I was a bit nervous to books with VIP since a few of their older reviews had some issues but I wouldn't let those reviews bother you since they were old and some repeats. But I mentioned it to Andrew and he gave me a peace of mind about their current fleet and any backup plans if something like a breakdown, etc were to happen. Also they are very accommodating and want you to have the best night possible. I booked the 40 person bus for my 21st, and it was a BLAST! Audio system was great and had a big sink and also a bathroom. We had the bus when it was 90 degrees+ outside so you could say it was a bit toasty inside. But overall working with "Andrew" and his driver "Tyrone" they were really professional and the highlight of the night for majority of the people in our group was the Party Bus! Terrible company to work for..Ragging busses, unprofessional, deceitful, dishonest owner, Andrew!! I was a lead driver of a 3 bus move on a 4 day DC trip in MAY 2024. 2 OF THE 3 Motorcoaches broke down on Day 2!! Lonnnnng lonnnng story short, The group hired Buses in that area to fulfill their itinerary trip. Andrew avoided both the customer and my calls. I cannot blame the customer at all for doing what they had to do. I was such a terrible mess! When I finally talked to him( while stranded on his broken down bus for 5 hours), Im upset about the whole scenario and his lack of concern his buses broke down, his customers needs answers and a back up plan( that he us solely responsible for!!, and how you leave your Drivers high and Deserted! So?I said to Andrew, "What are we going do?what are you going to do? Andrew: "I dont know what you want me to do about it, im in a plane right now headed to Vegas( with his fiance)". Told me to figure it out( lol- He's the one with the $$$ and calls the shots( approval). I WAS DUMBFOUNDED!! I Knew at that moment I QUIT! STRANDED ALL THOSE DAYS NOT HEARING FROM HIM, I had to hustle my own way back home to Ohio(And I had my 8 year old grandaughter that accompanied me on this trip, that he also had knowledge about). I used a bleach wipe to wipe everything down that was within my reach, the handles above the seat as well as the vent above me and the charger port. I've waited a couple months to write this because I didnt want to write it while still upset. But here we are and the frustration and disappointment of this company remains. First let me start by saying our driver Bonnie was great! She was very nice, fun and did the best she could to make our experience good even in a bad situation. I was skeptical of getting a party bus from this company based on the reviews that included their buses break down. I spoke to Andrew from the company who assured me these reviews were old and this would not be an issue. So I rent a party bus as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. We get on the bus it had a smell but thought you know maybe it was just a bus gas smell idk. Made it from the house to the highway. About a 10 to 12 minute distance and we stop at the entrance of the highway. Thankfully our bus driver noticed something was wrong and didnt get on to the highway. By this time the smell is not good. And there was a issue up in the tire well. Not the actual tire I'm not really sure but bad enough that it was undriveable. Of course takes a little while to get ahold of Andrew he didnt answer my calls but called the driver. Andrew says another bus is on the way and I Express that I asked him specifically about this scenario and yet here we are. He assures me he will contact me Monday and we can discuss compensation for my lost time. We had reservations at a brewery and guests waiting there for us. So because we are in the entrance of the highway state patrol showed up and had to sit with us for safety. They had their lights on to prevent us from getting hit. We sat there for an hour. We couldn't make our reservations and our other guests had to find alternative transportation to meet us as they were supposed to get on the bus at the brewery that now we could not go to. By the time we got to a location to meet up we were going on 2hrs off of our paid for 5 hours. We made the best out of our limited time. The second bus was more of a party school bus then a party bus but it was fine. A pain to then transport all of our belongings, ice, snacks beverages etc. to the other bus but fine. What makes this all even worse is do you think I got a call on Monday as promised. Nope sure didnt. So by mid afternoon I called Andrew. Of course no answer. I left a voicemail. Waited a couple hours no return call. I called from a different phone funny he answered. He tells me hes at lunch doesnt have a computer in front of him he will call me back as soon as he gets back to the office. I confirm okay that will be today and he says yes. Do I receive a call no. I then contacted my credit card company and put a hold on the payment. Suprise he calls me the next day. As you can tell I was beyond fed up at this point. He did compensate me to a amount we agreed on. But I rather of just paid more and never had the frustration. I got the party bus as a present then here we are sitting on the side of the road broke down after only being on it 10 minutes. How embarrassing. And our plans ruined. On January 4th took a ride and the ride was very uncomfortable no heat it was very very cold

***BEWARE DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE MONSTERS*** Let me start by saying that I was SO excited to book a party bus for my wedding. It was a special gift for my now husband because I knew he was nervous about getting married in a catholic church (I'm Catholic but he did not convert so he was pretty uncomfortable with ceremony to begin with). I thought it would be a great way to calm him down and make him feel more at ease with the strictness of the ceremony. When I asked him how the bus was, he told me that they didn't have any alcohol (I wish the driver had prompted them but that is not necessarily the driver's fault). The driver didn't know it was a wedding, asked them where to go, and blasted slow, sad country music (which we hate) the whole way. I was frustrated that the driver didn't give them a tutorial on how to use the resources on the bus or have any idea where she was going. I even double-checked the email and absolutely know that I provided all addresses in the itinerary. The driver never offered to go back to the hotel to get alcohol or drive us to a store to quickly pick anything up. So instead, we waited in the church for the father of the bride to drive back to the hotel and deliver alcohol. At this point, I can't blame the driver for the lack of alcohol, but I wish she had been more on top of it and showed the boys around the bus and settled them in better. Here is where it gets out of control. The photographers come out to the bus and instruct the bus driver to go to the Jackson Field in the Metroparks. We pile in the alcohol and ourselves and wait to start moving. The driver then asks where to go. Once we repeat the location, she tells us her GPS doesn't work. My sister, the maid of honor, gets down on the floor of the bus to use her phone to GPS the driver to the next location. Then, another phone gets used to try to connect to Bluetooth. Turns out, the driver is connected to Bluetooth and has been playing slow, sad songs this whole time. She does very little to help us understand how to set up the music. My brothers, who are computer science engineers and understand how technology works, are unable to connect to Bluetooth until the last 10 minutes of this 5-hour bus rental. When we finally get to the location for photos, the driver demands $150 in cash from my sister because we are running behind schedule. At this point, her inability to properly drive, find the directions, and follow the directions without being explicitly directed by my sister is unfathomable. We ignore her and go take photos. The whole time, she is extremely nasty and screaming at our photographers who are starting to panic. At one point, she starts honking at everyone and tries to rush us back on the bus. Once photos are over, we go back onto the bus. At this point, she is clearly livid. BUT THEN she asks AGAIN "so where are we going" as if she never looked at the itinerary that was sent to her that clearly outlined all addresses. So AGAIN, my sister is on the ground in her dress giving directions and STILL trying to set up the music. Everyone is frustrated and we all just wanted to get off the bus and enjoy the reception. As we clean up the trash and file off the bus, the driver stops me, the bride, at the door of the bus. She demands $130 IN CASH before I leave the bus. As if I could possibly have that amount of cash stuffed in my wedding gown. I tell her that we can settle it on Tuesday (it is Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend). She tells me she IS the company and we need to settle the tab NOW. I walk off the bus and go inside my reception. So, Sunday morning 7am I call and leave a voicemail to please call me back. At this point, I also see a charge to my new husband's credit card for $86.12 for going over by 30 minutes. Now, we were made late to everything all day because of the incompetence of the driver AND she has been demanding random different amounts of money to compensate for her inadequacy. I get a voicemail from them on Tuesday giving me the number to call and discuss what happened. The call starts with me introducing myself and asking x3 if this is the right person to talk to. I'm talking to a female voice when I made my reservation with a male voice. I ask if she knows the bus driver and get no response. I delve into my story and at the end she starts defending the driver. Then she ends with "Just so you know, I do know the driver. I am the driver". At this point, I am overwhelmed with how duplicitous the company is. It was ridiculously egregious to set me up with the driver to discuss the events of my wedding. The company refused to treat us, the bride and groom, as human beings on our wedding day. They DID NOT deliver the service that was promised. They did everything they could to make everything more difficult and stressful for us on what is supposed to be the best day of our lives. I have booked with VIP for the past two years for my staff holiday party. We've had a blast riding on their party buses. The owner Andrew was friendly and thorough in his confirmation of the itinerary and items we should bring on the bus. He called the day before to make sure everything was set and that we didn't want any changes to our schedule. Our driver Justin called ahead of time and was even early to pick us up. He was funny, personable and prompt for pick up and drop off. He was quick to respond when we were ready to leave one bar and head to the next. Justin also reassured the crew that our items were safe on the bus during our various stops along the way. He even endured the traffic around Public Square so that we could stop to get out and see the Christmas lights. The bus was clean, comfortable and the lights on the ceiling were really cool. I booked a 40 passenger bus (Zeus) October 15th for an event on Sunday December 5th. I had booked a bus for the same event two years ago that was smaller. I decided to go with the 40 passenger bus this time because we had more people going and because this was the only bus with a bathroom on it. I got a text on Friday, December 3rd confirming we were good to go and gave a phone number to call if I had any questions. On the day of the event I saw a rundown looking black bus in front of my house. I went out to the bus and told the driver (Tyrone) this is the wrong bus. He just sat there and said the other one broke down Friday. I told him i just recommended that bus to a friend and they had it Friday. Then he said it was after they dropped my friends off it broke down. There was no remorse or apologies. I told him that this bus would not be big enough for the thirty of us. He said it was a 22 - 25 passenger bus. I asked why I was not called and given other options or a chance to cancel before just showing up. He said, the owner was supposed to call me. He said he was trying to call him but he would not answer. I already had 30 half drunk girls at my house that had been dropped off and we all had already purchased our non-refundable tickets for our event so we had no choice but to cram on the bus. three girls sat on coolers, two girls split a seat upfront away from the rest of the group and one girl had to sit on the steps that I am sure was not safe. (when I say girl, i would say the average age was 58, so you can imagine how uncomfortable it was) We made the best of it because we believed that Tyrone knew nothing about this. We had given him 20% tip plus at least another $150 the day of. I called the next day to talk with the the owner, Andrew at 9:00am. The receptionist said he was outside and he would call me back which he did not. I called again that evening and Andrew answered. He said it was not his responsibility to call me because he was off work on Sunday. He said he did not find out until Saturday night that bus was broke down. He said his manager, Tyrone was responsible since it was his day off. He said we were the ones that chose to get on the bus, he did not force us. I was given a party bus that smelled like exhaust fumes, floor boards lifting up, rips in seating and it was sooooo loud. So we started at 8:30pm went till 1:30am. Was a great time bus driver was great, and he was interacting with us also. Real professional about everything. Helped out if needed. Even went into some of the places and hung out with the group which was nice. Highly recommend Justin for rides. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! My daughter and her friends booked this company for their senior prom. The paid $540 of their own money for a truly horrible experience. Prom was on 4/30/2016. The bus was supposed to arrive to pick the kids up at Michaud's in Strongsville at 3:00 PM. It did not arrive until 3:20 and then got lost for another 20 minutes trying to find Coe Lake. The bus was not the one they ordered. It was supposed to for 22 passengers and they could barely squeeze 20. The inside was filthy. Dirty floors, ripped upholstery, etc. The music system Would not work either. At first it would not work at all. The driver could not get it to work either. Then they were able to just get the CD player to work(there was a mix CD on the bus already). Obviously less these days are not carrying around a folder of CD's like we did. Their music is all digital. The bus had 2 different head units, one for cd and one "supposedly" for digital. The driver, the kids and myself could not get it to work. The driver stated that it was really busy, he doesn't drive this bus and that he didn't know anything about it. The worst is yet to come. It began raining outside. Heavily. The bus began pouring water from the ceiling onto the kids. Girls in prom dresses, boys in tuxes. The kids attempted to secure the roof vent as well as the driver but had no success. The kids had to sit on the backs of the seats to try and stay dry. I spoke to the driver who gave me a number to call. I left 2 messages and never received a call back. I called from my office phone on Monday and there was no answer and I did not leave a message. 2 minutes later my office phone rang and it was a guy who asked if I had called that number. This was the so called manager, "Andrew". The most unprofessional customer service employee I have ever dealt with. Explained the entire situation to him. He basically blew everything off, said the kids should have known how to work the audio, and said the bus is cleaned before use every time. He offered no resolution. His advice was to send an email and he would give it to the owner. I asked for the owners name and he would not tell me. I sent an email on Monday detailing everything and have yet to receive a response. This company took advantage of a group of teenagers. Worst service ever. I have taken many party buses before, decided to try out a new service. The air conditioning didn't work, the floor boards were all gross, the cushions weren't attached to the seat frames. We asked to drive around longer (within our 5 hour time lot), the driver gave us attitude and was so rude. We were more than willing to clean the bus, he didn't have any garbage bags and parked us far away from where we were supposed to get dropped off. The music was shotty at best, the music videos didn't work. The lights didn't work on the one side. The driver made the experience even worse, he was so rude and unprofessional. Horrible customer service. The day of my birthday, they were over an hour and half late. They did not call to advise me they were going to be late, instead I had to do this as I had a group of 40 people waiting to board the bus. Used this company for my daughter's wedding. The "owner" Andrew was supposed to email me times for pickup and delivery of guests from the hotel the out of town guests were staying at as well as those that did not want to drive to the reception venue on two occasions starting on June 27, when we made the final $1,400.00 payment of a total $1,600.00 cost. I had to call multiple times to get the times set up for the wedding, the last being 3 days BEFORE the wedding on July 15th and I got directions to the venues which I already knew where to go to get to the venues. I called back and said I need specific time frames not directions. I was adamant that the bride and groom were to walk into their reception at 5:45pm and not a minute later. I was also told I would receive the bus drivers cell number, which I did not receive. The bus was to pick up the first round of guests at 3:30 to take them to the reception which was 20 minutes from the hotel. He only transported 4 guests. Then he was to arrive at the wedding venue approximately 20 minutes from the reception venue at 4:10pm to take the wedding party to the groom's parents home for pictures and he didn't show up until 5:45 when they were to be walking into the reception. The bus driver was to pick up the second load of guests at 5:00 to deliver them to the reception then return to the groom's parents home 10 minutes from the reception venue to take them to the reception. The bride and groom had to cancel the picture shoot at the parents home as the bus driver didn't adhere to the schedule. I would not recommend his party bus to anyone we boarded they were supposed to arrive at 9 50 they got there at exactly 10 our driver she was very nice her name was Dorado our bus was $570 we paid that in full only to learn that when we got on the bus we had a 22 passenger bus we had 20 people and also the music stopped working the driver did the best she could in order to transfer everything over and try to get it fixed luckily we did have a technician on the bus and he said that it was just the radio itself but that was a part of our package she dropped us off at a destination we got to her destination at 10:30 she did not pick us back up to 12:40 she had to transfer buses which also took another 45 minutes and then transfer the stuff that she took off the bus on to the other bus when she arrived back we had a 15 passenger bus with 20 people we were on top of each other but we made the best out of a bad situation we contact the Andrew the actual company owner he never returned our call but he told us he would give us another hour but will not return any money back he still has yet to call me to make an apology or to provide me with an explanation of what happened while he stated was that he was not giving us our money back at the end of the day the extra I really didn't mean anything because in Cleveland everything closes down at bar time all he had to do was give us a simple apology I would not recommend this service to anyone and then on the formal occasion prior to that we were graduating and we also rented from them as well and that bus was a $470 trip and once again the radio has stopped working we were not compensated or accommodated for that day we figured it was just a malfunction but the driver was really nice so we decided to give it a try again do not rent from them I would not recommend them to be rented from they services are horrible in the communication skills are poor read more

I booked with VIP for a graduation gift and I wanted the bus with the pole in it and the lady called me 10 minutes from when it was time for my pickup and stated that the radio was not working and the is no music she could come get us and take us downtown and go get another bus and we would have t wait an extra 30 minutes I said this could not be possible because it is already 9:30 and my time was over at 1:30 there would not be enough time in my 4 hour window the bus that she brought back did not have a pole in it and the bus she brought back the seats was falling apart and I have been trying to reach the manager all week and no one called me back this place is a rip off don't use it my lawyers will be involved in court they can not treat people like this. read more

BAD BUSINESS! I would give them 0 Stars if I could! We had a HORRIBLE experience with VIP! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! We reserved their BRUTUS bus for a wedding. We paid $575 for 3 hours. The pictures and descriptions of the BRUTUS bus are on their website. They (Andrew) called me an hour before the wedding started and said that the AC in BRUTUS was being repaired and that it should be fixed in time but if by chance it wasn't, that they would send a bus JUST like BRUTUS and not to worry. What they brought us was an ugly run down bus that is not even advertised on their website! It had none of the amenities we were promised (and paid for!) in the BRUTUS bus. The outside of the bus was a filthy white color and looked like something they could transport prisoners in! It was much smaller than BRUTUS. The inside of the bus was old and did not look like anything like the buses on their site. There were no TVs (0), the AC did not work in this one either (we were all sweating and uncomfortable), the sound system was horrible, it was filthy on the inside, the driver was rude and had an attitude. He had no idea where we were going even though I emailed the itinerary to Andrew beforehand and he received it so I had to take the time out of our busy wedding schedule to explain. We were flung from our seats a few times because of the driver's erratic driving. We spilled our drinks all over us (including the bride) We were sweating. The bride's dress got dirty from the spilled drinks and the filthy floor/seats. I could go on and on.... :( The worst part about it is I reached out to them several times over the past few weeks to resolve this and they ignored me. They literally just responded and they are lying about the whole situation! It's disgusting. I am now seeing other people's reviews who had similar experiences. 0 STARS FOR VIP !! We had a solid reservation booked with Andrew for a 20 person party bus with the trust, reliability and expectations to tailgate a browns game.. The night before the game he sent a text message only to say that he couldn't find a driver for us and it "wasn't looking good". So, needless to say i gave my personal credit card information to a complete stranger. Communication and customer service is essential to be a successful company. And Andrews complete lack of communication and negative comments were highly unprofessional. Luckily this was just a tailgate experience.. I couldn't imagine trusting this company for something as important and big as a wedding!!!! read more

TERRIBLE Experience ! BAD BUSINESS!! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM !!! We booked a bus on new Years EVE for my fraternity brother's 25th birthday. The bus arrived and half of the speakers did not work. The driver told us he would contact the owner (Andrew) who did not answer any of our phone calls. The driver stated he would get a new bus and return by 11:00 p.m. and he never came back The driver and the owner ignored our calls for the next 3 days. All of our guest were upset and our new year's eve was ruined. I still have not heard from the owner and still have not received a refund of the $500 that I paid upfront. I will never do business with VIP again and I am strongly considering seeking legal Counsel. read more

TRASH BUS. NEVER RENT FROM THEM. TERRIBLE WORKERS. Bad business. Horrible experience. That was the worst service and the worst quality bus service I have ever experienced. To begin the bus picked us up 20 minutes late from our assigned destination. The bus parked on the side of the street instead of pulling into the address we had given her. The cops showed up because the bus was parked on the side of the street. When we got on the bus, the radio did not work, no air conditioning, siding of the walls was falling down, some seats were detached, very dirty bus conditions, and there was a leak in the ceiling in the back. The bus driver promised we would get a new bus on the way home (that didn't happen). We didn't leave for downtown Cleveland at 10:45 pm. Bonnie (our bus driver) got lost several times on the way there. My friend had to navigate her the entire time so she wouldn't get lost. The bus driver also didn't have any dash lights. We arrived at the bars at 11:45. On our way back, we got lost some more. The bus driver also decided to stop the bus at 3 ambecause our time was done. We had to convince her and she had to call her boss to make sure it was okay that she drive us home....On Saturday, they told me that I could call on Monday and they would be giving us a refund. I have been calling several times the past two days and I am not getting a response. Overall, it was the trashiest and the biggest waste of money for my birthday celebration and I will never book a party bus from them again and neither should anyone else... EVER read more
