Repeat customer leaving another review for additional work. I had VIP Recon apply a full PPF to my car last year and the PPF had to be redone on one piece inside the front bumper I had replaced due to damage from the road. I contacted Angie and she was able to get the work done the same day and didn't charge me to reapply the PPF to the (small) piece that I replaced. They used laser cutting to make it a perfect fit for this piece, but if you are wondering they do also custom cut larger pieces if it'll make the end result better. I also had them give the car a detail as it had been a longer time between washes during the winter months. Car was ready the next morning and was in pristine condition when I picked it up! I honestly don't want to go anywhere else for my cars now because I trust the team at VIP Recon to do a great job as I've gotten to know them a little better. The person who had done the full PPF for my car last year was the same person who handled this followup work and they were happy to see the car and work on it again. The great thing about this place was that they charged a flat rate, whereas other places will charge more depending on how dirty the car is. The woman I spoke to was so kind, and the owner was so helpful in answering my questions. When I tell you my car was disgusting before the cleaning it isn't an understatement. I do a lot of road trips, and I have a pet, so that car was terrible. When I got it back I can't explain the joy I felt seeing it as clean as it was. The tinting was very well done. I did 35% on my side windows and quarter panels and it looks great with no bubbles or imperfections. They were also pretty quick about it. I got in at 10 am and had to wait in their lobby since I didn't have a ride anywhere and I live about 40 minutes away, I was out by noon including a Gold Level Interior/Exterior Detail. I'm knocking off 1 star for the detail service as it felt a little lack luster for the price. There were smudges on the windshield in a few places, the trunk clearly was not vacuumed, and they left a towel in my back seat. For a detailing that costs $200+ I would have expected all these small things to be taken care of. (They weren't a big enough deal to go back but I unfortunately didn't notice it until was driving around and the sun hit different spots of the glass, and when I pulled my mats out of the trunk after they'd dried) Would absolutely use again for tinting! (I do wish all of their staff were wearing masks... but the extremely friendly and nice front desk person was not, which is not great) read more

They're scammers. I called them and they said $200 for all-round tinting. When I arrived, it turned out $200 is a tint that lets everything through, the same as sticking a bag on the glass. A friend of mine tinted a Tesla Model 3 windshield for $549. As you can see in the picture. Corolla $499 + $299 for regular tinting that works. Why say it's $200 all around if it's not. And write the price per car if it is without windshield? It's just awful. I don't recommend it to anyone. read more

This was my first time using VIP RECON. Called on a Wednesday, had an appointment that Saturday, and the job was done an hour early. Customer service at the front desk was detail oriented and friendly. The waiting room is a very comfortable place to hang out while your car is being serviced. Shopped around for for about 2 weeks for a good paint protection film installer. After receiving various quotes and visiting at least 2 different shops, I decided to visit VIP Recon although it was located 59 miles away. I had found VIP Recon on the Xpel website list of certified installers and saw some decent ratings on yelp. I figured that I'd check out his wrapped Tesla, and if not ready to go ppf, I'd at least get tint. Checked out the Tesla, Got the tint, and was not ready to commit. We'll ultimately I was convinced I needed to get ppf, as any scratch or paint chip would just bother me. I have major ocd (the first thing I do when I buy new electronics is buy cases, screen protectors, full wraps ....I wrap every phone I have ever owned and cover every corner of it...sometimes with tape...I've wrapped laptops... and always try to keep my stuff looking new...it's like a disease). The next day I committed. Although VIP Recon did not provide the cheapest quote(but not too far more), I decided to go with them. wanted to ensure that I chose a place that I felt could potentially meet my high expectations. The reason I chose VIP Recon was primarily based on 2 reasons: 1) a clean lobby and shop (I think the tour greatly factored into it), 2) the ppf on his Tesla and the Tesla he was currently working on looked pretty cleanly done. Of course, being who I am, I was skeptical. I rarely am satisfied with services that I have purchased. Now that I have my car back, I have to say I'm surprisingly pleased with the work.
