We dined at The Ravenous Pig again on our most recent trip to Orlando, and I'm happy to report it's still every bit as incredible as it was when we first stumbled upon it in 2024. The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. Ravenous Pig in Winter Park is a solid experience. The staff was great from start to finish and the craft cocktails were wonderful, definitely worth exploring the menu a bit. The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong! read more

Brunch Review 2026! It's a Saturday in late April 2026 and the Orlando Magic are taking on the #1 rated Detroit Pistons! My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. Wow the Ravenous Pig is everything! Once inside the space is beautiful and classy and cozy all at once. The menu is very unique with many creative dishes. We started out with a Ravenous Pig old fashion, adorned with bacon and the bourbon is infused with bacon as well and we had key lime pie daiquiri which was tart and sweet. The escargot toast is fantastic- creamy, earthy and full of flavor. The mushroom and Dijon cream accompanied the escargot. My taste buds were dancing. We also had the lamb shoulder roulade- roasted corn salsa and smoked cream corn was such a delicious dish. Only disappointing item is there was only one medallion of lamb. Tonight we came for the steak frites and artic char and neither of them were a disappointment. The steak was cooked perfectly medium, seasoned well, and nestled on top of a sauce next to truffle fries. The artic char was also cooked just right. I always see this place on the way to Winter Park and I've been wanting to try it, we finally came by for brunch. The inside of this restaurant is really nice. The staff here were friendly. We both got the Pub Burger w Truffle Fries. The fries were pretty good. I got my burger medium rare but it was more on the rare side. I don't mind rare so it wasn't a big deal to me, but it wasn't what I asked for. I thought the burger was just okay. The main taste I got was just a little bit of blue cheese. I didn't really taste any of the caramelized onions that it said that it came with. They didn't really char my burger either so it just tasted meh. I went in to have a quick drink and some food with my girlfriend. We ordered their ravenous pig old fashioned which has bacon infused bourbon. It sounded delicious but when we got it, our mouths were on fire.... We took a few more sips and finally said something to the other bartender who didn't make the drink. She tried it with a straw and quickly realized the issue. The other bartender accidentally used fire bitters and that's the reason for the burning. They were very apologetic and quickly made us new drinks. We ordered a burger to share and they brought it out cut in half on separate plates with more than enough fries on both plates. It has been a few years since I have been at the Ravenous Pig. My husband and I decided to go to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what a wonderful time we had. When I made the reservation, I added we will be celebrating our anniversary, when we arrived we were greeted with a Happy Anniversary and a menu that said the phrase on it. It is the special details that make a difference. Moving on the actual dining part, everything was wonderful. We had the most wonderful server Maddy (Not sure if it is spelled out correctly). 3.5/5 TLDR: server was nice. Apps were great. Entree and dessert were average-below average for the price. Service was pretty slow but our server was very kind. That being said, the meal took almost two hours from when we ordered to finished our food. The place was packed so I don't fault them on that as much. The fries and oysters were some of the best I've had, bar none. I'm not huge on raw seafood and I was still blown away by that. House fries were salty, crisp, and executed perfectly. Biggest issue is that I did not enjoy my dish, and the others in my group felt theirs were very average. I got the Reuben, and was disappointed to find that, although the beef was good quality, did not taste very good nor like a Reuben. It tasted like butter and a hunk of beef: no sauerkraut, dressing or anything other flavor to note of. Overall, I would try to give this place another shot and just try a different entree; it's nearly $50 per person counting apps, so it may be a minute before I revisit. read more

We arrived with a reservation on a Thursday night, and it was surprisingly busy. We got seated right away and greeted by two lovely hosts. The dining room has a nice ambiance , a touch of elegance but also rustiness. I requested a high chair for my toddler which they happily obliged with. We ordered the steak frites and an Alfredo pasta dish. The amount of fries as part of the steak dish was generous, and the steak was delicious with a decent portion although would have preferred a bit more for the price. Everything was amazing, for my taste the only thing I would point was the pork belly had too many fat, could have more meat (but I know depend on each animal) If you don't like smell truffle (oil) maybe will be a downside, as a lot of plates have truffle you can smell even if you don't order. The Ravenous Pig is an absolute gem in Winter Park. We've eaten there many times over the years, even at its predecessor, Cask & Larder, owned by the same group. The service, food, and ambience here are always consistent: excellent. What I love most is how much the menu changes each time we go. Far too many restaurants in Orlando keep 85% of their menu the same, but Ravenous might be more like 20% of their menu is the same. We really enjoy that, as there is always something new we haven't tried before. I will say the prices can be a bit steep, but fair for the value and quality. We try to go on special occasions. I appreciate that they also have mocktail and zero proof beverages available. One of my favorite dishes was actually a fish sandwich, believe it or not! A solid Winter Park gem! Ravenous Pig has been around for almost two decades and has a solid reputation for great food and great service. I love coming here from brunch and have always had a nice time. Everything is delicious and is cooked well. Prices are a little high for what you get though -- a burger for $22 and steak with fries for $38. I used to come here as one of my regular spots, but now it's become more of a nice occasion place. I like sitting out back in the beer garden too, but finally dining inside was a treat! Service was attentive and I appreciate the valet service as well. I really enjoyed the "isn't she lovely" gin-based cocktail, and everyone else loved their drinks here. We also started with a few apps - the short rib jerky was definitely my favorite!! I could have eaten this as an entree, it was so good. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the short rib being dry as a jerky, but it was phenomenal! Putting it with the rice and spicy sauce into the lettuce wrap made for such a flavorful app with a kick. I didn't brave the octopus, but the pork belly was good as well, although I generally prefer a softer pork belly app. I went simple this evening and got the burger, but it was awesome! Cooked to my liking and the truffle fries were some of the best I've had. My boyfriend ordered the gnocchi with escargot, which he said was extremely high quality, but definitely a smaller portion size than the handhelds on the menu. If you're looking for bang for your buck, a handheld might be the move. But the quality of the pasta dishes is certainly there! Both the carrot cake and chocolate mousse desserts were beautifully presented with great flavor profiles - I love the combo of strawberry and chocolate, and the lemon sorbet with the cheesecake was surprisingly lovely. I uploaded a new menu and was going to delete the old one, but I started looking at it first and quickly became alarmed at how prices had risen so much for the same items (for Happy Hour for example, beers are now basically $1 off. Guess it's the Michelin effect? At the same time, portions are quite small. The Kitchen seems to rely on heaping copious amounts of (greasy overcooked) french fries in the hopes that guests won't notice the small piece of mahi on the $26 sandwich, or $38 steak frites. $15 for 3 beignets ($5 each, for a small donut)... $26 for 3 shrimp tacos... I could go on, but the point is: not great value.
