its not safe crossing from your building to the parking lot on the dominos exit . or entrance , card drive like it's a regular street . the entrance has a small speed sign 10mph no speed bumps at all . I take my daughter and son bike riding or for a walk cars always fly down the complex . very very dangerous but office managers ignore the fact theres cameras but who knows what are they used for. they only enforce the "Rules" for some tenants ! I guess seniority is what counts here . there's so many things that go on but no one sees anything. read more

I want to thank Reyna and the management team at Temecula Creek Villas for an excellent experience through the qualifying process, my movie into their apartment complex, and whenever I have questions or needs. At every stage of the process - they provided guidance and patience as I worked through the administrative requirements. In addition - I visited the office to request maintenance assistance that I needed right away - and within an hour - two maintenance men were knocking at my door. Apartment costs in southern California are high - and in comparison with other opportunities I think Temecula Creek Villas are a good deal and the owners are reasonable. I wanted a view with my apartment and with Reyna's team I ended up with the apartment that I hoped for. The grounds are well kept and the management is very responsive , understanding and polite. As a former Marine that lived here for a year, I can honestly say the management office (Dominique and her crew) understands the importance and quality control and the value of customer service. If I had a problem with appliances, the maintenance team was really amazing at responding and resolving the issue within hours to maybe a day. The property manager, Dominique, is very understanding when it comes to case by case problems that a tenant may have. Not only is the management team are great reason to lease here but Temecula Creek Villas was able to beat the monthly rent of a lot of local apartment complexes near old town. read more

Temecula Creek Villas is an overpriced rip off. Tiny apartments that are designed to take complete advantage of renters. Management spend all their time on computer trying to assess market conditions so they can maximize rental increases. Remember it's your rent money paying for this and they aren't taking care of you. They are there only to ensnare their next tenants. They are breaking the law with insanely exorbitant move out fees that are astronomical and completely illegal. I never touched the walls after 6 months got a $450 repaint fee= illegal Carpet was covered with plastic sheeting = $1000 wear and tear fee valuing it at $5000.00 That's a lie. It's the equivalent of a $6.00 a yard Home Depot special..(actually worse) 335.00 cleaning fee (apartment was clean) 400 repaint patio fee I have never in my life been billed by any landlord anywhere I have ever lived in my life. They had to drop the rents because they couldn't continue gouging people. I dont trust the 5 star reviews. Wouldn't be surprised if it was salespeople writing most of them. This is not the top place to rent in Temecula by any means. They also charge sewer, water and trash fees. Pet fees. Garage fees. Late fees... Trash overflowing everywhere in trash bins. Unsanitary and disgusting. After your lease is up they tack on $200 more a month to continue month to month! Completely predatory and obnoxious. Normal wear and tear is the responsibility of the landlord. That's the law. Cannon Management who runs this place has an F Rating with Consumer Affairs and a one star rating on Google. I recently just sold my condo in OC and made the design to rent during this time to find a home in Temecula. I visited 6 places that I would think I would live during this time. When I came to Temecula Creek Villas and met Property Manager Dominque and her team it was a very warm welcome and was been helpful since day 1! Any time I have a question I send emails within 5 min I get a response, the maintenance staff has offered so much help since we moved in! Its been 4 days since we moved in and feels like my wife and I are on vacation in Wine Country! Almost a full month has gone by and I have not received any of the documentation I requested regarding the charges taken from our deposit. After my 3rd phone call I received an email from Mr. VanDaele stating- "I have reviewed your move out charges and after careful review of the file consideration, I'm informing you that the charges will stand as they currently are. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, but at this time I will consider this matter closed. Thanks and have a great day." I DO NOT consider this matter closed, in fact, I still consider it to be a huge issue and have been attempting to reach a compromise for almost a month now. They have provided ZERO proof of receipts for the charges that are being tacked on to the move out. They REFUSE to provide an email address/contact information for the supervisor above Mr. VanDaele and instead said I have to wait for her to contact me. I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of professionalism within this company and will continue to press this matter as long as necessary. I strongly recommend that no one ever rent from a Cannon Management property. read more

My upstairs neighbor has 2 kids and thinks it's cool to let them jump off furniture like there's nobody underneath them. I talked to the management and all she told me was to have some sympathy for them, that they're only children. Well I pay the same amount of rent as them and when you are paying almost 1400 for a place that you can't rest at and have to constantly be startled by insane noises. So I go and I talk to them again & they told me if I wanted I could move to a different apartment in their complex. When signing the lease, we signed a contract saying we would not make noise that disturbs other residents regardless of the time and day, yet they make me move when she is the one breaking the lease. My neighbor also went and complained about a barking dog (that barked all day & night) and they told her they couldn't do anything about it either. Very unprofessional and unwilling to work with you. Just because I don't have children, they are trying to make me move & deal with all the troubles just because my neighbor has children. Also, the cops have frequently been here recently for people trying to break into cars, a motorcycle was stolen about a month ago, etc. I'm so over this management. Find somewhere nicer to live, this place is not worth your money. read more

The listing says hotels, but these are really appartments... My wife and I lived in Temecula Creek Villas Apartments for just over two years. Let's cut to the chase...This place is awful. There are issues with the garbage disposal. The kitchen sink is connected to the next door neighbor's, so when our neighbor inappropriately disposed of food in their sink, it caused a disgusting, black sludgy explosion in our apartment (not once, not twice, but three times, and after the third we never really got the smell out). Shortly after moving in, we found a small broken piece of plastic in the refrigerator which prevented us from using one of the shelves. It took four requests and three months before this was addressed. We once handed our rental check directly to a desk worker in the office one month, but she failed to give it to the manager which resulted in my wife and I receiving a letter of eviction. When moving our possessions out of the garage, we found a disturbingly large sample of rodent droppings, and we spent the last three weeks of our residency tolerating the daily stench of marijuana coming from the neighbors (which is doubly unpleasant when my pregnant wife also had to breathe that in). BUT THE BIGGEST ISSUE...complete and total dishonesty from the management. In short, the manager offered to work with me and be flexible with the lease I signed, but when we came near the end of the lease, there was a new manager who refused to honor what her predecessor said. The paper trail in my file supported everything the first manager had told me, but it was not directly stated so the new manager and her supervisor at the corporate level didn't care. This deceit basically led to me being required to pay an extra month of rent. MOVE OUT: When I put my 30 day notice in, I requested that I be present for the initial walk through (which is my right under California law). I made arrangements with the manager to be there at a specific time for this walk through, but when I showed up (on time) I was told that it had already been completed. I felt I was unfairly charged for one or two things, but I decided to let it go. If you are considering this place as your next residency, I truly hope you consider this review. But don't just listen to me. Check out the other reviews and/or Google Temecula Creek Villas and you will see a pretty consistent pattern of negative feedback. read more

I lived by the field facing the park. Had a great view of the 15 freeway. I had no concerns regarding living here. It's a little expensive but you pay for what you get. These are the top apartments in Temecula and Murrieta. The staff is very nice (Stacy & Irene) and the maintain guys are really cool (Steve and Michael) ask them how my fish is doing. All around these are nice apartments so many negative reviews from so many negative people. Good people live in good place. Point blank period. :) read more

BEWARE although these apartments yes are nice and pricey U WILL NOT get your deposit back. I lived here several years and was a quiet and clean tenant with the rent on time always. They constantly increased the rent and it began to get outrageous. The management appeared friendly once you get in but they do not take your complaints seriously about issues or other tenants. Very RUDE. Most other tenants were respectful and quiet military or casino families yet others they permit threw parties music all hours, had bad ass kids riding bikes in the pool, parked in others spots or handicap areas they did nothing. When I moved out they tried to get me for like another 2Gs for items they are required to do by law after a tenant has resided for years...painting, carpets, cleaning ect. Renters have rights too. I had the apartment cleaned and steam cleaned the carpets. The place was immaculate. No smoking/pets. Zero damage. It made no difference. They threaten to take u to collections and I think this gets many people to just pay. It is ILLEGAL and wrong. Be careful here!!! read more

I pay $1,245 a month for a one bedroom, and for what they charge, I'm really disappointed. The apartment itself has a nice view and large balcony but there's too many other negatives. The appliances are junk. The sinks are shallow so I have to wash some of my pans in the tub. The sinks faucet leaks because they are the lowest quality faucets I've ever seen. I've had the faucet fixed twice in the kitchen and it still leaks. I give up. The sink in the bathroom doesn't shut off if you don't center the handle perfectly. The garbage disposable leaks under the sink when you put too much into it, and I'm only talking a little bit. The dishwasher is a complete pile of garbage. I'm buying a plastic pan for my sink because none of the dishes ever get cleaned. It only has one cleaning spinner, maybe it's clogged up. The screen door to patio is not sealed at the bottom right, there is a huge 2x2 inch gap I can put 4 fingers though out outside. Maybe it's not the right screen. I don't know, but spiders can get in so I have to jam it will plastic foam. I've had to caulk the toilet and under the counter tops because the aunts are out of control in CA. There were two large holes under the kitchen counter tops and the aunts were getting in. I think I was able to fix that issue by caulking that as well. You're not allowed to use grills of any kind, other then the one by the pool which sucks because everyone is using it. The staff doesn't like criticism. They're nice at first, but when you start criticizing the place they get an attitude. ( won't say any names) But when I told one of the staff that I'll probably be leaving, she said, "well when your rent is up, you can leave and find a better place." Her attitude was like, don't let the door hit you on the way out kind of attitude. ...and trust me. I won't. There's been too many things that got mixed up when I first signed up. Too many story's to tell on this page. They lied. I was quoted a price when I first signed up and was told that the water and trash were included in the price. It was worded in an ambiguous kind of way in the contract which was about 30 pages that were handed to me at the time of my signing. That's right, rather then giving me the contract when I first looked at the place, they wait till you're about to put your deposit down so you can't back out. I later got a bill from a 3rd party. All these people know how to do is apologize. So on top of paying 1,245 for a one bedroom, you also have to pay, Water, Trash, Sewage, Electric, and Gas. This is not Beverly Hills. They don't even have a website for you to pay your bill so if you're working far away, (like most people in this bedroom community) you can't even pay on line. The owner of this complex is way behind the times, and I don't know how to even contact him as the staff tries their best to avoid contact. The dumpster is disgusting. People though trash all over the floor here. Bums come in at night (over the gate) and rip the garbage bags open. The staff lied to me and said they've never had any robbery's. I talked to the mail man and he told me the place was robbed about 4 times in the last two years and they even tried to break into the main office. They have cameras but I was told by the staff that they're not turned on for security, only to monitor business. What a bunch of BS. It sure looks good for new recruits. There are female black widow spiders all over this place on the flag stone in the summer as I carry a night light for my job. The staff says they spray but obviously not enough. I can't leave my apartment at night without feeling webs across my face, and I've been killing them constantly. None have gotten in my apartment because I spray like crazy, but they are everywhere on the stone and walk ways. I have a much longer list of complaints, but I'm leaving for work at the moment so I'll stop here. This place is Waaaaaaaaaay over priced is all I can say. We have loved living here! My husband and I moved in about a year ago and have absolutely loved it. We live on the 3rd floor, which was tough moving into, but was so worth it because of the view! We have an excellent view of the dry river bed from both of our balconies. Because we have a corner apartment, it's very quiet and secluded. Everyone we've had over has loved our place! I just read all these comments and was very surprised by the comments. We've lived here for almost 3 years, and on the highway facing side and have never had any major issues, maybe we're just content with life like that. I didn't even know a motorcycle was stolen, or that there has been marijuana incidences. Wow. I guess I'm living in a good location away from all the action. Only little issue I have is that I haven't seen the 'security' gate closed in weeks, it's always open and everyone can just drive in here, also the little gate next to the big gate doesn't have a lock, so anyone can just walk in here. In my opinion I like living here, the highway noise doesn't even bother us anymore, the pool area is always clean and taken care of, except for the gas-grills that hasn't been taken care of properly, or not cleaned by the person using it. It's close to everything, and even though we live on the 3rd floor, imagine carrying groceries up those 36 steps at one time, I consider that as my work-out, as I said before, I guess we're just content about life and where we live and don't complain about things, or maybe we've just been blessed to have no major issues. Billiana is great, in asking questions and the maintenance guys have been very quick in fixing little issues in our apartment. read more

I loved living in these apartments, in fact I wish I still could! I signed a 1 year lease back in October of 2012 and my son and I moved in. The apartment was perfect for us, super clean and super well insulated, I barely heard anything from the neighbors at all. Management was very responsive to requests for repairs. I too had a problem with the disposer. It made strange gurgling noise and backed up in the middle of the night. I reported it to them and it was repaired right away and never gave me another problem. And I cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone was so nice! 6 months in to my lease I was diagnosed with a potentially serious health issue that required me to have surgery and be out of commission and work for a while. I had no real close family or friends up in Temecula and was faced with having to move back to San Diego to be near my mother and sister for help and support with myself and my son. When I approached Billiana the manager with my problem, she was so sweet and kind! She did everything she could to help me. She presented my case to the company and they were kind enough to let me out of my lease early so I could be closer to family. For this I am greatful! read more
