We came here for dinner on New Years Eve, 2024. I found this restaurant through the Resy app, and was looking for reservations. I am so happy I found this place. It was absolutely amazing. The restaurant was beautiful, our service was phenomenal and the food was perfect. It had a real farm to table feel to it. My husband and I both ordered their elk chop for our dinner entree and we split the crab cake appetizer. I also had their fig martini. They had a champagne cheesecake for dessert for New Year's Eve with a sparkler on it! Quite the presentation.

Seafood Dynamite has returned for good reason!

Great restaurant in Cloverdale with some old style charm that did not disappoint. The Seafood Dynamite appetizer was brought back by customer demand! It was delicious but so rich and velvety. The venison was cooked to perfection and the blueberry breeze was a delight! Our server was very attentive and informative.

Make reservations for a Tuesday night and enjoy burger night at Vintage Year! The service was good and the food was great! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.

Hopefully the put the Passion Fruit Salad on the menu permanently, it was stunning!

Everything about Vintage Year is absolutely stunning! The decor is classy and not over done, the service is attentive, professional and very knowledgeable and the food is perfectly divine! We started with the Yellowfin Tuna which just melts in your mouth then shared the Passion Fruit Salad which was the daily special salad. It was definitely special, those passion pearls were fun and delicious! Our entrees were just as spectacular as the appetizers! Perfectly cooked filet and sweet buttery crab cakes made the entire meal unforgettable. Definitely worth the visit and will return when we're traveling through again!

The Petit Duck, marmalade and brussel sprouts. Great taste but the sauce overwhelmed the duck. Glad I got it on the side.

Had reservation on a Friday night. 6pm. Seated quickly by a super friendly hostess. Service was great from start to finish; the hostess even walked me to where the restrooms were instead of just telling me. Husband and I had the wagyu steak and the duck; both entrees were delicious. We also had a side of brussel sprouts that were perfect. Server suggested sauces that went well with entrees and answered our questions. One note; the orange marmalade sauce he suggested, and I got with my duck was way too much flavor. My first bite and the sauce was all I tasted. So the first bite of sauce was the last....I got duck because I like duck. This would've been a 4 star review easily but......the ambiance. The restaurant is not big but the tables situated nicely so you could have a nice date night here. Unfortunately there is a bar on the end with several stools and two televisions (at least - I couldn't see to the end of it). It was LOUD in there. Typical bar noises, shouts and laughter that weren't out of line at all....they just took what could've been a lovely quiet dinner and made that impossible. I was expecting the Vintage Year to be that wonderful special place for a nice dinner out and was really disappointed with that part. EDIT: So in the reply below the suggestion is that I dine in the dining room. Ok; when I arrived I wasn't asked or given a choice of where to sit. That's where my husband and I were seated. First time there; how would I have known to ask? And I didn't suggest anyone could control the noise; in fact I said it was normal bar noise. No issue with that other than the fact I was having a $100+ meal sitting next to a bar.

The first great dining experience of 2024! If you find yourself in Montgomery - this is a must "eat" Chef is off the hook talented and this family operated restaurant (and it's 5 sister restaurants) will make for great dining experiences every trip.

    Go Tuesday for burger night!
    Jennifer L.

Tonight was burger night and I went on a friends recommendation. Yum! Got the Fox burger, loved it! I'm trying the Great Fondue next time I'm here on a Tuesday! The fries were crispy. I could have gotten sweet potato fries or a mix but I went with regular fries. $5 glass of wine and I was set! It was so good! I could not wait to take a photo, I had to start eating right away. Service was outstanding. I was offered bread before I had decided on a meal and it was so soft and the butter was whipped, I had to eat it, even though I had a burger coming. Until next time Vintage Year! Had a great dinner!

I came in for dinner late T evening and was immediately seated for dinner. The restaurant is nice and inviting and service was good. I was torn between the lamb and the burger; T is burger night. The wagyu burger blend was calling my name and the server recommended the Old Smokey, with bleu cheese and a bacon jam. It was cooked as I ordered. OMG! What a flavor profile for the palette! It was so yummy! I had sweet potato fries also and they were good, just the right amount. I ordered the million dollar bar, which was described as a fancy Twix bar, after I heard guests at another table raving about it. It was delicious and came in 2 pieces. I ate 1 there and the other the next day. I can't wait to return and try another wagyu blend burger or something else.

I would say that our experience was okay. We made reservations for a Saturday night at 7pm. When arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated right away. The inside was nice and upscale type of environment. My family visited the restaurant for my aunt's birthday for the first time and we weren't so impressed with our food. It was a total of 5 of us, each having ordered an appetizer and main course. The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. We tried a wine recommended by the waiter and it was not good at all. My aunt and cousin ordered a rack of lamb chops a piece and my aunt's dish was undercooked, so it was sent back for fish and chips that she said were decent. My mom ordered the red snapper, which she said was very underwhelming. I ordered the crabcakes (tiny) and shrimp fettuccini. I actually enjoyed the pasta dish, but for the amount of food, the price is not worth it. A plus is how the food is plated. The chef pays attention to specific details, and it is very exquisite and nice to look at. Overall, I'm not sure if I would want to revisit.

Wanted to love this place as a new comer to the area and community and we got sick. Yes sick, me and my husband were both extremely ill from the steak we ordered. No stomach issues from either one of us, and we eat all kinds of food. No allergies to anything. The steak smelled sour when we got it home and opened the box, almost a little off. But we both agreed it would probably be safe to eat. No . Definitely no. We both literally ran to the toilet multiple times all Saturday night and I am not joking my stomach was killing me. I have yet to call the restaurant... kinda hesitant but this was definitely not the experience I was expecting. I will say the crab cakes were phenomenal salad was great. But man the steaks were rotten. We eat steak often and no issues, also the fact it happened to both of us was a HUGE red flag. Also we got the exact same cut of meat.

When we asked about drinks she brought over the bartender Josh, who was just as awesome! He made us a few bartender special beverages and you could taste the passion this man has for the job! Bravo to the staff, if we lived locally this would be a spot we would frequently regular at! The inside of the restaurant felt very grounded and well put together, and the patio looked just as cozy! We were recommended the Caesar salad from a server we ran into outside the restaurant which is what brought us into the restaurant. They make an in house dressing which had great flavor notes! The croutons were nice and airy, and the lettuce was perfectly crispy, a great Caesar salad. We ordered the cowboy burger and the steak sandwhich as our entrees with a side of Brussel sprouts and green beans. The burger was fantastic! Great balance of ingredients and a good size burger, very filling. The steak on my sandwich was so tender but it was a bit salty for my taste. My brussel sprouts also felt a little undercooked, but I still believe this restaurant deserves five stars because of the service they provide and the menu they curated

I had the Lobster Spinach Queso, it was very flavorful. Was looking for more of a crunch to the chips, but otherwise very flavorful. I believe the seasonal ancient grains and vegetables would have been better paired with some type of gravy or sauce. I also had (the best part of my meal) the 5 Layer Lemon Cake, with the blueberry topping...soooo good! The ambiance was light and celebratory! Kudos again to India! In fact none of it is. My date's steak although wrapped in bacon, was extremely salty. I had the Shrimp & Grits .. and man The andouille sausage was AMAZING. Shrimp was a bit tough. But the grits? The worse plate of grits I've ever had in my life. It was utter mush, which is okay if that's how you cook it but it's supposed to be cheese grits and I didn't taste anything cheese about it. No seasoning. Grease around the edges. I literally got a little nauseous looking at it after a while because I thought of how that would upset my stomach. No offense but if you're going to claim to be this fine dining restaurant, at least put out the quality in food.. Other than that the setting and environment was pretty chill. And also cold but that's okay, it is super hot outside. We will not be returning.

Italian is my favorite food, so I went in with an open mind and was extremely pleased. First, the interior of this establishment was very impressive. It reminded me of a New York/LA vibe in downtown Montgomery. (With much better parking, of course. Lol). The seats were in a part of the restaurant that provided a view consistent with a VIP experience. Our server was extremely helpful, expedient, and thoughtful. From the meatballs, chicken, and Duck Lasagna, there wasn't one morsel that was not, absolutely, succulent. The meatballs were seasoned to their core. The chicken was very tasty and the sauce served with it was perfection. Now, the duck lasagna, that was the show-stealer. I was very interested on how this would taste, but soon found myself abandoning my table manners and diving right in. After dinner, I was given a complimentary dessert, and get this, a card signed by everyone in the restaurant wishing me a happy birthday. Chef's Kiss. As if that wasn't enough, I was given a complimentary drink for my birthday at the rooftop bar where I was treated to the best rum punch (bartender's recipe with blackberries) I've ever had in my life. The vibe, scene, and Mississippi Delta blues made for a perfect birthday outing! I will be going back as soon as I'm back in the city.
