We took my down coat there to be cleaned. When we left it there was fur trim on the hood; which I thought would be dry cleaned too. We were told it would take more than a week to clean it because it was a down jacket. The person that took in my coat never asked any questions or said anything about the fur trim. When my husband picked up the coat there wasn't a fur trim piece on the hood any longer. My husband went back and was told there wasnt anything left behind. "No hood..no fur." I called and spoke to the owner who told me that, "I should check too because no hood, no fur came with coat. Coat is special clean and I charge you coat price only." Again being told there wasnt a hood or fur on the coat. The hood is attached. I sent pictures of the coat WITH the fur on the hood, etc. Owner told me it wasnt that coat and I should look too. There wasnt anything found. I said they charged me almost half the cost of what I paid for the coat to clean it, and asked what he would do about that as they clearly misplaced the trim piece. I was told it was MY fault and OT theirs. "No fur. No hood." We have sent many articles of clothing to VIP. Cleaners and have never had an issue. However we wont be sending anything more to them because of their error and lack of responsibility for their mistake. Terrible! Terrible! I made the mistake and took an expensive gown to get it shortened which is a pretty straight forward alteration. When I recieved the dress they had not only shortened it but removed its pockets and the flowy material of the dress. The dress was all bunched up on the sides with a bad sawing job. When I asked why they did that, the owner said they thought it was strange that a dress had pockets so the tailor removed it!! I was not contacted or consulted what so ever! So bizzare. Even worse, they threw away all the extra material they removed, so I couldn't even fix the dress!! I have never in my life seen such incompetence and they offered nothing in return for the mess they made. Do not go here if you have an expensive dress to alter, heck not even for a cheap dress!! read more

The best service and quality I've ever had. The owners are very prompt, easy to communicate, and friendly. I had few shirts that had heavy stains, and they all came back very clean! Also, there is no chemical scent which I think is really important. I highly recommend this place to anyone. At least give it a try! read more

been here a couple of times for some basic alterations. they are a pretty honest shop and thus far have been pretty satisfied with the quality and the price. wish they would give me a discount after dropping a couple hundred over the last year on alterations but nothing yet lol. still wont stop me from coming here since after my last episode at a dry cleaners in the area...you realize that sometimes a premium is worth avoiding a potential nightmare. Much more expensive than nearby competitors. It cost $35 to dry clean a practically new wool coat which was almost as much as what we paid for the coat. Just wanted to freshen it up. Will go elsewhere next time. After calling around, other cleaners charge only $16-$20. If they give you a pickup day, it's by the end of that day, not first thing that day. They did not seem to care that they charged so much more. read more

When I got my suit back, though my jacket seemed fine, I realized my pants were ruined. Several holes were made in the fabric. The manager, Chris, insisted this could not happen at his store. However, it did. I demanded my money back and wanted to know if they had insurance for damaged clothing, but he only gave me back the cost of cleaning the pants themselves ($5.50) after a lengthy discussion. Seriously? I continued to argue my point and eventually he gave me the full cleaning refund ($13.25). The pants are probably worth a couple hundred dollars and I'm arguing for pocket change. A customer who saw the whole exchange came up to me as I was getting into my car to compliment me on keeping my cool as this person admitted it would be impossible for him to do so if this happened to him. Terrible experience! I recently had a very nice shirt cleaned here that was only worn for a short time - and only one time with a suit jacket on. When I put it on after it came back from VIP cleaners it had a big hole in the sleeve - an incredibly obvious hole that I would not have missed. I took it back and the guy denied it was them even though they were the first cleaner to get their hands on it. read more

I brought in 2 men's shirts on a Wednesday, needing for a wedding Saturday night. They said 'Saturday'; stupid me thought that meant by open of business Sat they'd be ready (I didn't confirm though....), so I agreed and left them. Hubby went to pick up at 11: first they couldn't find the items, then after 5 min, they said they weren't ready, could we come back at 1. So.....this is two hours, and how many hours are between Wed and Sat that they couldn't do them? He said fine; we ended up buying shirts since wedding was out of town and we needed to leave town. A single bad experience at an inopportune time is more remembered than regular decent service when time is not a factor. Oh....3 very recent reviews, then the last one in 2016? I am new to VIP cleaners and did not read a review. I took professional lab coats to be altered and were not ready when promised. Also a sweater was to be dry cleaned and is not back and its over one week. Owner looked like he couldn't find my items and then while waiting for him to charge me I notice one of the pockets is torn or cut. When I asked what happened he argued with me that I did this with a knife. I had inspected these before dropping them off, trying them on and pinning them myself. No cut was there and he would not take responsibility for this and proceeded to argue with me. I feel I was also overcharged, they don't quote a price and that's on me for not pressing the issue but when I dropped them off it was a young woman who was not clear on much. I will get my things and NEVER go back nor will I recommend them to anyone. Bad place don't go! read more

Worst cleaning experience ever. Was working in the area and dropped off five shirts and a pair of pants. It took sixteen days to get them back (after I had to be out of town for another work assignment) and they were so wrinkled, I had to take them to another cleaners. (Cleaning ticket verification M 9141 - drop off date 6/23/2016). I will NEVER... EVER use them again! read more

I've been using VIP for two years now. Consistent service for dry-cleaning. I've never had any clothes damaged there, so I can't comment on the other posts. Never had any issues with the quality of the service. You do need to specify how you want sweaters handled (hung or folded). read more

I had been a customer of VIP for over 10 years. One day i needed measurements for a suit done for a wedding and asked them to do it. They refused. I even offered to pay. They still refused. This is is very poor customer service that unfortunately extends to their cleaning service. Go elsewhere. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I would give it zero stars if possible. I dropped off three items and ended up making five trips to pick everything up, which was completely ridiculous and a complete waste of my time. I will try to make this brief. I dropped off three items and attempted to pick them all up three days after my slip says they would be ready. I go straight from work and sit in boat loads of traffic to get there, only to be told that they can't find one of my three items. The woman working, who is completely clueless, gets the Mgr. on her phone and tries multiple times to get me to talk to him on her cell phone. I make it clear I have no interest in speaking with him and just want her to find my item that was to have been completed three days ago!! So, utterly frustrated, I leave with 2 out of 3 items only to go home and find a stain smack on the front, middle of my blouse that was NOT there when I dropped it off a few weeks ago. WTF! So, I return the next day and the guy was able to give me my third item that the woman couldn't find last night, and I tell him about the stain on my blouse and give it to him to re-do. It was going to be ready over the weekend, but because I was busy, I go after work on Tuesday to pick it up- three days after it was supposed to be ready. The useless woman working there again, can't find it and calls the Mgr. again. SAME NONSENSE AS LAST TIME. This time though, I take her phone and lay into him, although he can't really understand what I am saying. Another wasted trip and waste of my time. So, I return for the 5th time the next day on my lunch break and the Mgr. is once again there and has my blouse. He makes no attempt to apologize and just says that the lady in the evenings is PT. Why are they open if they can't help customers? Then, he will not reimburse the $6.50 cleaning cost for the blouse they ruined, never mind the full value I paid. The stain on the middle is now faint, but I can still see it. And GUESS WHAT, there is another NEW spot on the shoulder now. Are you kidding me?! I despise this place and it makes my blood boil.
