This is my second time here and the food is amazing! The seasoning is on point and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a cozy vibe that I really enjoy. The fresh herb and garlic naan paired perfectly with our curries, flavorful without being too garlicky. I had the Chicken Kadhai Masala and loved the vegetables and flavors. We also ordered the Kadai Paneer and the paneer cubes were great in the curry. Definitely coming back!

I went with 5 other friends for dinner at this newish Indian restaurant in SE Vancouver. We were greeted by a lovely server who was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious! We've had a hard time finding good Indian food in Vancouver and I think we finally did! Our group ordered Pani Puri four our appetizer. The "tangy flavored water" was delicious and complimented the potato cubes and chickpeas inside the crispy round shell. We also ordered Butter Chicken which was excellent and Chettinad Masala and some spicy noodles. All were really flavorful and well spiced. The naan (we got 3 kinds) and mango lassis were a lively accompaniment to our meal. We will be back soon!

Outstanding food and service. Very friendly atmosphere and helpful in ordering. There were 4 of us. We ordered their Platter full of meats, lamb, chicken, salmon, which came with Rice and Naan, a plate of veggies and hummus. Everything was delicious. An easy platter for 1 or 2 people. We also shared a Butter Chicken and Paneer Masala. Wow so flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend driving to Vancouver/Camas to dine here. It's next to Costco.

Gave Virasat a second try, and I must say my experience was 180 degrees in the proper direction. Service was not lagging this time and we ordered and received our meals in a timely manner. We each ordered the Chicken and Lamb Kebab platters which included well done Basmati rice, fresh Nan, hummus with green olives and a delicious side salad. We were both very satisfied with the presentation and tastiness our meals. I look forward to our next visit now. Perhaps our first visit experience was a fluke. Today's experience was stellar!

Food was ok at outrageous price. I won't be brining any of my friends or come back. Unless to try their chai.

Restaurant and bar are large. They were unfortunately less busy than we would hope... good Indian food can be difficult to come by, especially in a small town. The menu was great - lots of options including vegetarian. We decided to do a 'progressive' dinner that we shared. We ordered a few items off the appetizer menu. They were EXCELLENT! Fortunately that we ordered slowly because the portions are large. We filled up before making it to the entree. It was delightful. They unfortunately do not have a full bar. It is limited to (I believe beer?) and Indian wine. The options are basically red or red. It was fine. Not the best, not the worst... just wish they had a few more options on the bar menu. Give it a try, food and service were ON POINT. Price is extremely fair - support local!

Bread Basket is a great deal to try out the different varieties of naans. The mango lassi was good, the main dishes were awesome, nice flavor and not too spicy like South Indian dishes. It was pretty good quantity that I had left overs. The decor and ambience needs a little touch up but off to a good start.

The mango lassi was perfectly sweet and refreshing, and the butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and seriously delicious. The naan had great flavor, though I wish it had been a bit fluffier. Sadly,…read moreI wasn't able to have one because the man working the cart said he had forgotten to turn on the grill and it would take 20 minutes for it to heat up. I told him I would wait but he still discouraged me from doing that. I actually wonder if he just didn't know how to make them (I've tried at home! They are difficult!). I love sambar, that comes with most dosas. It's a spicy soup. I ordered idli sambar so I could still have that. He allowed me to order that. Whew! The portion of sambar (see picture) was less than generous. He didn't even fill up the container. It was also not hot (temperature wise). Warm, but not hot. There were only 2 idli, which are steamed "cakes" (dumplings? But not in the filled sense as in some Asian cuisines). They are made from ground rice and urad dal, a white lentil. They are usually made in a steamer stand and are perfectly round, slightly domed disk when they are done. I have one and make them at home sometimes. (I lived in India for awhile). These weren't quite what I was used to but still edible. If you try them (and you should) consider them an appetizer or side, as you don't get much here. The sambar, aside from needing to be served at a hot temp had good flavor and so did the idli. I would like to go back and try for a dosa again (it's a big crispy crepe like pancake with filling inside-traditionally potato & pea, etc). Now you know a little about South Indian food! Looks like they have a few popular curries, like butter chicken, etc. I'll see how those are and let you know later.
