring, the front office staff is extremely attentive and responsive. Once you sign your lease, that completely changes. Responses become slow or nonexistent, and when you do get help, the tone is often dismissive or unhelpful. For the price, the value just isn't there anymore. Between the added fees, lack of transparency, and poor communication, it's hard to justify staying here. If you're considering this complex, I would strongly recommend comparing other options in the Temecula area that offer better management and more straightforward pricing. read more

Nice amenities, (mostly) friendly and professional staff, but since the property recently changed management (AIR Communities), "things are going downhill" as one worker who lives on property stated. Charging for any/all parking, no valet trash option, and stricter guidelines for garage use. Even the staff who live on property admitted to the negative changes. The rent is also very expensive for the area. Moving out is also a headache as they will over charge you for move out costs such as unnecessary "full paint jobs" when only touch ups are needed. I have lived here for a few years now and my experience has been fantastic. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I recently had a flood in my kitchen and the maintenance crew was here addressing the situation in minutes. Servepro was called out and the situation was handled very well. BAIT AND SWITCH Put in an application and holding deposit, just to be told after all of that that the actual rate was $400 more per month than what they had listed on their website, Zillow, rent.com, apartments.com, apartmentlist.com, apartmentfinder.com, hotpads, padmapper.... I could keep on going, but I'm sure you get the point. Apparently you have to be psychic to know what their actual rates are because the employees won't tell you that the actual rate doesn't match the rate advertised everywhere else until after you've gone thru the motions to reserve the unit. To get even sketchier, the employee told us that they advertise on Craigslist when we brought the holding deposit in and then found out that the rental rate was different, so we went and checked Craigslist which was the only place that had the actual rental rate, they posted the Craigslist ad after our application was already turned in. Today the apartment is back up for the bait price just waiting for another victim to be blind sided by the real rental rate. What a scam! When confronted they took no responsibility and just said someone else will rent it for the higher price. RIDICULOUSLY terrible customer service and bad business practices. read more

Be careful! Take pictures at move out time. Still waiting to resolve money charged for cleaning. Don't think I should have to pay for "painting" when I was only there 9 months and literally had 2 pinpricks in the wall. We cleaned entire apartment top to bottom (except fan) and I still didn't mind being charged $165 for cleaning. But, I draw the line at also being charged $185 for painting. I have called multiple times...left messages multiple times...emailed more times than I can count. There is simply no response. I think they think I will just "forget and move on." :) Overall I did enjoy the apartment although the noise factor from the apartment above me (constant stomping) was excessive at times. Weird "personal" response from front office when I called to address. Facilities are beautiful but hardly got to use due to covid and also due to the strange set-up in the main front office. It is beautiful but doubles as their office so you are not allowed to rent out the area for use at any time. Why bother having it then??? Note: If you are disabled in any way there are little to no accomodations present. I spent the first few months on crutches and crutched up and down the stairs every day. Loved my double balcony and also the nice colors and decor in the apartment. Expensive upscale option in Temecula. read more

I love the Vineyards at Paseo Del Sol. I lived here around 4 years ago and loved every minute of it. Classy neighbors, clean and quiet. Staff always took care of me. I locked my apartment keys in my garage multiple times and they brought me spare keys without being annoyed and always with a smile. Noreen and the staff is great. I submitted a few maintenance requests and all were solved within a day or two. I read some of the reviews and am not sure if people are mistaking this for somewhere else, or are just annoyed that they have to pay fees for cleaning due to negligence, but I have never had any issues here. The pricing is amazing. Obviously in 2021 and in California every single property is over priced. Even sheds are going for $1000 plus. I have toured over 7 apartments and lived in 3 of them in my life in Temecula and Vineyards are by far the absolute best quality and best maintained. These apartments are actually cheaper than others and are 30 years newer. Only apartments that are even remotely cheaper are from the 80's with 80's appliances and carpet. I have had a few friends together and played music at a medium volume and knocked on my neighbors door and they couldn't hear a single sound. I heard my upstairs neighbors walk 4 times in the 11 months I lived there. Yes, so few that I could count on one hand. These apartments are LEED certified so everything in them keeps them extremely quiet for efficiency reasons. The amenities are great. I have used the Gym, Yoga studio, movie room, and pool/BBQ and it's all awesome. The Jacuzzi was always heated, clean and ready to go. Never dirty or cluttered. I have seen security multiple times a day and never have seen any homeless people walking around. Residents seem to keep a good eye on things as we are all neighbors. The appliances are stainless steel, people said they are the lowest end, they are gas and work just fine. The washer and dryer are nice and all appliances work the first time. I have had no issues with Parking. I have tried to park around 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm as well as other times in the day and there has always been a sufficient amount of parking. I was so satisfied that I am now moving back almost 4 years later and the process has been great! Thanks Noreen! read more

Great on the outside, horrible on the inside. I have been here for a couple years and I have had to call the cops numerous times on suspicious activity. Drug overdose, drunks, transients digging through trash. Transients walking in and out of the apartment complex is the biggest issue. Not a SAFE ENVIRONMENT for my kids. The biggest issue is SAFETY. You "pay" for Security, but that's a joke in itself. It's 88 security and he strolls around maybe 1-2 times DURING THE DAY for about 5 minutes. I pay OVER 2,000 with all their added littles fees for " SO CALLED LUXURY ". Maybe it's because they switched ownership? Do yourself a favor and SKIP moving to the vineyards. read more

I have lived here for almost a year. I have only had positive experiences from maintenance requests done promptly (and very polite staff), to various administrative items by a smart, helpful group of employees. I get my questions answered when I am there or the next day. Monica, manager, has been working with me on a move within the community and has done a great job with all the questions I have (I am a bit anal retentive). We lived here for four years and were the first to live in our unit. The community has always been extremely clean and well taken care of. I definitely think it's the best option in the Temecula/Murrieta area. It's close to the freeway and walking across the street to grab some breakfast or groceries is extremely convenient. Of all of the apartment communities in Temecula and Murrieta, The Vineyards at Paseo del Sol has the best staff I have encountered in any apartment community. Norene is professional and is an excellent leasing agent. She takes her time and is so knowledgeable about the units and the complex. It is obvious that she will be there not only to lease you the apartment but to make sure that your stay as a tenant will be the best it can be. The complex is extremely well kept and the apartment interiors are well appointed and high end. As we walked the property is was evident that she knew her tenants well and was well respected by all of them including the children. I hope that I can find a way to move into The Vineyards when my lease is up. read more

the name. The maintenance guy only cares about getting paid and not actually doing his job correctly. We put 4-5 maintenance tickets for our fridge over a 6-month period of time due to our fridge shutting off. The fridge was never fixed and we ended up having water damage. They told us it would take 6 days to fix it. However, we moved out and it was still not fixed. They told us we would be compensated, yet we were not. When my husband called to mention it, they acted like they didn't even know we didn't have a kitchen for over half a month. It was excuse after excuse. I know for a fact none of them would ever pay to live in the apartment we stayed in for those 3 weeks. I have seen homeless people take baths in the jacuzzi in the morning. The last time we went to the children's park there were condoms. While it's close to shopping, it's not worth the headache. Keep your move in sheets. While turning in the keys, they told me I never turned ours in. When I gave them the original sign in sheet signed by them. They did a whole 360 and said they "magically" had it on the computer. All in all, the worst experience we have ever had anywhere. Save your money and save your family from any mental trauma from these people. All they care about is your money, not their tendants, and definitely not fixing any issues that your going to have in your apartment. The only good thing management is good at is at making excuses for themselves and at pretending they have no idea of what's going on in their property. read more

I actually still live here. This has been my favorite place I have ever lived so far. The apartment layout is beautiful and the color scheme is very modern. I get lots of compliments when guests come over. They're very impressed with this property. The staff are incredibly nice and professional. Noreen has always been so professional, helpful, and accommodating. I honestly feel very comfortable and at home here. The complex is kept clean and beautiful. The maintenance staff are out everyday cleaning up the property and they're very genuinely nice people. Unfortunately I have had my car broken into twice and also damaged from a hit and run (which I've reported to the police department). But as with any apartment complex, criminal activity is not the offices fault. We are still very happy here and do intend on renewing our lease. read more

The Vineyards of Paseo Del Sol was our first apartment complex and my husband and I loved living there! We are military and The vineyards were very accommodating when my husband got orders to leave. Shelly, Noreen, and the others at the front desk were very helpful whenever we had any questions, concerns, or maintenance issues and they were very friendly. We might have to move back to Temecula, if so, we would love to move back the The Vineyards; the floorplans and the interior design is very nice and updated how I like. It is close to everything - in a great location. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I wish the Vineyards was a gated community, my husband's motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot. Luckily, his motorcycle was recovered by the Carlsbad Police. I miss living in these apartments! read more

The vineyards are very nice, very well kept, and close to a lot of restaurants and stores. We lived there for a little over 2 months and it was great, except for the parking. If you do not get home at a decent time and don't have a garage or a cart port then good luck finding a spot inside the complex. Upon moving out, they charged us for a professional carpet cleaning (the carpet was brand new when we moved in and had been vacuumed regularly, and no pets in the house) and a professional cleaning service to come in just because "that's what they do when someone moves out" (I had just spent hours cleaning everything top to bottom) we were never there and you could clearly tell it was extremely clean, as it should be. -Both of which were taken out of our deposit, which is ridiculous. I was very happy with our choice at first, I have since then retracted that statement. Good luck! read more

Extremely saddened by the heartless management company here. During this very difficult and uncertain time, I am waiting to hear about all 3 of my kids colleges. All 3 maybe heading away or staying (online if need be with all that is going on) home. We just don't know. My lease is up May 15th (I have been here for 4 years now and I have never been late on my rent). I asked for a couple months extension to see what will happen with this Covid-19. I got an extremely firm NO. I can only go for a month to month ($200 more a month) or renew for 12 months ($100 raise). I sent this request in over a month ago and they just got back with me (of course it's to late to turn in my vacate notice to leave directly on the 15th but with all this going on, i really don't want to be moving right now anyways.) The appliances here are also the lowest models possible and are constantly breaking down. Open parking is absolutely horrible and unavailable (be ready to rent for more $$ the car port or garage). read more
