Just tried this place for mani and love their service and quality of work. They are very friendly and the place is very modern and inviting. Price is very affordable! I like the extra touch of moisturizing my hand while getting my mani. They add a drop of vitamin c with hand lotion which my hand really needed (it was very dry) followed by hot towel rinse. Rushed pedicure, took about 13 min decent paint job the inside is very nice and clean but don't think I'd come back

I went to go get my no-chip manicure removed. During the process, the manicurist nicked my skin twice, making it bleed, and then also filed my cuticle tearing my skin. I didn't even get an apology. Then, when I called over the phone to make an appointment, I was told $5, but when I had to pay in person, I was charged $10. I'm giving this review two stars because at least she reshaped and filed my nail beds after she removed the no-chip polish. read more

Very unprofessional. I kept asking for one specific manicurist. Manager no problem. When I got there the manicurist was not available.

I went here for a manicure pedicure with someone else for a girls day. My pedicure was fine, my person was very kind and took her time and the entire thing was enjoyable and well done. Following the pedicure, she put my nail polish away. My cousins person brought her nail polish over to the manicure tables and at this point mine realized I was getting a manicure as well. At this point, she seemed to get crabby and frustrated. I have naturally shaky hands due to chronic illness and medication. I have never had a nail tech be rude to me about it. She grabbed my hand tightly and demanded I stop moving. I explained the shaky hands. She didn't say another word afterwards. When my cousins manicure was finished, she was walked over to the dryers, and the chair was pulled out for her and fans turned on. When mine finished, the foam shoes were yanked off my feet, I was unassisted in putting on my flip flops (not sure why we didn't just use those in the first place) and she pointed at the dryers and said "go over there." I was offered no assistance. In the mix of carrying my things and pulling out the chair/turning on the dryers for myself, I nicked two of my nails. When I told her, she scoffed and went to get my nail color. She tried to paint over the chip, leaving both nails chunky and then demanded I put them under the dryer. She stormed off and I looked at them and decided I had to say something. She came back over and goes "I told you to put that under the dryer" so I politely asked if we were going to leave it chunky. "I'm going to put a second coat" she said. I explained that would still look chunky, apologized for nicking the nails and asked if she would please fix them. (I had already paid at this point, and given a good tip). Here's where I was extra caught off guard- she yelled at me "well, I didn't do it!" ... I have never personally nicked my nails at a salon, but I have been many places where I have seen it happen to other people and I have never ever heard a customer talked to that way. Following that, while we were sitting drying our nails, this same person was pulling out chairs and aggressively mopping next to us, clearly annoyed that we were there. I gave this two stars because the atmosphere was clean and I enjoyed the pedicure. Because of the nail techs attitude and rudeness, we will not be back. read more

This is my second time at VIP Nails and I couldn't be happier with Beth my pedicure and no-chip manicure. Not only did the no chip last over 3 weeks but when it was soaked off my nails were not damaged at all!! Both times the technician was amazing. They listened to what I wanted with my shape and were spot on. The first time I had the owners sister (sorry can't remember her name) and this time I had Meg!! Both were awesome. The salon itself is gorgeous. Beautifully laid out and sparkling clean. And the owner is a beautiful person. Making sure we are always happy and helping with choosing colours!! My new favorite nail salon! A very small, intimate nail salon which I loved! Oka is nothing short of awesome! She took her time with my mani/pedi and made sure that I was relaxed and comfortable during my visit. I told Oka that I wanted a pedi and she offered to paint my nails for free because she said that she wanted me to look pretty when I went to dinner that night (and she had a few extra minutes before her next client). This place is amazing! I just moved to the area and needed to find a new nail salon. Luckily I noticed VIP on my way home one day and decided to give it a shot because the yelp pics were super cute. My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to pedis and manis (his first ever!) and they were nothing short of incredible! The salon is not only adorable but also very clean.
