First watch out for sneaky broker fees that he never verbally informed me of and snuck it in the agreement...I'm just noticing that now..smh..WHATEVS...but now My emails have been consistently ignored when I needed to make changes to my rental insurance...once I notified him my plans to cancel or modify my rental agreement from 1 year to 6 month (bc my apartment management made me sign a 6 month lease when they usually make me sign a 1 year lease) then I noticed I was charged a renewal fee of $98 for a one year policy after just 3 months...his excuse when I asked about the renewal charge was, "I can charge the renewal charge at any point I want."...even after just 3 months when the policy is for a year...and I just told you several times I want to shorten the policy?? BS! Then I told him he has to notify me before he charges me..and he said he sent an email...not true..and when I asked him to forward the email...nothing...and when I spoke to him he was unapologetic, had a major attitude, and told me he would charge me the $75 early cancellation fee (which was at his discretion)...even after a previous email stating he'd take care of me. !!!!!!BE WARNED OF $150 broker fee for rental insurance. He did not appropriately disclose this fee, because there is no way I'd pay $150 on a $220 policy! BOGUS!!! He is now ignoring me and refuses to forward me the email he sent about the "renewal fee". WHAT A SCAM! I have still yet to get a refund after being charged a renewal fee just 3 months into the policy...Its been almost a week of my texts and emails being ignored...I can't even get a response except on here...smh. Alan was great quick and easy when he's getting money...but once you need help adjusting a policy or getting a refund for being wrongfully charged, he will flip. He still has yet to apologize for overcharging me...I AM BEYOND SHOCKED! SMH...I will be contacting the guy who referred him to me from my car dealership and letting him know about his horrible customer service and lying on customers on yelp when they have receipts smh ‍‍ UNBELIEVABLE...and I'm a therapist smh...thought I've seen and heard it all...INTEGRITY IS NOT HERE. He will make up fees that are not even legal I contacted the insurance company and they stated that there should not be any annual fees from this company only the insurance companies should charge annual fee. The worst experience. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ALAN.. The reviews left on this are bias and not true.. First off I sent him a request for a quote and he replied immediately asking me for my contact information (phone number) I gave it to him, and he said he will call me in 45mins-he also text me to let me know he would be calling soon.. he did not call me .. so I sent him a text - asking him what he would need me to have on hand- he text me back asking to text him my information (license number, address, vin.. etc. That was odd because he told me he was going to call me. But I sent it over to him. It then took him another 30 mins to call me the first time. He quoted me before he even looked into my record - he also went on about his 5 stars that he has on his yelp and requested that I leave him a review. Not a problem.. I asked him to send me the quote in writing so I can get it started. He said he would need payment information first. So I told him I would call him back with that. I did.. and he did not answer - text me back and said he would call me back. Called me back got my credit card information- as we agreed to a quote and monthly payment. He then proceeds to tell me that since I don't need my insurance right away he would call me back later when he processed the payment and sent the email for me to sign and send back. WHO DOES THAT- what type of business takes your information and card and doesn't process the payment right away. I waited from 9-4 o'clock - at this point I'm getting very frustrated. So I text him and ask when is he going to send the information. He text me back 25 mins later saying In an hour. Calls me back and says that because of my record the initial payment went up 65 dollars from what I was quoted- and tried to charge my card anyway- thankfully I only put the amount in my card that he quoted me so it declined - but he didn't feel the need to call me and tell me that the price went up and he would charge my card still (UNPROFESSIONAL) then proceeds to tell me that the monthly payment went up double what I was quoted.
