This place has no customer service They did my front windshield tint xpel ceramic on my g63 G wagon within a week I noticed bubbles on the left driver corner. I contacted a girl that works in the front. She said no problem bringing it. We will replace it with a new tint A couple months of not having time to take care of it I was able to bring it in today and the owner comes out and using a knife to make pocket holes to get rid of the bubbles. I told him this is an expensive tint. I spent a lot of money on it, and I'm not happy with that pocket knife getting rid of the bubbles. I need you to replace my tint as I was told. The girl was saying yes you could go ahead and replace the windshield tint if you're not happy on the long run, but the husband was saying no we're not gonna issue a refund or replace it.. he said I don't see bubbles because he fixed it with the pocket knife.. And aggressive behavior approaching me Bottom line will do this with an attorney. Do not take your business her their scam bags. If you have bubbles on your ceramic Xpel they will not replace your tint and they will use a pocket knife to fix it. When the bubble areas have been try and it will pill of the tint eventually. They showed zero customer service. They have lied to me and what the action they're going to do on the phone call prior to coming to them as such as agreeing to replace the tint that was not the case. The husband was very aggressive and did not treat customers like a customer more like a street fight street tone attitude aggressiveness. read more

Having moved to the area I was looking for a good window tinting spot for my brand new Tesla Model 3. In the past, I have taken my cars to places in the valley that were top notch and did my tints to perfection. After seeing the reviews, I decided to give this shop a try. What a mistake I made. After the service, they told me to wait a few weeks for the bubbles to go away. Well, after 2 months, they never did and I took it back. There were bubbles on my driver side window and throughout the back. They were able to fix my side window. Then for the back, this is what they said: They said the back were not "bubbles" but it was called "contamination." They said there is no way to get rid of "contamination." She said ALL cars have this contamination. However, in my previous cars, I never had "contamination" that to me look like bubbles. My previous tints when all looks tinted, smooth with not bubbles/contamination. Check out the picture below and you will see the "contamination." She told me ALL her cars have contamination. I have little bubbles/contamination throughout the entire back window. She told me they could remove the tint and try again, but chances on a model 3 tesla was that removing the tint would break the heater lines in the back window. So I guess i'm going to live with the bubbles in the back window... or I mean "contamination." If you have a TESLA, then I would suggest you go elsewhere or you will end up with "contamination". I really wish I would have gone to where I previously did my previous tints and drove 45 min away. read more

Found VIP Recon on Yelp, filled out a quote request. Their response time was pretty quick, sent my car info and was provided a quote for tinting all the windows. Was able to get an appointment in for the next day morning. Met by friendly staff and was provided detailed info on the choices of tint. Entire process from checking in, going over the type of tint I want placed, and making payment at the end of the service took around 1.5hours. While you wait they have coffee and water you can grab, have plenty of cute waiting areas inside to chill out in. Overall great experience. Tint looks great so far, will update on how they look in a while after they've been outside in the Valencia heat. read more

Second time going to VIP Recon, I was quoted $608 for removal of old tint, new tint install and a sun strip on a 2018 Dodge Charger (aka a boat). I walked in today and handed my keys at 8am and received my car back at 1:45pm. Their was a lack of communication when I was waiting for the car to be complete. Once I received the car, the outside windows had streaks/smudges Specifically on the front windshield. All in all, I do suggest this place for tinting your car, just be aware of having little to no updates on your vehicle until it's done. DON'T DO IT! THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING HERE! CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH! Look, these guys do a great job but DO NOT fall for the quotations given to you on Yelp. I was very specific in my project details (see screen shot) stating that I need ALL windows tinted. I was quoted for ceramic on ALL windows when they responded to my quote request. So I leave my car for the day, pay the quoted amount. I pick my car back up and notice that the front windshield is not tinted like I paid for. I messaged the rep and stated that wasn't part of the job. And that I would need to pay $300 more than I already paid. I know tinting isn't cheap although you have to honor the prices that are given to you in any business. I couldn't have been anymore clear on my quote request. I was simply shopping for quotes looking for the best deal had I known it actually would not be ALL windows then I wouldn't have immediately used them. I messaged the rep about this and she basically blamed me for not looking at the menu. Why would I look at the menu if I already know what I was getting and was quoted for? She acknowledged that a sales rep responded to me and insisted that they did not make a mistake. Not to mention my receipt literally states "ALL AROUND TINT". Apparently they have their own definition of ALL AROUND. Their definition of all around is PARTIALLY around. Even though I have proof of them quoting me on ALL windows, and says all around tint they refuse to acknowledge their mistake. Instead they blame the customer who has clear proof of everything. Had they taken some accountability at the very least I would've been fine with paying the extra $300 Save yourself the headache and unethical business practices. There are many more trustworthy companies on Yelp. Yes they have 5 stars but BAIT AND SWITCH is ILLEGAL! See the screen shots, and I will upload the receipt which states "ALL AROUND TINT" as soon as possible. And you can see that I sent them zelle on this day. read more
