It's very easy to mess but if you drive slowly, it is literally right next to the building. You turn in and there should be a wellness center on your left. Continue to go forward and turn left and the parking garage is there. It has multiple levels going down. It's typically about $1 for an hour and no they do not validate. There is free parking nearby in another garage but for a dollar to be able to walk up and be right there is much better in my opinion. When you arrive, you call the phone number on the front door and they come unlock the door to let you in the inside. Has multiple VR experiences aside from VR room itself. There are multiple spaces so more than one group could have an experience at the same time. Once you sign the waivers, they take you back to your space that is reserved and put the headsets on for you. After putting on the headset to your timer starts and you start your gaming experience. Pretty easy to understand instructions from the game guide. Just try your best not to walk into any walls and respect the boundaries. It's a lot of fun. Sometimes the airflow is not great so you definitely feel sweaty on your face but other times they'll turn on the fans and it feels good the whole time you're there. Definitely great for less active activity but still very engaging. They don't really explain the game to you and kind of leave you to figure it out on your own, but the games are not super complicated to understand. The game guides are pretty nice and quick to help out with technical issues. You cannot hear other games that are happening at the same time as you. They are there and the space is open, but VR headset quickly muffles out any other sound so it's very easy to focus on your own game. Great place if you don't have anything to do for an hour in the afternoon. And it's so close to the 3rd St Promenade that you can walk over and experience that when you're done. We typically like to walk over to Go Greek on Ocean Avenue afterward for a fun FroYo snack.

Our medium rugs took around 4 hours as newbies and they were very kind with not rushing us. Pricing was fair when comparing the cost of tufting at other locations. We also were the only ones tufting so we had a pretty private space! Service was overall really great. Michael (?) and a woman with cool circle glasses checked in on us frequently and even helped review our progress multiple times. I had made some drag marks and holes in my rug and they helped patch it up when we picked them up However, I removed a star due to Sam. She helped us initially and gave clear instructions. But throughout her explanation she called my husband "babe" two times... Honestly I was shocked and even asked my husband if I heard her properly the first time - and I regret not addressing it then and there directly. Maybe it was a slip up, but I did not appreciate her calling my husband an affectionate pet name. Would strongly encourage her to refrain from that language and to keep all interactions professional for future patrons.

While it says the show is 7 to 10 PM we were unable to get out of there until almost 11. This really ruined our after event plans, as we had no way to gracefully leave. The show was running late (there was a big lag between the salad and entrée with no activities or instructions on what to do during that awkward lull), and when finally it was "solved" (about 10:40pm), the performers and host positioned themselves in front of the only room exit, so they could introduce cast members. And after that-then even though it was 10:45PM, while they were still blocking the exit, they opted to single out everyone who had a birthday or anniversary, and sing happy birthday not once but twice in Long form. We really wanted to leave, and it was impossible. I've been to many murder, mystery evenings, and never been to one that there were not props involved. Usually there are evidence Props placed all around the room and included on the evidence table with diagrams, etc. So it was disappointing that no real thought went into creating "evidence". For over $650 for 6 of us (we bought cocktails at the bar), and our after plans completely ruined due to us not being able to get out until almost at 11 o'clock, I probably would have given this a two star rating but the food was very good and the actors at our table were fun to be around.

The spacing and detection software was less accurate and the shooting game was almost unrealistic in terms of our ability to keep up with storyline and not die.

What kind of hunt was this?! I was so intrigued, I immediately called my best group of friends and spread the word - we had something super cool to do for Halloween! The night of the event was great! I don't want to reveal all of the details (that's that fun in it!), but the event was challenging and fun. We learned alot of about Hollywood and had a great time doing it. I would definitely recommend this to someone who literally enjoys thinking outside of the box. One of their next events is based around Hollywood scandals. So the day of the scavenger hunt arrives & Kristin's on-time & completely patient with the chaos going on in our office. Each team got a polaroid camera & a list of clues... and we're off! We ran around the city taking silly pictures & deciphering clues. Trying to throw our competitors off the trail when we could. You get points for creativity as well as finding the clues.... so that made for some fun photo ops! We ended at a hotel bar and had a drink while Kristin tallied the scores! My team won (and not because we were the ones who hired Kristin, but because we're awesome)! Ok - so the point of this long review is this: Hire Out of the Box Events. They're top-notch!!! Chef May did a fantastic job walking us through how to prepare each dish before releasing us to our own individual stations, easing my concern that I would screw things up. When we needed any assistance, she was right there to jump in and provide support. I would be amiss if I didn't mention the best part of the class which is eating the food we made. Every dish was delicious. I especially loved the Pan Con Tomate and Jamon Serrano, and Pork Belly with Membrino Glaze. I would definitely recommend taking a class here. The class structure made it hard to learn honestly. instead of cooking step by step together, all instructions were given at once and we were left to cook independently, which was overwhelming and difficult to remember details like which ingredients to add/when, how long to cook things for and proper technique, especially for beginners. A power outage that required sharing burners added to the disorganization. We were also surprised to be required to share ingredients (including raw meat) with someone we didn't know across from us, which felt awkward for an expensive date experience. There was no clear wrap up at the end, and people began eating and leaving without much direction. Again our chef was great, and we enjoyed the stories and history behind the dishes, but overall the cooking lesson experience didn't match the cost or the hands on learning we were expecting.
