Restaurant #3 in my 2026 Magical Dining tour was this fantastic restaurant. This was my first visit to The Ravenous Pig and will not be my last. I was unable to make a reservation for this night, but walked in and was seated at the bar immediately. There are two hostess stands at this location. The first stand is at the door next to the Valet Parking stand and is for confirmed reservation seating. You are directed to walk further down the hallway towards the bar area for another separate hostess stand for walk-ins. We were seated at a nice two-top table close to the brewery room. (Note: we noticed a separate table inside the brewery which appeared to accommodate a small group and most likely requires a reservation to be seated there.) Kelly was our server and she was efficient, fun and very knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of our questions, including explaining the ingredients of some of our selections. Our drink selections consisted of the frozen Getaway Car (vodka, sour cherry and maraschino liqueur) and the Woe Is Me martini (herb-infused Grey Goose with a pickled cherry tomato). The tomato made this martini stand out! The presentation of both drinks was memorable as was the taste of each. For our appetizers, we shared the Gatherer Salad (a zesty combination of baby greens, avocado, pickled beets, radish, goat, cheese and walnut granola with a herb vinaigrette dressing-outstanding!) and the Mushroom and Gruyère Beignets, set off by the pecorino cheese and the truffle aioli sauce. We easily could've had a second round of the beignets, but decided to go ahead and order our second course. For the second course, we shared the Pan Seared Redfish with summer vegetables, and the Steak Frites. The fish was delicate, light and the fennel broth made this dish a winner. The Steak Frites consisted of rubbed prime flat iron steak, garlic aïoli and bordelaise sauce-SO GOOD! The truffle fries were plentiful and, when combined with the sauce, resulted in a perfect accompaniment to this meal. For the final course, we shared the Black Forest Cake and the Peaches & Cream (caramelized puff pastry with peach jam, and mascarpone custard). Both desserts were the explanation points of the evening. At the end of the night, we told Kelly that we loved the combination of the "naughty and nice" pairings for this magical dining experience. (For example, the beignets and the salad, plus the redfish and the steak, allow you to both eat healthy and eat decadent.) A final shout out to the General Manager, Scott, who gave me an excellent tour of the outside beer garden (not occupied due to the rain that evening) and the major beer brewery facility next to it. TV screens are available in the garden, and would be an excellent party place for watching football this Fall. I think I have my next visit to The Ravenous Pig planned in the coming weeks. Great service and great food made this easily a 5-star evening. read more

The last time I wrote a review for Ravenous Pig was back in 2012!!! I can't even believe so much time has passed, AND that they're not only still in business but have outgrown the old space they use to be at and moved into a much larger location. They even have a brewery!! It's incredible and a testament to how good they are. I was re-reading my old review and was impressed with how they've kept up with obtaining and working with local growers and butchers. I'm sure that's been a big reason behind their continued success. Our waiter Billy was excellent. We were a group of 5 having a girl's dinner. He was great at answering all our questions and recommending certain items to us. We all chose from the magical dinning menu, what a deal! We all ordered different things and they were all excellent. The gatherer salad and the beignets were our favorites for the appetizers. For the entrees; The Red fish was so delicious, but I also tried a piece of the steak frites and that was fantastic as well. The Steak was super tender. That house made pasta linguine with shrimp was incredible as well. The black forest cake dessert was really good. I like that it wasn't too sweet. I love that they continuously update their menu in accordance to what is seasonal. The only critique I have is that when we first arrived, they had trouble finding our reservation. I had to pull up the email confirmation (Which I did confirm) A confirmation that they had actually sent me the previous day. The hostess lady seemed annoyed and asked us to sit and wait while they got a table ready. We waited around 15 minutes. No big deal, but a little nerve wracking when she said: "I don't see your name here." It's a good thing I kept that email confirmation. I'm actually really looking forward to coming back and trying other things from their menu, as well as their house-brewed beer. read more

We dined at The Ravenous Pig again on our most recent trip to Orlando, and I'm happy to report it's still every bit as incredible as it was when we first stumbled upon it in 2024. The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. Magical dining was great. 40$ plus an 8$ rose cider (not too sweet and crisp and lovely). I got the salad, steak frites and the peach dessert. The salad was very generously sized and well dressed. The steak was well cooked but I found the sauce kind of sweet and cloying. The dessert, while not photogenic, was a deliciously balanced treat that had a hard tractable shell that made it fun to eat. All around I had a great time and a great meal. Side note; my husband got the cheese plate to finish off his meal and it was not up to the standard of the rest of the things we ordered. The difference between the outdoor, bar, indoor seating vibes in HUGE. Outdoor is very casual, and only outdoor. Some sunshades but no real protection from elements. Inside seated is meant to be fine dining. Bar is a happy combo (but seemingly always finance bros of the area) The food is great, happy hour is great, magical dining was a great deal. I can't believe I haven't reviewed here yet! I've been here a handful of times and each time the service and food has been superb. During our latest visit, we made reservations for our anniversary. While being walked to our table we realized we were being sat at the same table we had our first date at. They also had pre-printed "Happy Anniversary" menus that is such a simple touch that goes a long way. Wife and I went here for a magical dining date night. Food was good overall in terms of state, serving size and presentation; but I was a little let down by the cheese plate I chose as a dessert. It just felt underwhelming, and I regretted not going with one of the sweet options once I saw the scrumptious confection my wife was presented with. Wow the Ravenous Pig is everything! Once inside the space is beautiful and classy and cozy all at once. The menu is very unique with many creative dishes. We started out with a Ravenous Pig old fashion, adorned with bacon and the bourbon is infused with bacon as well and we had key lime pie daiquiri which was tart and sweet. The escargot toast is fantastic- creamy, earthy and full of flavor. The mushroom and Dijon cream accompanied the escargot. My taste buds were dancing. We also had the lamb shoulder roulade- roasted corn salsa and smoked cream corn was such a delicious dish. Only disappointing item is there was only one medallion of lamb. Tonight we came for the steak frites and artic char and neither of them were a disappointment. Loved the brown butter hollandaise sauce that it came with. We also got the crab dip which was amazing. Definitely wasn't expecting it to blow us away the way that it did. I always see this place on the way to Winter Park and I've been wanting to try it, we finally came by for brunch. The inside of this restaurant is really nice. The staff here were friendly. We both got the Pub Burger w Truffle Fries. The fries were pretty good. I got my burger medium rare but it was more on the rare side. I don't mind rare so it wasn't a big deal to me, but it wasn't what I asked for. I thought the burger was just okay. The main taste I got was just a little bit of blue cheese. I didn't really taste any of the caramelized onions that it said that it came with. They didn't really char my burger either so it just tasted meh. I went in to have a quick drink and some food with my girlfriend. We ordered their ravenous pig old fashioned which has bacon infused bourbon. It sounded delicious but when we got it, our mouths were on fire.... We took a few more sips and finally said something to the other bartender who didn't make the drink. She tried it with a straw and quickly realized the issue. The other bartender accidentally used fire bitters and that's the reason for the burning. They were very apologetic and quickly made us new drinks. We ordered a burger to share and they brought it out cut in half on separate plates with more than enough fries on both plates. It has been a few years since I have been at the Ravenous Pig. My husband and I decided to go to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what a wonderful time we had. When I made the reservation, I added we will be celebrating our anniversary, when we arrived we were greeted with a Happy Anniversary and a menu that said the phrase on it. It is the special details that make a difference. Moving on the actual dining part, everything was wonderful. We had the most wonderful server Maddy (Not sure if it is spelled out correctly). Our server was so attentive, gave us recommendations and at end got us a special treat for our anniversary. We started off with their Artisan breas, wow it was so good! That being said, the meal took almost two hours from when we ordered to finished our food. The place was packed so I don't fault them on that as much. The fries and oysters were some of the best I've had, bar none. I'm not huge on raw seafood and I was still blown away by that. House fries were salty, crisp, and executed perfectly. Biggest issue is that I did not enjoy my dish, and the others in my group felt theirs were very average. I got the Reuben, and was disappointed to find that, although the beef was good quality, did not taste very good nor like a Reuben. It tasted like butter and a hunk of beef: no sauerkraut, dressing or anything other flavor to note of. Overall, I would try to give this place another shot and just try a different entree; it's nearly $50 per person counting apps, so it may be a minute before I revisit. read more

The good: Brick chicken was tender and flavorful. The maybe: Appetizer Bone Marrow was okay, but undercooked and I've had much better elsewhere. The Bad: The supposed catfish my wife had did not resemble any catfish I've seen in over 60 years. It was tough and had a strange texture and taste. Once again, this was Not Catfish! Ravenous Pig in Winter Park is a solid experience. The staff was great from start to finish and the craft cocktails were wonderful, definitely worth exploring the menu a bit. The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. What really stands out is how often the menu changes -- everything is based on what's fresh and in season, which keeps each visit exciting and totally different. But the real star of the night was the tortellini -- hands down one of the best dishes I've eaten all year. The texture, the filling, and the broth was great. The sausage added a nice touch. I finished the meal with their pear sorbet, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to end after being stuffed from dinner. We arrived with a reservation on a Thursday night, and it was surprisingly busy. We got seated right away and greeted by two lovely hosts. The dining room has a nice ambiance , a touch of elegance but also rustiness. I requested a high chair for my toddler which they happily obliged with. We ordered the steak frites and an Alfredo pasta dish. The amount of fries as part of the steak dish was generous, and the steak was delicious with a decent portion although would have preferred a bit more for the price. Brunch Review 2026! It's a Saturday in late April 2026 and the Orlando Magic are taking on the #1 rated Detroit Pistons! My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. I had a really great experience at The Ravenous Pig. The food was genuinely impressive. The pork belly was the star of the night, tender, flavorful, and honestly worth coming back for on its own. The pasta was good, just not my personal favorite, so I'd try something new next time. My friend thought the sandwich and fries were solid, and my drink was delicious. The service was amazing. Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu, had great recommendations, and was quick, attentive, and just gave off a really good vibe. You could tell they knew their stuff. I wish could give more than 5 Stars! What a dinner, thank you Ravenous Pig! It has a warming and inviting ambient mixed with lux and elegance. It's a really good place to celebrate, dates or social! They do brew some beers and even have a bar area over there, really nice. Let's go to the main point FOOD! Everything was amazing, for my taste the only thing I would point was the pork belly had too many fat, could have more meat (but I know depend on each animal) If you don't like smell truffle (oil) maybe will be a downside, as a lot of plates have truffle you can smell even if you don't order. The mushroom & gruyere beignets come with 4 units, what was more than enough, really tasteful and had an truffle cream. The steak and fries oh my good, could eat that everyday,day do have an dry age fridge there, were they do some charcuterie, duck and steaks. The deserts my favorite was the dark chocolate tart, the mixed of the cashew ice cream with cocoa nibs and cherry, give you a lot the sweet but at same time balance because of the ice cream, amazing! The Semifreddo was really nice too, but the tart was unbelievable Also, they have a lot of drinks and options of non alcoholic! We went here for dinner while in town and luckily got to enjoy the Magic menu. We feasted on mocktails, a yummy salad with goat cheese, mushroom beignets, duck Alfredo, and steak frites. We also got to indulge in two desserts: the chocolate tart and a peach cobbler type thing. Everything was delicious. It was an incredible amount of food for the fixed $40 each and such a deal during this time of year. Our waitress was lovely, and the meal was so nicely spaced that we were able to enjoy ourselves without being rushed. We ordered a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and a Dutch baby (a fluffy pancake topped with huckleberry, lemon cream, and ricotta). The service was excellent. Since we were dressed in uber casual clothes for the flight later, I did feel a bit underdressed for this place. I've been here 3 times already and must say that their appetizers steal the show! Each time, I'm pretty impressed with their starters, but then the entrees come and it's a little underwhelming. The food is still good, just not absolutely delicious like that apps are, in my opinion. The Ciabatta Truffle Loaf is so pillowy soft and the truffle aioli pairs perfectly with it. DO NOT SKIP DESSERT! They have some pretty creative combinations that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! Their Pumpkin-Almond Tart came with green apple sorbet and it was divine! Our choice of Quiche Lorraine, Short Rib Hash and White Chocolate Strawberry cookies satisfied our choice of great food. The Ravenous Pig is an absolute gem in Winter Park. We've eaten there many times over the years, even at its predecessor, Cask & Larder, owned by the same group. The service, food, and ambience here are always consistent: excellent. What I love most is how much the menu changes each time we go. Far too many restaurants in Orlando keep 85% of their menu the same, but Ravenous might be more like 20% of their menu is the same. We really enjoy that, as there is always something new we haven't tried before. I will say the prices can be a bit steep, but fair for the value and quality. We try to go on special occasions. I appreciate that they also have mocktail and zero proof beverages available. One of my favorite dishes was actually a fish sandwich, believe it or not! A solid Winter Park gem! Ravenous Pig has been around for almost two decades and has a solid reputation for great food and great service. I love coming here from brunch and have always had a nice time. Everything is delicious and is cooked well. Prices are a little high for what you get though -- a burger for $22 and steak with fries for $38. I used to come here as one of my regular spots, but now it's become more of a nice occasion place. Parking was easy, impressed with the visual design of interior. Smart design to create a unique but focused experience in a space that would've been otherwise average and pedestrian. Front desk hostess seemed ok not the most welcoming. However our server made up for it, she was fantastic. Food was delicious. Steak and eggs amazing, well seasoned and fresh dishes. Fresh mimosas and they really took care of us. Welcoming bar area and great peek into the brewery. Restrooms very clean and pleasant decor. All around thoughtful design of the space which made the food that much more special. Definitely would come back again! read more
