Honestly should be ZERO STARS! It was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I came in to get a pedicure and waited OVER an hour to be seen (I wasn't told this checking in just told to sit down and they'd be with me soon). While I was waiting for over an hour the other customers getting a pedicure looked like they were doing a great job but when I was finally seen the lady skipped over a ton of things (cutting, filling, pushing back my cuticles, clipping by the toe nails). She DROPPED the tools on the FLOOR multiple times and just brushed it off and then went to use the same tool on my foot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]continued to sigh and act like it was a burden and she moved incredibly slow once again it took over an hour and my nails turned out okay at best, but I won't be going out without socks on for sure![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just to get to paying and get charged $85 for things that did not happen. I needed a pedicure and stopped in, hoping this place wouldn't be too busy on a Thursday afternoon. I was welcomed with a kind hello and walked right to a chair, no one else was in the entire salon except someone getting a mani. It appeared very clean and it smelled so nice in the salon. The lady who took care of me was pleasant and kind, offering me a drink and asking as she went along if it everything was okay. She gave the BEST foot massage I've ever had! This place doesn't get the love it deserves! I went for a last minute pedicure and they were able to accommodate me with open arms. Pedicure- the gentleman John who took care of me was the sweetest and attentive. Every step of the way he made sure the massage pressure was ok and that he massaged all the part of my leg that was "tired" if that makes sense. Had a great experience at this salon. The place was empty on a Friday afternoon so I was kinda hesitant. But decided to give it a try! They were very friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We told them we were here for pedicures and they brought over the menu. I paid $45 +tip for a "basic" gel pedicure . They gave your a massage, and even a scrub. Everything looked nice and clean. The whole salon looks very clean. They even offered complementary drinks. Will definitely be back again! read more

I really wanted to like this place. But it failed. I came in for a redo on my dip polish and an express pedicure. The pedicure was fine, no qualms there. But the dip nails. Omg. The color selection leaves a lot to be desired. He didn't do the base powder before applying the actual SNS color powder. It's been approximately 23 hours since I paid for my services and I've had not one, not two, but 3 different nails break or just come completely off. They are my real nails. The polish shouldn't even be able to pop off. None of my nails are the same length or shape. He cut my nail beds and they are now aching. There was no cuticle oil placed on them afterwards. I have been to a number of salons In Jacksonville and I can say whenever I come to this one they are respectful. They don't rush their work , as well as if you don't like something about your nails they are quick to correct it without a fuss. The environment itself is very clean, during COVID times they have individual screens and keep everyone at a distance for sanitary purposes. Went to get my lashes done on Tuesday and they looked beautiful but the lady didn't seem to really know what she was doing. She didn't tape down my bottom lashes or anything and my lashes would keep sticking so she would have to pull on my eyelids to unstick it. She was very sweet and friendly but inexperienced. I was instructed by my bank to have in writing that I am not authorizing any amount over the $120 which I was unhappy with even being paid to be deducted from my account. I was left with red raw skin around my toes due to my gel polish being removed with an emery board and my nails being filed so thin that even with gel polish over them they bend. I am truly worried about hitting my toe and ripping off my nail. I also asked for a cut down in which I got half a nail cut. This was by far the most disappointing of pedicures. When I asked for a refund I was given $5 dollars back for the gel polish removal. read more

Lived in Jville for almost a year and just found this place . I had a regular nail salon I went too, but shortly after I got sick of the unprofessionalism, so VIP nails was perfect . I got right in when they opened, and had an amazing Pedicure ( they were gentle enough to not risk inducing labor , I am 36 weeks ) and while I was getting my Pedicure I was also getting my tips done . I was asked many times if I needed anything, a drink .. they also talked to you like you were a friend and not a customer , or a number / paycheck. While I was done with the Acrylic and Pedi, I also got my eyebrows done, which she did amazing on, and lastly I got eyelash extensions -- it was my first time getting them, and it was difficult because my eyes kept reacting, and the glue wouldn't stick, eventually it did and glued my eye shut , but that was totally my fault ! I picked my color and sat down, all went well until it didn't. My nails came out awful not worth the money. When they cut my nail they left it bloody and a mess. The guy carelessly used his tools on my nails while having his eyes wandering elsewhere. His file was scratching my other fingers while filing my nails and that gave me a lot of discomfort. I requested dip powder and he saw that he had done a bad job (because I saw him look at my nails back and forth) but continued on without caring to fix it. Because I work at a salon, I expected him to fix my nails after realizing he had done a bad job, but since he let me leave with bad nails, I decided I would leave this review instead. Also, he didn't measure the nail tips to match my nail width before gluing; he randomly guessed and glued them on. Some of them don't fill my whole nail. I'm disappointed. read more

The guy that did mine and my mother's pedicure was amazing took his time and it was super relaxing. Now for all the bad.... CHECK YOUR RECEIPT/BANK after paying. My mother was overcharged. We both heard $117 and didn't think of anything because that sounded about right. Well turns out she was charged $170. We both got deluxe pedicure $35 each, I got a gel full set $40 and my mom got a gel manicure price still unknown because now where is listed the cost of gel upgrade regular manicure Is $18. She called once she saw the total on her bank app to ask why we were charged so much initially told because we got the "VIP pedi" we didn't and so he had us come all the way in to see. He then tried to tell me it was because I had nails on before The new set, I did not I hadn't gotten my nails done since Pre covid. Then told me we'll it's an extra $5 for coffin nails and that he told me that which he did not and I had to even fix them when I got home. But him still trying to justify the $170 amount tried to say my mom got acrylic over her nails she did not it was her natural SHORT nails so he said $30 when I asked how much the gel upgrade was from polish he could not give me an answer and then I told him she had gel not shellac he told me it was the the same thing. He also then tried to say that they put on a "fake nail" on one of my moms toes she has all her nails. Attempt after attempt of trying to justify the $170 charged. So BEWARE double check your cost. What was supposed to be a relaxing event for my mom visiting NC honestly was just terrible and I tipped $25 on top of that. Her nails were thick and uneven. Mine were rushed, crooked and the polish layered super thin that held to the light you can see through them. read more

When I went to pay he said $68. $20 and $18 for each kid. I was too tired to argue so I paid it. The polish job sucked.
