I placed the order with my school and they give me a printed form to take to ANYYY quest. I make an appointment online, I show up to my appointment and the lady (who was chewing her gum very unprofessionally) told me at first they don't do urine test at this specific location. I told her it's impossible and she said well we do but I can't do it for you today. I told her everyone scans the paper and is able to do it. EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE BEEN TO A QUEST THROUGH SCHOOL THIS IS THE PROCESS. Last I checked I wasn't blind and I can see how the process is done. She then refuses to even scan my paper and says she can't do it. Very unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude. If you don't know how to do your job please find another job elsewhere. If you have an appointment you'll still encounter a wait and if you're on the standby list even more so like I was today. I was able to run out and back home to grab something I left at home, but got called shortly after I was back. Quest Diagnostics has an easy patient portal/website to navigate. I had a fairly smooth visit for routine labs. The space for Quest - Sherman Oaks needs a bit of tlc inside the offices, you can tell things have just be refreshed with paint, but overall dated. Parking is shared with The Oaks Healthcare Campus center along with Mend Urgent Care, a pharmacy and others. You can find this Q.D. on the second floor via stairs or elevator in room/suite 208. Open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am til 4:30pm

This place is run like a factory and yes, it's highly run down but they get the job done. If you are tech savvy, you don't even need to talk to a single person which I love. I booked my appointment online, I checked in via a text they sent to my phone, I sat in the waiting room for 5 minutes, went into a room where my lab requests were already loaded, had my blood drawn and I was out the door. I came pretty early morning, so they didn't really have a backup of patients but it was a total of about 18 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out. I value my time and as long as the needles are sterile, thats all that matters (to me). I get nervous about blood draws and Martha was my phlebotomist. She was super kind and talked me through it, even though I know she has to cycle through probably 100 people in her shift as quickly as possible. This is a place where patients are literally treated as cattle, going through the same motions over and over all day, but she was really great. Tip: the parking lot attached to the building is about $2 per 15 min but there is a neighborhood directly behind the building where you can park for free, just check the signs.

Whew, I got the results and could board my flight... ! I went to the Beverly Hills Clinic on a weekday at 10 am. There is metered parking outside the medical building. As a nurse, I know what to look for and appreciate when you can tell someone actually cares about their work. I can't remember who helped me last time (though I think she was in the first cubby on the right, sometime last year), but I was having around 20 vials of blood drawn including some very specialized labs, & she took her time ensuring she had all the right tubes for the right labs, as well as enough of them. She also found a billing error in my chart, which she facilitated the correction of. As far as I know, she did not have to do that; it was above and beyond. Today I had my blood drawn by Jamus (I think that's what his name tag said, I'm sorry if I misremembered!) and he got more than he bargained for when he asked me how my weekend was and my response was "rough." But instead of shying away from what could've been an awkward conversation, we had a laugh, and he asked me what happened. He was very sweet to listen & sympathize with me, especially as a fellow pet parent. He didn't have to do that either! He was also very gentle with the blood draw & let me know before I left how long the labs were expected to take to process. This location is also not overly crowded, and they do have a parking structure, though they unfortunately don't validate. I was able to find street parking today but I don't remember it being as expensive as the parking for the Quest locations in Burbank near the hospital. I'm always in and out in about 10 minutes total. The nurses/ workers are also sooo friendly and always provide excellent customer service. They always answer any questions and I've never had a bad experience here. Nor have i ever had an issue with them poking me and not finding my veins. For test results, i use the quest app and they post them there for me to see which i think is amazing. Theres parking in the lot but you do have to pay. I always just park on the street. Only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes it gets kind of musty in the waiting room if there's a lot of people.

When my two-year-old decided her Saturday morning must-have accessory would be a high fever, I high-tailed it to EUC, and as she tested positive for the FLU, I was positive this was only the beginning of this viral voyage. Elite Urgent Care saw a lot of our family that week, and although kicking off the holiday season at any urgent care isn't exactly ideal, our experience from first front desk phone call to actual physician assessment was exceptional. In addition to treating my girls- they took the time to examine ME- ensuring I had all the resources and meds necessary to expedite my own recovery, enabling me to multitask caring for my flu-infested offspring. Thanks to Dr. Zadorian and the ENTIRE EUC staff, we're all back to 100% and ready to ring in the new year, flu free.
