The one star is for the decent work the guys did cleaning the car. I came into this business for the 1st time because an hour or so earlier. Something was spilled on the floor in the backseat & needed to be cleaned. The reason why this place looses 4 stars? First of all there are 4 types of car washes you can choose. Each choice adds to the amount of work done & of course the cost of the wash. When you come in, no one walks up to you asking which car wash you prefer. The buisness will automatically assume you want the most expensive one. Although in this case that's exactly what I wanted. A business should never assume what you want to purchase & just charge you their expensive item just because. So as an FYI this is a warning to be proactive & let them know what you want before the choice is made for you.
When I did try to tell the workers there what i wanted, they said I needed to speak to the person in charge. Who conveniently was no where to be found. The register area was unmanned & not until 6-7 min after did he emerge. When I asked about their option #4 which is there "complete works" option. I asked about the small print that said it only includes cleaning of the 2 front carpets. I told him the reason I came there was to have my back carpet cleaned. Asked if there was a difference in cost to do those carpets. Or if they could only work on 2 then I would prefer the back vs the front carpets to be cleaned. He said it's no problem. He will make sure all the carpets are clean for me. Then gave me a smile & wink & walked away. I asked again if there was a difference in the cost of the wash. He said not to worry. It will be taken care of. Which of course it was... But not in the way I expected. When I went to pay at the register the same man who I asked if there was an addition ale charge, charges almost 50% more of what the cost to clean the entire car?!? The amount isn't really this issue here. It had to get clean one way or another. But I've should of been told that there would be an extra cost. Especially since I asked & it was of a significant amount. This way a consumer has the option to accept or decline. That is how proper buisness should be run. When I asked the gentlemen why he didn't tell me that there was a cost when I asked. He said I didn't specifically asked how much it was, so it was my fault. Needless to say. This is my first & last visit to this place. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews. But I dislike dishonest buisness & feel people should have the heads up when they might encounter one. read more
