As we are in a state of COVID-19 and a global pandemic, have been sending in my HOA payments by certified mail. Because the post office is short staffed, the lockbox service is short staffed they charged me a $150 pre-lien fee and mailed me a pre-lien for failure to make payments when their staff was given the certified mail tracking numbers in advance and was given the name of the postal supervisor who said that postal station was so short staffed that there was over 250,000 pieces of mail that was backed up but some how it is my fault that I'm supposed to be able to control the post office and the lockbox service staff - how illogical and stupid is that??? read more

I have had to deal with this inpet company for the last 2 years. Customer service is awful to non existent. There is next to no communication with homeowners and no follow through. It has taken 6 months to has a repair issue addressed. They failed to communicate correctly to a hire repair contractor the actual job that needed to be done. Have dealt with many many HOA management co and this one is rock bottom by itself the worst by far. They simply take our communities money, don't resolve anything, cancel mtgs., make constant excuses,go uncommuncative for weeks at a time, change contact person every few months....I can go on and on. Dont use this company. Seems as though the builder Family Development, just as bad Stay away from any of their projects, sets up Vintage to lead and stall any HOA progress then when project is finished builder bolts and community is left with Vintage having done zero and community is left to start again with money spent on dues wasted. The vintage group provide the worst service that I have ever seen. I called them to get a parking permit for my own car in my own neighborhood, and they never answer the call. I left thousands of messages to them, no one ever call back!!! I have been applying for a parking permit for three weeks, and have not get it yet!!! My advice is never use this company!!! read more

This company is amazing with awesome personnel. I've worked with several managers from this company and they are all professional and kind.

Incompetent employees from this company have set off the property alarm three out of the last seven days in the middle of the night, waking up anyone within a 1/4 mile radius. When confronted the employee made excuses and took no responsibility and was not I interested in rectifying the problem. The employees at this company lack training (if they were trained they would understand how to operate the alarm system), common sense (if they had common sense they would not make the same mistake over and over) and don't care about customer service (blaming others with no interest in fixing a problem is the wrong answer). They are the lowest bidder for a reason. read more

While I can't speak for any of the other managers from Vintage - our recently appointed new manager (Elyse Backer) has been an absolute breath of fresh air. She is on top of every single concern, problem, conflict and is immediately available to all the residents of our community. Being an HOA manager is an incredibly thankless job to begin with and I've observed Elyse handle herself with the utmost empathy, care, and compassion for the residents. She takes every complaint and concern seriously no matter how big or small which really makes us feel like we have an advocate on our side. She is an absolute asset to the company and I hope we get to work with her for years to come! read more

I live in an HOA that is managed by vintage group and they are amazing! Any time I run into an issue or have a question, someone has always been able to assist. My phone calls and e-mails are always returned in a timely and friendly manner. I appreciate their attention to detail and our association would not be the same without them. Highly recommend if you are in search of a good management team. read more

There's a 48-hour parking rule for the public parking spaces within the community. My father, who lives in the community, has to park one of his cars in the public lot due to lack of space in the garage. He is elderly and disabled, and does his best to move the car to adhere to the community rules. Recently Corinne at Vintage had my father's car towed for being in the same spot for longer than 48 hours. Although it gave us a scare, we didn't take much issue with the towing itself. However, when we got on the phone with Corinne to learn more and explain our situation, she was extraordinarily rude and hung up on us. Judging from the other reviews, I get the sense that rudeness is both the mode and modus of this company. read more

I cannot use my name or my community name for fear of reprisal. Jennifer Eldair consistently writes the most condescending emails I've received to date. She addresses our community owners and residents as if we are a classroom of naughty fourth-graders rather than as someone who purportedly works for us. Surely the company employs someone who could teach her best practices for positive outcomes, such as making people feel valued, and the fact that people will live up to expectations. We are not renters. We own extremely expensive homes in So Cal, and VG is not the only option for our community. read more

My review is with Stephanie Cook. She has brought us a long way. It has gotten a little better to live here at Olivero Ranch. We still have a long way to go. We need to see more cooperation with the tenants and more control and communication from the on site management. They do not enforce the issues that exist here. We need to control the un supervised children running wild in the area. Now I am hearing that they are vandalizing the playground area. All repairs should be taken care of as soon as possible. The speed of traffic is still too fast even with the posted speed. read more

This is the WORST management company I have every dealt with. I live in a new community and It look a mess. The property manger is more worry about towing cars than the up keep of the property. I have been buying homes from D R Horton for years and were considering buying more in this community until I had to deal with the property manager. They way she spoke to the people in this community was very rude and just flat out awful. This company needs to be removed from our community and the government needs to notified about the misuse of funds. If you look at the history of this company why are they still able to manage properties. I am so disappointed in D R Horton for even allowing this happen. At this point I will not be buying any homes that is currently under or will be under this management group. read more

This HOA group is the most unprofessional and difficult to work with group we have ever done business with. When we closed on our newly built property they did not want to spray for ants. imagine that. A new home with ants and an HOA which did not want to address the issue until I complained all the way to upper management - funny thing they told me in the office before I got to a manager, they said: the ants were there first and we disturbed their home by building yours on it. I woke up to a slab leak, we are homeschooling and working from home. It could have been a nightmare but it wasn't. I made a call around 7:30 A.M to Vintage Group after hours and had a live person answer right away. She assured me the plumbing company would call soon and they did with 5 minutes! RSM plumbing was here within 2 hours, my slab leak was fixed and we had water again in a few hours! I am so thankful for your professionalism and service! read more

I live in Brea at Buena Vida, this " management Company" is extremely poor, you never can speak to the property manager , when I called because we did not receive our monthly assessment bill, the person answering the phone raised her voice to me and stated she doesn't know if they answer there phones or will call you back, she was pretty rude. I tried to contact Laura Roche about my bill with an email and follow up phone call with so far no response. Also I had to call the emergency # on Labor Day because of a water leak with absolutely no response. I realize most management companies are not rated 5 star, but this one is really not well run and not at all responsive to its client's needs, we after all do pay their salaries. read more

My several attempts to contact them go into blackhole. They ignore my emails and phone calls about things need to be fixed for the unit. In the meantime, they never miss collecting HOA fees and they are promptly reminding me that my address light needs to be changed. read more

Vintage group is a fly-by-night property management company. It's a small organization with only 30+ employees and they do not do their jobs. I addressed an unsafe condition from a 15 foot dead hanging palm branch over my walkway that had been hanging there for more than 10 weeks, and the assistant property manager, Denise Mitchell, that was filling in for the regular property manager who is on medical leave, wanted to wait for the regular property manager to come back from indefinite leave and not address the safety concern. I told her the longer the branch hangs there, the more likely an accident could happen if it were to fall and asked her if she wanted to wait for an accident to happen? I asked Denise to give me contact info of someone else that would be able to help, since she did not want to, but she refused to give me any info after multiple requests. I then copied the owner of the company, Amy Moore, numerous times of my email exchanges with Denise, and asked for her assistance, and Amy also refused to respond to me. Vintage Group breached their duty of care as well as exhibited gross negligence by refusing to address a safety concern in the community that I and my neighbors addressed. The landscaping company eventually came to cut the branch and did an incomplete job, leaving a large 3 foot shell hanging off the palm tree where they cut the 15 foot dead branch from. I mentioned this to Denise and asked her to give me the name of the manager of Brightview Landscaping so I can request they come to remove it. Again Denise (and Amy) refused to give me any contact info and said I wasn't allowed to contact the vendor myself. 3 days later, that large piece actually fell right into the middle of my walkway due to high Santa Ana winds! Luckily it did not fall on anyone!! The very safety concern I was trying to address, happened. This company is horrible and their lack of care is a concern and even hazard for all residents. I can't believe our HOA hired an F-rated company. The only thing Vintage is consistent with is 1 star reviews on BBB and YELP. I'd advise to steer away from this company...all the reviews and complaints are consistent with what everyone is saying. read more
