I don't leave reviews very often but I am today solely because of one particular person, Sarah Reed. Sarah is the community manager for my condominium complex in Dana Point, CA and she goes above and beyond to make sure that our complex runs smoothly and that all of our amenities are working and/or repaired in a timely manner. We have gone through a few Management Companies and even more community managers. I can't speak for the Vintage Group as a whole but I can speak about Sarah Reed, she is very responsive and all around a great and easy person to work with. Her predecessor wasn't nearly as responsive nor did they appear to care as much as Sarah does. Thank you Sarah for all of your hard work, it doesn't go un-noticed. read more

Worst HOA ever. We've had a leak in our roof for nearly two months now that the HOA hasn't fixed. Undoubtedly there's been damage done to our attic that we can't see and we constantly have to hound the HOA to get anything done. Particularly our HOA rep, Cindy Addington, is awful to work with. She rarely answers the phone and frequently doesn't respond to emails. We've had several major issues with the balcony which we've communicated to them and go unaddressed. The leak in the roof still hasn't been fixed and rain is forecasted a week from now. Our bathroom ceiling is starting to cave in and one more storm might do the job. read more

The worst company ever. I pay $241/month for HOA and every time something doesn't work or needs repair, they do not respond. Even after multiple emails, they do not respond. The most unorganized company. If I could get my community to fire them, I would. My house number has fallen off for over a month and it's never fixed. I would like to say "many thanks' to Elyse Backer,a Senior Community Manager. She always returns my phone calls and respond with my emails on time. I am living in the Orchard Square community in Chino for more than 3 years since this brand new construction was built in 2019. After she in charge the management in 2022, our community had a HUGE improvement! Almost no more packages were stolen, landscaping is updated, pool and common area is much cleaner then before, parking patrol is on their duty and neighborhood watching is continuing. Each of the HOA Zoom meeting (communication) helps our community move to a next level of living environment. The best part is monthly HOA fee still stays at same amount since day one! They manage The Lakes Condo in Corona. HOA fees have gone up but they have eliminated 24/7 security (found this out the hard way when our car was broken into...) Exterior of buildings were painted.. they also painted OVER a hornet's nest! Why tho??? Trash everywhere now with bums coming in and ripping through bags for stuff and leaving the remains all over the place. Takes days to get a response from HOA if you poke and prod enough. But even then you'll rarely get a helpful solution. Rent/buy at your own risk. I dont recommend it. The complexes across the street are gated, maybe check that out instead. read more

Vintage Group - Trash everywhere in the parking complex - Property Management Near Me - Irvine, California

These people are literally the worst! We have had no oversight at our property since we moved in about a year and a half ago. The "managers" who oversee the property do not live locally and do not respond to emails, calls or anything for months on end. Many simple issues (such as placing door numbers) have not been carried our despite residents doing all the leg work to help them find the "proper" numbers. Moreover, issues such as street lighting are left up to the residents to take care of since the HOA will not do anything. We have not had an annual meeting this past year, the vendors contracted for monthly cleaning do not show up regularly (and have not come by even once in the past 3 months), and no one from Vintage has responded to our emails for almost 2 months. We had community managers switched and the first one (Jenny) was rude, unprofessional, and did not even have a sense of what the property lay out was (she literally asked us to send her pictures). The community manager who replaced her introduced herself by sending out her very first "community email" saying people we going to be fined for various violations. Regardless, this place is a money suck-- we pay almost $300/month for basically nothing; our community has no common shared spaces besides driveways and all the HOA needs to do is landscaping, pest control, and cleaning/maintenance , which frequently does not happen for months on end. If any home you plan to purchase uses them, STAY AWAY! read more

They're there to collect your money and ignore you when you need something. They won't communicate and when they choose to respond weeks later, they're not willing to work with you. I'm on the board of an HOA that's managed by Stephanie Cook. This review is based on about 5 months of experience. Stephanie and her team are knowledgeable and generally very responsive. She's also very helpful when it comes to educating the inexperienced board on process and procedures. I'm giving this review 4 stars because: 1) I don't have enough experience working with them to give them 5 stars yet. I am President of an HOA community, and Vintage Group has been one of the WORST companies that I have ever worked with. Vintage Group was installed as the HOA management company by our builder. They were, frankly, incompetent. Some of the issues that we faced: -Vintage Group charged our HOA for 12 late fees that were charged due to Vintage Group's failure to pay on time. It took multiple emails to get them to agree to reimburse us those late fees. -Vintage Group wrongly set up our utility accounts, and had us paying a homeowner's utilities. After informing them of the big mistake, they attempted to tell me I was wrong (without explanation/reason). It took multiple emails and way too much time and effort for them to finally call the utility company and figure out that the account was improper as we had flagged. -Some property managers that we were assigned were unresponsive (e.g., it would take 4 or 5 emails to receive a response). -We emailed managers about trees that were not receiving water. Despite emailing about that issue numerous times over 3 months, they failed to inform the landscaper and the trees were severely harmed. -Vintage Group nickels and dimes customers. They charged us for sending e-statements. -Before homeowners took over the board, Vintage Group held some board meetings without providing homeowners proper notice. -When Vintage Group would get frustrated, they would randomly threaten to charge us an hourly rate to complete normal work that should have been included as part of their contract. They also threatened to charge us to spend time looking into their own mistakes (e.g., threatened to charge us to look into the utilities that were wrongly set up by them). This is just a representative sample of some of the issues that we faced. There are many more that could be listed. Bottom line - stay far away from these folks and find yourself a different HOA management company. read more

I was indifferent about having an HOA, as there were a few bumps in the road as far as reading and learning bylaws, but Sarah Reed has not only held my hand and explained processes to me but has always answered my questions with full transparency and honesty. I am a home owner who has lived in Contradora Condo Community in Corona for the last couple of years. Since being here Cindy Addington is the person I was suppose to report to incase anything needed to be addressed. Any time I went to e-mail her, I either got a reply months later or not at all. Nothing ever got fixed. The jacuzzi has been broken until recently. Graffiti left on a neighboring wall. Light bulb out on my corner (so it is pitch black at night.) When I had an issue with a neighbor black mailing me (long story) she did not help and anything she ever said was either against me or just made everything a lot more difficult. Just recently. Jennifer Turriciano has taken over. She has been amazing. The jacuzzi has been fixed after all this time. She immediately got the graffiti fixed and now I have a light on my corner. Jennifer has done an excellent job and I am so thankful for her and hope she sticks around. When I e-mail her, she is prompt to reply. If I were to give any stars before she came around it would be in the negatives. Thank you Jennifer so much for your help and professionalism. read more

As a new owner I am not impressed at all. Got a random note stating I need a parking pass from security or I will be towed. Had no idea i needed a pass wasn't in the HOA packet or anything. Spoke with the assurance grace who had an attitude because I work in Costa Mesa and could not get to corona to pick up my parking sticker so i have to drive to laguna out of my way to get a pass they should have sent information about when escrow closed. You have to harass To get any assistance with phone calls or emails. Cindy the property manager is impossible to get ahold of she is absolutely negligent and careless. I am so very disappointed with this Management company. Our complex has been having several thefts like mailboxes broken into and owners weren't notified for 2 weeks, also have several garages broken into and to top it off now vehicles are being broken into and some stolen. Property manager Cindy is the WORST ever. She doesnt reply to emails or voicemails. So our pool and gym have been closed cause of Covid. But now their gonna close for the season,but we still have to pay for maintenance for amenities we havent used since march.
