Fast forward 10 years, and I had the opportunity to move back to OSR--this time with my newlywed husband. It feels wonderfully familiar in the best way, with great technology upgrades and thoughtful improvements since I first lived here when the community originally opened. The entire move-in process has been smooth and stress-free. The community is relaxed, clean, and well-maintained, and the neighbors are friendly and considerate especially the dog owners/etiquette. Most importantly, there's a real sense of peace of mind living here. A big shout-out to Athena and Katelyn, who were both wonderful on many occasions throughout the process. They always have broken down gates, people never pick up their dog poop. People work on their cars outside their garage. Parking is horrible, the community grills are disgusting. The pool is nasty during the summer. The apartments are super outdated. The rules don't apply here so do as you please. They had a police chase that went through these apartments putting peoples lives in danger so if you have kids be careful. You're making so much money off everybody here and you can't fix a the freaking gates. The owners are money hungry snakes. The best part will come when you're ready to move out because they're coming after all your safety deposit so be prepared to not get anything back. This place absolutely sucks and you will find no parking whatsoever. Homeless people hangout around here and will be coming in no problem since the gates are always broken. If you have any valuables getting delivered to you, be aware that homeless people walk past your door so be careful. Take my advice and go look elsewhere. read more

Do not bother to move here. This place is horrible!! They have gone so downhill. There are more dogs here than should be legal. And by all means, if your neighbor's dogs bark constantly, abandoned out on the balcony, for hours and hours at a time, poops and pees on the balcony, smells absolutely atrocious every time you open your sliding glass door, and you cannot even go out on the balcony because you get viscously barked at, the management will NOT do anything!! They will basically take up for the neighbors who are the disturbance and treat you like you are in the wrong. You will not be able to enjoy that part of your home because the barking echoes throughout that part of the home which is your kitchen, dining room, living room. You will pay full rent even though you cannot enjoy your full home. Management will continue to tell you they are reporting everything to their "lawyers" and are working on getting the people out. It's been 5 months so far. There have also been multiple dog bite reports throughout the complex. I repeat, do not move here!!! read more

So it's sad how it took a review from yelp for this place to get a step in the right direction. Animal (dog) no more abuse unsure where it went but hopefully to a good home that will take care of him and treat like a little king he is. Unfortunately it's still a 1 star due to the fact the same neighbors do drugs and they do so much of it that it stinks up our place like be considerate of others. Made multiple complaints to the office they don't do anything about it other than write a letter to the whole building stating that someone is doing it and be respectful....that isn't gonna do anything. Oak Springs Ranch in your own blessed contract it states that it's prohibited from everyone's apartment do we just pick and choose who gets to do it or what. We moved in back in January and the neighbors moved here mid February that whole month and a half it never smelled like it so we know for a fact its them and we live on the corner with only them as the only neighbor. Even one of your employees checked out the smell in our apartment and agreed with us so what's going on. This is very frustrating and unprofessional as this has been a now 5 month issue with ZERO resolution. I am a new resident here and I just have to say how amazing this place is. These apartments are so luxurious. I never want to leave. Rooms are spacious and I actually feel like I'm in a townhome vs apartments. I love the many amenities they offer here. Such as the gym, pool room, small picnic areas, basketball court, and the swimming pool and spa. They even have a children's pool. It's so close to a grocery stores and eating out places. That's definitely a plus. The staff here are so friendly. They make sure to wave at you and make you feel welcomed. So easy to work with. If your looking for a place to call home... this is it. My family and I just joined the community. We been looking at this place since 2021 and we finally moved here in 2023. As of right now we enjoy it and we are amazed at how much we could do. Compared to where we came from this is a big upgrade. You know what they say first impressions are powerful. We definitely were glad to be working with Amy she is very sweet. We also met Emily but didn't really get to talk much with her. We haven't yet met more staff but the maintenance employees are friendly by greeting you as you walk or drive by. I lived at Oak Springs Ranch from June 2017-June 2018. From literally the first night I moved in, I had nothing but issues with just about every aspect of residing there. My garage door came off the track the first night and was hanging haphazardly from track right over my car parked in garage. I had to wait over 3 hrs for the maintenance guy to respond to my frantic voice mail messages and finally come get it closed. My apartment door was literally right next to a dumpster unit. This was a constant problem; between residents just throwing their trash every where, and bulky items like mattresses/couches etc being dumped there all the time. They have an outside "company" that randomly peruses the complex to pick up these items, as well as stomp down the trash into the dumpsters. I found this out after calling management to alert them of a sketchy looking truck/people going through the trash very early in the morning. There were always homeless people coming in and rummaging through the trash at all hours of the night. They would just collect what they wanted, leaving a disaster area behind them and hop back over the fence to the street. This was very concerning to me as I worked nights 3-4 times a week and was often scared to even open my garage door to enter my house for fear of someone gaining access as I was pulling in. Pet owners were the worst here, as there was always dog feces everywhere. I suggested having a pet bag center like they have over in the grassy area and certain walking 'trails' installed on the stretch of sidewalk where this was happening. Managements response was that it was too expensive and there were bag centers in other areas people could use. I then suggested having the landscapers maybe pay more attention to this when tending to landscape but that never happened. The grounds were always well maintained over by the office area, but when I asked about when the mulch and plants would be refreshed over around the area where I was, I was told that it costs them X amount of $$ to do this and they can only do certain areas. The vehicle entrance "security' gates were constantly broke down, I'd say at least twice a month and that's being conservative. It would take them weeks to get them repaired. This issue made me feel even more unsafe when I would come home late from work. I was also warned by other residents to not leave anything outside my front door, i.e decorations or garden things due to constant theft by homeless people. The apartment unit itself inside was decent. I never heard my neighbors and the stove was gas so I liked that. The carpet was a horrible low grade berber that was easily snagged. The unit had typical cheap cabinetry and appliances as well. My washer would not fill correctly so I took video to show to management. I explained that the washer was constantly ruining my clothes by twisting them into knots due to the low water level. It never filled up enough to even cover the amount of clothes that were being washed/rinsed. At one point I was told to just wash less at a time, when I was already washing half loads because of this issue. The head maintenance gentleman came and looked at it for a second and said it was fine, and that is just how the machines are. I've been using a washer for over 30 yrs and this washer definitely was NOT performing correctly. I just started adding water to the machine to compensate for the low level. Bottom line: for the $1840.00 a month I paid ( I had a two bedroom unit with a two car garage) as well as all the other residents varied monthly rents being paid to have the listed 'amenities' I found it completely unacceptable for these types of issues I mentioned to remain unchanged for my entire stay living there. I would not recommend Oak Springs Ranch to anyone looking for a nice place to live in Wildomar. read more

If you are looking here for amenities, your wasting your time. Ever since COVID started they have completely taken away what they have to offer. When they finally brought back the amenities they opened them for banker hours, considering the office hours are 10 to 6pm. And during that time from 12 to 1 the amenities are closed for some reason. Even when other apartment complexes reopened their amenities Oak Springs had theirs closed. And I was just informed that as soon as they get the opportunity their are again shutting the gym and pool down. While they are still charging everyone for the amenities and maintenance of which we dont get anything in the apartments fixed unless it's an emergency. They continue to charge late fees and full price for these apartments. And if you do move in just know that your rent will be $200 higher then they first tell you because of water and trash. read more

So this is my comprehensive review for the nearly eight months that I lived there. Here's the good and the bad from my experience. The good: Office Staff. Everyone at OSR in the leasing office is absolutely amazing! I'm in there at least once or twice a week to pick up packages (more on that later) and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The few times I've needed their help on other matters they were always right on top of everything. Candice (I hope I got her name right!) is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Maintenance team: These guys are the best! They always respond to service requests in a timely manner and are always friendly and professional. Super group of guys! Overall community: This is a newer community and they really make an effort to keep things neat and tidy. The areas around the trash stations can get messy but that's to be expected. Unit design and layout: The main reason I chose OSR is due to the townhouse style design. Most units have no one above or below you which makes for a mostly private and quiet experience. The Bad: One caveat I should mention is some of these issues are particular to my unit location and experience, your mileage may vary haha. Neighborhood quality: My unit directly faced George St. behind the shopping center. Since Albertsons has their can return station just down the street, there was always a noticeable presence of homeless people around. Sometimes they would be rummaging through the trash station just outside my door and people sleeping in cars along the street are fairly common. I also found two syringes (one with a needle still attached!) laying on the ground on the apartment grounds. Noise: Since the community is so close to the hospital, ambulance sirens are something you learn to accept and tune out. Not a big deal for me. Other than that most of the people here are fairly quiet aside from car stereo music and loud cars here and there. Parking: Even though all units have a one or two car garage the lot was always full especially at night. One HUGE pet peeve of mine are the people who park in front of their garages because they don't want to walk the short distance to their unit. This is a daytime only occurrence but it makes backing out of your garage really tight and frustrating. Mail service: Even though there's lots of oversized postal lockers in the mailbox area the post office is too lazy to use them and instead just takes all packages into the apartment office. So if you're an Amazon prime subscriber like me you'll be visiting the office staff very regularly LOL! In summary I would rate the community itself as 4 stars and the neighborhood as 2. read more

For as much money is asked for rent... the amenities are over priced, the staff is less than mediocre and low key rude, neighbors spy on everyone worse than I've ever seen before... it's supposed to be gated... but the gate on one side is pretty much always broken and stuck open. Which leads me to the next point, while I understand people go through hard times, I'm a bit weary when I need to throw my trash and there's homeless people sleeping in between the recycling and the trash bins... I have kids too... and I don't even want them going outside alone.... again... I know people go thru hard times but I don't know how these people truly are...it's hard to trust nowadays but when I pay $3k and I am offered "safety"... it ain't feeling very safe... I'm grateful I can have my dogs but that's about it for the positive side of things. The Mountain View's are pretty much being ruined now because MORE apartments are being built not even 30 feet away... there's no dog park which is definitely a thumbs down. Especially for a complex that has multiple homes with dogs I would think that there would be a few throughout such a large property.... I have never lived in apartments before and this has been exactly what i expected....over prized living with people nit picking petty things but over looking real issues. Cant have my kids scooters and out doors toys on the porch area (which get played with daily) but they can take 6+ months to get things fixed and over look people drinking in the pool area and smoking whatever they want wherever they want even around kids. I am writing this review as someone who almost rented from this community but decided against it due to a major safety concern. I thought the Oak Springs Ranch community was nice during the daytime when I visited and got a tour of the apartments by Amanda. Amanda was very helpful and kind. I actually really wanted to rent with Oak Springs Ranch, but after reading many Yelp reviews comment on the number of homeless people in the community in evenings, I decided to return the same day to see what the community is like in the evening. When I returned with my mom who toured the community with me, we were both so shocked and horrified to see a homeless man inside the complex with a shopping cart and a large bulldog. This man was very aware of how to both get into and out of the community as my mom and I watched in (this is gated community and the homeless person knew how to open the side gate to get into and out of the community without a key fob). My safety is of the the utmost concern to me and I have never in my life lived anywhere where there was a homeless person. I am surprised as a community that with so many negative Yelp reviews about homeless people or people swimming in your community pool that are not residents, that you have not addressed this problem by having a full time security person. For this reason, I will not lease at this community nor can I make a suggestion for anyone I know to do so. This was such a disappoinment because I liked the community up until the thought I might have to interact with homeless people at a place that should feel safe. My peace of mind and safety is worth far more than ever considering renting here. Respectfully, your community needs to fix this problem. read more

Wow, where do I start. Lets start with the pros: -The maintenance staff is great. They responded to our request in a timely manner, are very friendly and keep the grounds clean. -Close to the freeway, grocery stores, strip mall, Kaiser doctors office. The Cons: *sigh*...here we goooo -We moved in when this place was brand spanking new, only about 30% full, was nice at first then quickly went downhill. -Signed the lease with one company. They made a lot of promises, then Oak Springs was sold to another company that let in a lot of riff-raff. -You are showed the game room and lounge when you tour the grounds, but they don't actually want you hanging out in there. It's just for show. -Even though the apartments have attached garages, hardly anyone uses them to store their cars. Drive by an open garage at any time of the day and see that the residents have converted them into an extra bedroom, an office, a repair shop, a junkyard. -Because of this, there is no parking available in the lot for guests. (who the lot was intended for in the first place) -The gates are always broken. Why are we paying to live in a gated community when the gates sit open for 20 days out of the month? - Vagrants dig through the trash bins early in the morning and late at night. -The residents were supposed to get a pin code for the walk through gate near the shopping center. Some of us got the pin, everyone else just physically breaks the code box. -Quite a few people hop off the bus (bus stop located outside), swim in the pool, use the hot tub, then hop right back on the bus from whence they came. -Wildomar Police seem to always seem to be here at night. There was a drug bust at one point. Another time they came right to my door and was waiting for me when I got home from the store. A cell phone had been stolen and the police said that the signal was coming from my apartment. I let the officer in, he looked around and left. Soon after he returned with the victim of the stolen phone to identify me. She looked at me, said "No, that's not her." and I never saw either of them again. - The inside of the apartments are nice, but you soon realize how cheap the cabinets, floors, appliances are. -Loud inconsiderate neighbors, play music in the shared courtyard until late in the night, fight with their spouses for all to hear, have their kids running around unsupervised. -Had my patio decorations stolen on multiple occasions. -What's really insulting is that they have this updated lease with many rules about conduct, parking, consideration for your neighbors, keeping your patio clean...but most people don't follow these rules. Which make us wonder why we even bothered trying to be clean, considerate people? Now, this is what really set us off. We lived in our apartment for 2 years and 1 month. During that time, we didn't hang artwork on the walls, took our shoes off at the door and didn't make a mess anywhere. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment was pretty much spotless when we left (and yes, we took pictures). When we signed the moved out documents, my husband set a date for them to have their first walk through. That day came and went...no one showed up. A week and a half before our lease was up, we packed up everything, cleaned a little and moved back to Orange County. A week later, I returned to the apartment with two other people and all of my cleaning supplies. We scrubbed, washed and sanitized from top to bottom. Gotta get that deposit back amirite?! At 12:00pm I called the office and asked if they had done the first walk through while we were gone. The woman in the office (I'm not going to call you out by name girl *side eye*) said that they did not but can come by today. Great! We agreed to have the walk through at 4:00pm. Of course, four o'clock came and went, no one showed up, and I sat in an empty apartment with my 8 week old in my arms. I waited until 5:15, then left. A few days later, my husband returned on the official move out date to do the final walk through. Two female office workers came and checked the apartment with him. Would you believe that on that day, the office manager tried to get my husband to sign paperwork saying that they had done the first and final walk through with us? Shady business... Our refunded deposit check came right on time, I'll give them that, but it was for a little over $20. TWENTY DOLLARS! Looking over the receipts that they sent for cleaning, they deep cleaned the carpets, repainted the walls and deodorized the apt. My husband and I don't smoke and don't have pets. What the hell were we charged for?! I recently moved out of Oak Springs Ranch in July 2018. The complex is very clean and well designed. The staff is satisfactory but can be condescending when faced with any problems tenants may have. First, let me say that if you don't like dog crap all over the grounds of your "home", you probably wouldn't want to rent here. It is probably bad every to be a health issue. They don't provide proper lighting so it is quit scaring walking during the evening through the complex. The gates are always broken and even the pedestrian gates can be pushed open at any time. The dumpsters are constantly full and there is trash overflowing usually all the time. The parking is so bad you might as well sell your vehicles and buy a bike or Uber everywhere you need to go. My two little dogs were attacked twice by two German Shepherds and every complaint I was told to, "write it down." I finally had to contact animal control myself to get results. When I moved out I had the carpets professionally cleaned and when the furniture was out we cleaned it again. When I got my deposit back their Dunn-Rite carpet cleaning company wrote the carpets were realy [really] dirty with yellow urine stains. I called Oak Springs and they stated they replaced the carpets in my unit!?!?!? Are you kidding me!!!!! They stated I wasn't charged for the carpet replacement but they did take out $180.00 of my deposit to pay a fraudulent Carpet cleaning company that does all their business. I waited to write this review because I was hoping they would admit fault and reimburse my money but obviously I have to pursue it further with Consumer Affairs. There are MANY homeless people in this area. They stole my chair cushions and a overnight bag that was on my porch. They probably lived here at one time and couldn't afford the rent increases and lost their vehicles because they had to park them on the street. Run, don't walk to the nearest exit!!!! I am still waiting for a telephone call from Ursula regarding the $180.00. they literally stole from me. Great apartment complex and amenities are kept up except for the bbq grill. Only really bad thing about this place is the night parking situation. If you get home late...forget about it! You're parking your car outside of the apartment complex and the closest gate isn't even accessible with a key fob and you would have to walk all the way around the complex to open the gate. Been happy about this place until this happened! I'm sure there's probably a lot more people moving in now because this was never an issue before. Besides that, it's a great apt community and very upscale. Parking update: permits are now issued but not everyone takes it seriously. Had to park my car outside the apartment complex once again when I got home at 1 am. Keypads are now installed at the gate finally. I guess you can't have the best of both worlds at this place so just gonna have to suck it up until the lease is up. Definitely don't want to sound snobby but there's been a few shady characters that have moved in the past few months that made this apartment complex comparable to Sta Rosa apartments. I was one of the first residents in the community am very pleased. This place is amazing. Everything is BRAND NEW!!..that, along with the amenities is what sold me. The leasing process was extremely simple and the staff here is super friendly. Still only a total of about 10 residents in the community so the staff is really good about being cheerful. Outdoor grill area, pool and hot tub, billiard room, and a 24 hour gym. Again everything is brand new which is such a bonus. I really like being walking distance away from a grocery store and a number of other businesses. I am no salesman, but this is an awesome place to live. read more

Love it now. We used to live in a section of the complex where we were surrounded by cigarette smokers. Management was kind enough to allow us to relocate to an area of the complex that has minimal cigarette smoke. We haven't used our air purifier in 4 months and keep our doors and windows open all day to let the fresh air in! At the old location, we never turned off our air purifier and had to get up over 10 times per day to close the windows and doors because our neighbors smoked soooo much The view at our new location is awesome too! read more

This is a second home for us, and we have the one-bedroom with the attached garage. It's lovely. I love the high ceilings, and spaciousness. It is also insulated so well, and even though we are on a bottom floor, we NEVER hear anyone else. The staff - especially Ernie and Matt - are so attentive. We are very happy to be here. read more
