We lived here for 6 years, and this was by far the best run apartment complex we ever lived in. I highly recommend it! The apartments are clean, comfortable and spacious. The appliances are of good quality and repairs are made promptly, often on the same day. I doubt I ever waited more than 2-3 days for a repair, and the maintenance team does an excellent job every time. The grounds are kept clean. The landscapers keep the grounds beautiful. It's very quiet. I only needed to make one noise complaint during all those years. The security patrol showed up promptly and took care of it. In the few times we needed to report any kind of rule breaking or disturbance by a neighbor, the office staff was totally responsive. Unlike many other complexes, they never made us feel like we were a nuisance. Instead, they were grateful that we were looking out to help maintain the quality of life in the community. They're on top of everything and always take care of whatever issues come up. They have 2 nice pools and a decently stocked gym. Plenty of guest parking. The office staff always has a friendly greeting and is extremely helpful and efficient. They go above and beyond. If you're in the market for an apartment in Temecula, you won't do better than to get one here! I wish I still lived there but had to relocate for work. read more

I lived in this complex for 8 years and I have nothing but good things to say. I lived in a 1 bedroom. It was really quiet, always a ton of parking, staff was also super friendly, anytime I needed help with anything in my apartment they were always on top of it. Maintenance was always really fast and professional. Prices are very good especially compared to other complexes in Temecula. I love that there was trees everywhere. I never had any issues... the complex itself was very quiet and never experienced any issues with neighbors or noise etc. The ladies at the front office were all so nice and always so helpful. I'm not sure how this apartment complex removed my review off google but they did.... Firstly, I enjoyed these apartments the first year I moved in over 3 years ago. Now I was present when the crack heads had their camper across the street, a building burned down, and every other night sewage spills into the parking? Walk the grounds at night if you don't believe me. They look nice but management is horrible and the yearly price increases are expected. I moved out and regret not doing it sooner. Okay, so it's my policy not a review a place until after the move-out process, because how they treat you as you move-out is just as important (if not more important) than moving in. From start to finish, this place was wonderful to us. For starters, they have really nice apartments, all upgraded, for a very good price. I think they're the best deal in Temecula, honestly. Secondly, they have the BEST parking situation for apartments that I've ever seen. There were zero parking issues, and even on the days that I would come home super late (past 11 pm, etc), I would be able to find a spot near me. The reason is because they have like 250 open spots, plus 250 something carports, and a side street where you can park your car. Plus, they don't have any garages, so they never charge for parking! They try very hard to stick to their rules as outlined in their lease contract, and while it can sometimes be annoying to be told you can't do something minor (like hang your laundry on your porch), you can't ever say they didn't warn you. They tell you right before move in what you can and can't do while living there, so whatever they do ask you not to do afterward is already in the lease. My only gripe was the service dogs--I think they basically just told everyone to tell their doctor to write them a note to say they need their dog for anxiety because no way on earth are ALL those dogs highly trained service dogs, but whatever. They maintain their grounds extremely well--I've never seen such nicely manicured lawns and bushes. They really put a lot of thought and effort into their maintenance. Move out: Selena did a great job of telling us what charges would come out of our deposit. There's an option for self cleaning, which if you do, she will go through your apartment and tell you what more needs to be cleaned in order for you not to get charged. Or you could save your sanity and just get charged the standard fee of $155, which we opted to do because that clean out list was a monster. Warning: if you leave a mess on the stove, in the fridge, and in the washer/dryer/tub area, you'll get hit with a $50 heavy cleaning fee. We didn't know about that, so when we did the final walk through, Selena pointed it out, and ultimately they let us clean it ourselves instead of just charging us. That was very nice of them, but that's what they're like. They don't charge you extra after you leave--they're very upfront and honest. We got the rest of our security deposit (minus the cleaning fee of $155 and carpet fee of $80) in less than 2 weeks after move out. This is a great place to live for a great price, and they treat you really well! read more

My wife and I just moved here from the east coast. We searched extensively for a town and a community in southern California that would be a good fit for us. When we came across Sycamore Terrace in Temecula, we thought it was too good to be true. We were super apprehensive because the pricing for the apartments is extremely reasonable. Since we couldn't exactly drive by and have a look (we lived 2500 miles away), we had to research everything online. My wife scoured the Sycamore Terrace website, read reviews, researched the town of Temecula, explored the area on google maps, and everything looked perfect. After researching online, we decided to apply for a unit. Cierra was the first person we spoke with, and she was absolutely AMAZING! So friendly and very thorough. We were in frequent contact with the office leading up to our move date, asking all kinds of questions, and Cierra, Linda, and Selena were all extremely kind and helpful. We had never been to Temecula before, and we wanted to ensure our new place would be as good in person as on paper. After driving across the country, when we finally arrived, the town was even more gorgeous than we could have imagined. The immediate area around Sycamore Terrace is very clean and beautiful, and it just has such cozy, family friendly atmosphere. When we got to the property, everything was just as pictured, and of course the ladies at the office have all been so wonderful - Linda even wrote us a list of restaurants to check out in the area! Our unit has been great. We had a couple of minor issues, but they were addressed right away by James. He is so friendly and has been really informative with everything from best settings to use for different fabrics in the washing machine to how to prepare for an earthquake. The grounds are very well maintained and look just like they do on the website. Residents are frequently out using the amenities - pool, grills, volleyball court, etc. Everyone we have met has been very nice. It's also very quiet at night, at least around our building, so no problems with rowdy neighbors. If you are from out of state and are wondering if this place is too good to be true, I promise you, you have struck gold! It has not only met but exceeded our expectations. I cannot praise Sycamore Terrace highly enough. The property is well-kept-up, largely thanks to the awesome landscape and maintenance staff (James, Ramon, and Mario). Maintenance responses are always quick and professionally done. The layout and landscaping of the property is beautiful and surprisingly serene for being smack dab in the middle of Temecula and adjacent to Margarita. I would spend hours just chilling at the spa and admiring the trees. The inside of the units are really nice, especially good value considering the relatively affordable rent (a real bonus in Southern California). The granite countertops were my favorite. The office staff is amazing, too. Selena Westling and Linda Jabouri manage the place with aplomb, always personable, responsive, and on top of the needs of their tenants. I've never felt like this was a place where they are always looking to "getcha", or only do the bare contractual minimum. The front office also staff are likewise always cordial and helpful (shout out to Megan Hall). After seven-ish years in this location, I couldn't be happier with my time here. Sycamore Terrace was the best apartment community we have ever lived in. And we have lived in a lot of apartments! We could have stayed for a long time if we didn't have to relocate for work. We moved from out of state and Rebecca and Selena made the whole process so smooth and easy. The community is so quiet and serene. The apartment is spacious and the kitchen is gourmet! I would give this place s 3.5-4 stars. We've lived here going on 2 years. The staff is nice and they respond quickly to everything. Parking is easy and the property is kept up very nice. I am giving it 3.5 stars because the walls are so thin in these apartments you can hear everything your neighbors are doing & every time they are walking around. Also, the biggest thing is that they do not allow dogs, only service. Which I think is absurd, it's 2019. Meanwhile, all our neighbors have dogs & I know for sure those dogs are not all service dogs. read more

I have lived at Sycamore Terrace on and off for 5-years and this property is home. The staff is knowledgeable, the grounds are well kept, and the apartments have that "homey" feel to them. Maintenance responds quickly and efficiently to our requests most requests are done within 24-hours! The price is very reasonable and the staff is top-notch. They are on it and they know their rules, you will receive a memo if you're violating them. It can be frustrating in the moment; however when you walk around and see how cohesive the community looks you understand why they are so serious about it. I wish that the amenities were a little more upgraded but again, for the price and size of the apartment as well as the cleanliness and staff you really can't beat this place! Also, they do a TON of community events like an egg hunt for the kids, a resident appreciation week, and Santa even comes and visits. It's a super cool place to live! read more

Looking for a great place to live? Look no further, you've found it. Sycamore is great from the ladies in the office to the guys in the field. The property is well kept, and I love all the landscape, it makes it great for little ones to have a place to run around. When you drive into the community you feel like you're leaving California, the property has so many different trees everywhere. They also host quite a bit of community events that are always a blast, during COVID the staff found creative ways to keep the community entertained like a virtual Halloween costume contest. I do wish the carport numbers were a bit easier to see, and that the amenities were a little more up to date, but that's the small price to pay for such a great community. I will say that they are good at taking into consideration residents requests and put a lot of money into property upkeep so hopefully we will see those upgrades soon. read more

We have lived in a two bed two bath apartment at Sycamore Terrace for five months and absolutely love it! We were told before we moved in the apartment would be cleaned and painted and indeed it all looked clean and brand new when we arrived. The office managers are friendly, courteous and helpful. The grounds are kept clean and in good repair by the maintenance staff who are friendly and courteous. The families who live here are pleasant and friendly. There are a lot of kids so at times it can be a bit noisy. This is rare and seeing kids outdoors playing is inspiring in this age of electronics. We are right next to the pool and we accept it may be loud at times but truly most of the time it is quiet. We looked at many complexes before moving here and now that we are here when drive passed other places we know we made the right choice. We moved from New York so it was a bit scary but so far we are very happy! read more

Although I only lived at sycamore terrace for 4 short months I had a great experience. The apartments are well kept although being older. My favorite part about the apartment was the kitchen (it was so spacious and updated with granite countertops!). The girls in the front office are so nice! Especially Megan Hall, she was very sweet and always addressed any issues I had. The manager Selina was also great. Parking was never an issue. The only con about this place: getting stuck with upstairs neighbors who are up at all hours of the night and smoke marijuana all day (which was out of the offices control). read more

I was a tenet for about 5+ years. I'll give the Pros and Cons of my experience. +) Location it takes little more then 10mins to get anywhere in town. Grocery store, the mall restaurants and the freeway. -)Margarita rd during rush hour gets really backed up. Trying to exit or enter the complex during theses times can be a real challege. +)The largest amount of space for the leastest amount of money. There are cheaper places but not with as many amenities. -)Temecula had gotten very expensive in the 5+ years I lived there. Most of the 2 bed 2 baths went for around $1700 and up. Sycamore Terrace is little exception. Went I first came in 2b2b went for $999. When I left it was just under $1600. They want to match local prices so they will continue to raise rates at least $100 a year. +) nice upgrades to cabinets and walls. -)Old appliences and they charge for the ones you dont have. When we first moved in attachements such as fridge and washer/dryer were optional. You would pay month to month for the ones you used. They didnt have a washer/dryer so my wife and I bought our own. And the rent rate was dropped. Then two years ago i noticed they were charging me an extra $45 a month for the w/d when I brought it up the manager crossed out the price but left the full rent unchanged. I said "That dosen't change anything why am I still getting chargered for something I already own?" She said "It was part of the rent now." I responded "so essentially you're giving out free w/d's. Ok I would like my free w/d. I'll sell the one I own and take a new one." "No." She responded with her back turned "No? I'm being charged for something you're not going your give me?" I said sternly " "i dont have any available and its not in our budget this year. But if one becomes available we'll let you know." 2 years pass we called corporate we addressed the issue on contract negotiations but still never charged. Friends in other units had a nicer refrigerator the the junk they have in the units. But werent allowed to change it out due to space. It's sleazy moves like this that didnt allow me in good conscience to give a 4 or even a 5. Left a bad taste in my mouth for an otherwise fine establishment. read more

We were at Sycamore Terrace for 2 years (May 2015 - May 2017), living in a 2BR/2B upstairs unit. As someone who has lived in multiple apartments in the valley, Sycamore is by far the best overall. - Best price for the space/location (year 1 at 1375, year 2 at 1450) - Nice updated appliances - Functional unit/layout - Well maintained grounds - Family friendly - Friendly, considerate neighbors - Great management You can tell they take their vetting process seriously. Props to Cierra and Selena for running a tight ship. A few downsides as every apartment will have some. Hardly a deal breaker for most, but worth noting for the sake of an honest and constructive review: - The plumbing/toilet water pressure was on the weaker side - The turn-in or trying to exit the complex onto Margarita Rd is a bit inconvenient Also, unfortunately they do not have a 3BR unit, otherwise we would have stayed one more year! We left because I needed an additional room for an office (I work remote) and we were in the market for a home. The timing was not quite right, so we ended up at the new luxury apartments with a third bedroom near Old Town. Let me just say, while we like the newness and spaciousness of where we're at now, the quality of our 'quiet enjoyment' has been vastly compromised thanks to the upstairs neighbors we got paired up with. It's clear management was taking anybody and everybody to fill in all those new empty units. But, that's for another review, I suppose! It just makes my wife and I appreciate even more how well we had it for two years at Sycamore Terrace. read more

Been to just about every apartment complex in Temecula and can say for your money this is the place to be! Was here for two years and only reason I moved out is because I recently purchased a home. Single dad with two kids and we absolutely loved it. The management staff in both Cierra and Selena were excellent! Always friendly and very helpful! I almost don't want to write this review because I want to keep this place my own hidden gem... But I want to give the credit due! That being said, my family and I love it here. We moved out in May hoping to look for something different. But with the rent increases in the county and number of people trying to move into Temecula, let me tell you the grass isn't always greener. We came back this month and don't regret it! It is reasonably priced. Great finishes. Awesome community. The staff and maintenance are always there to serve, quickly and efficiently. The community itself is quiet and filled with families. I lived in Sycamore Terrace for a year and really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, the grounds are well kept, maintenance is always quick, and you can't beat the updated finishes for the price. I never had a problem with my neighbors or with theft, there are majority families which is good if you have kids. The apartments are very centrally located and you could walk to a lot of things. If we didn't have to move to be closer to my husbands job then we would have definitely renewed our lease. I would 100% recommend this complex to all my family and friends. read more

I've only lived here for 2 months and probably one of the worse places! I was told my rent would be 1300 and now it's 1400. We were shown a completely different set up and when it was time for us to move in we walked into our place and it was a huge disappointment!!!! Our shower already has water damage to it and cracks in the bath tub! If you have a maintenance problem, NO ONE answers there phone! I'm stuck in a lease for a year and this apartment is the worse!!!!! read more

I have lived at Sycamore Terrace for 6 years now. I have never had an issue with their staff in the office, they are very nice and respectful. Selena is the best! My family lives in a 1 bedroom and we love it. It has not been remodeled yet but its okay. The pool and gym is just outside our door. The Maintance guys are very professional and helpful. Everyone at the apartments keeps to themselves which is nice. Although its not a gated community its very safe. I have never had anything stolen from my apartment or car and sometimes when I am not home the maintance guys come in during office hours with my permission and make repairs and I have never had anything missing or moved from its original place, I can trust them! The community is kept clean and I LOVE THAT THEY WILL NOW BE NON SMOKING APARTMENTS! Every year that I renew the price does go up but not as much as other places. Overall I think this community is safe, clean, professional staff and a great environment for my family! read more
