    Wine Tasting Samples
    Leah J.

Two words: Wine Slushies!!! After the awesome experience I had at this place, I've definitely found my new favorite local winery! The Virginia Beach Winery has been on my list of places to visit for quite some time so to end my boyfriend's birthday weekend, we decided to stop in and do some wine tasting. As soon as we walked in, we noticed a few vendors located all throughout the winery and were told that they were having a small event that day, which I thought was pretty cool. I loved how open the winery was and they even had a few table games. After we looked around at most of the vendors, we headed to the bar to start our $5 wine tasting. We both were able to choose 6 wines to taste from a list of 15 dry and sweet wines. We tried to choose different wines so that we could essentially try them all! I must say, there wasn't one that I didn't enjoy! I'm not a huge fan of dry wines but even those tasted great. In the midst of our tasting, the wonderful staff let us try the wine slushies as well! OMG, they were perfection!!! I literally could not stop drinking the Seniorita flavor! It was fantastic! Overall, my first time at this winery was a 10/10! The staff was outstanding! They chatted with us about the perks of the wine club, gave us some insight on all of the wines and were very friendly. We did end up purchasing the Princess Anne Pomegranate Wine. I love how they host an array of different events every month. We plan on attending Bachata Thursdays as soon as possible! :)

Great wine with some awesome Latin dancing on Thursday. They have a class before the actual dance starts so you can practice what you learned. Easy for beginners or if your never danced before. Plenty of partying and they have outside food that comes in. Today was pull pork and salad. Maria is amazing. She is sweet funny and will help you with your tasting. Check it out.

Ever since my last time coming to this winery, I ensure that I stop here when I visit Virginia Beach. This visit was interesting because they moved. They're in a larger space, have more wine options, and expanded their services. Parking is a lot easier at this location as well. The wine tasting experience is a vibe all by itself. My friend and I each did nine sweet wine tastings and tried their two new slushies. They are on to something with the slushies. I bought bottles of wine and my friend purchased cups of the slushies. Lol. Again, it was an A+ experience

Recently bought wine for a family members birthday who lives in Chesapeake, and needed a delivery to be made at her house. Hands down the best online ordering and customer service from initial contact to delivery drop off to door. When I am back in the Chesapeake area I will be stopping in!

Interesting location and concept but I like what you've done here! Not a traditional scenic vine and scenic winery, it was interesting to find this spot located it what looks like it used to be or could have been a motel in a past life. Immediately upon entry we were greeted and id'd. Pops was a trooper and offered to toast it up with me on this wine tasting. Thank goodness for my good good girlfriend who tagged me in a FB post because she knew I was in the area. Promoting a free wine tasting, how could I resist?? In my mind, wine is meant to be consumed in a glass so we opted for the $3 souvenir glass instead of the little plastic shot glass. With a choice of six tastes you could chose from a wide variety of reds and whites, sweets and dries. Not a super sweet fan I can recommend the Moscato, the Red Moscato and the Witchduck. The Reisling was on the drier side and bit as sweet as you would expect but it was still worthy of a try. They do give you bread and oil to nibble on while you taste. The bread was kicks in nature but imo did not compliment the wine as it should. Hence, I'd forgo and save the extra space in your tummy for wine. Staff was friendly and gave tid bits of knowledge along the way with each pour. Parking is dusty as the spaces are not paved. There are not many but treats rotation is frequent so spaces free up quickly. All wines are under $20 which is a plus if you find more than one that speaks to you.

I fully admit - I'm a wine snob and I tend to turn my nose at urban wineries that tend to have a heavy focus on sweeter wines. That said, I really enjoyed this visit. First off, this place is HARD TO FIND. My GPS took me on the road behind it, and I had to wander around until I found a very un-assuming office-looking room along a row of other office-looking rooms. But once I got inside, the servers were very welcoming and as people trickled in it seemed everyone was having a good time. The tasting is free, which might help. I'd describe the wines as 'fun'. Nothing you'd keep in the cellar, but good for casual drinking. I didn't think I would get anything but ended up with a bottle of 'Surfside Strawberry'.

Very interesting and creative winery. Customer was awesome the whole we were there. Was nice to see pop up shows/ vendors available there. Nice to see products of their previous wine and sip night as well as their crafts nights. Love the facts that you can taste many different types of wines for free. They had frozen wines and hot wines as well. Love the different types of varieties options and let me say they were great options!. Wish they had more sittings. They had a back room but it wasn't enough for the crowd they had. Overall great experience.

Visited today as part of the soft opening for the new location. The new space is huge, and since we got there close to closing and it wasn't very busy, we easily found a table to sit down at. We split a (free) sampling, enjoyed wine slushes, and we purchased a bottle before we left. Staff were very friendly. They let us know that we are welcome to bring our own food in to eat inside. (There's also an Italian kitchen across the shopping center that would be convenient to order food from.) They also sell their wine slushes to go!

Free Wine Tasting...Weekly - cheers to that! I visited this winery once and my first time was super! Free wine tasting is offered Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons into the evening. Maybe on Sunday's too, but you should call to double check. But those other days - go for it! This winery has been open for at least three months now, and the free wine tastings have been offered ever since! Talk about getting their name out there with FREE wine - I'm all for this exposure! The wine options pretty much cover everything from dry to semi sweet to sweet! I cannot recall my favorite, but the wine is definitely homemade as the owner, Maria explained their process as we were blessed to be the only patrons in the winery at the time. I am not a wine specialist but I like quality everything and in my option - quality is here! The owners seem passionate about their craft as well too! The owners Maria and Josh have a Facebook page and they update it quite frequently and I love it! Check it out - very informative! The owners seem super down to Earth and they are definitely eager to grow their clientele. I have even been in talks of hosting a wine party here and Josh and Maria thoroughly explained the process from start to finish. They are young business owners, but I am sold on their vision - they are destined for greatness. If you visit during the free wine tasting be mindful because this spot can fill up quickly, because it's not a huge establish. It's a cozy/make yourself at home type of vibe here. But luckily the day we visited, there were only two ladies ahead of us. As a result, Josh made our tasting super interesting by answering our many questions and interacting with us as we sampled each of the wines. So they give you an option to sample four (per person) of the maybe 10 wine selections. But the key is to go with a friend or two and you all sample them all by sharing a taste or two among yourselves. But if you don't want to drink after each other just visit on another day to sample the wines you didn't get to sample the afternoon before. Again, I visited during the month of December and it was decorated beautifully with Christmas decor. Also at the time, cute holiday glasses were for sale and I bought a red and green glass... and you can very well bring them back for future tastings instead of using the plastic cups they provide at no cost. I think we were offered crackers or cheese too...but we opted out. The wines are under $20 and I am sure you will find something to tickle your fancy. But if not for you, a friend! I purchase the apple wine (seasonal I believe) and it was already chilled. Super yummy! Parking is available right in front of the door - a gravel parking lot. It's super small, but if you get there ahead of the crowd no worries. The winery is minutes from I264 and it's not too hard to find, but you definitely want to keep a close eye on the location cause one could very well miss it. Children are welcomed, but keep in mind this is still a winery business and you should watch your child/children at all times. Alongside wines for sale, wine accessories are available for purchase too. I am looking forward to returning super soon! Have fun and enjoy life :)

Amazing host! Polite and professionalism displayed the whole visit. Wish we lived closer. We'd visit more often. Slushy was my favorite on this hot day.

This is a cute little spot. I will say it was hard to find at night because it is behind a gas station in shopping strip, but at night it looks a little abandoned. It is a small shop, I had a reservation($6 to reserve a table of 4), and it is best to have a reservation. There were only three table with 2 to 4 chairs at each table. Now for the good stuff. They do free wine samples of 6 different wines (but is it really free if you pay for a reservation, it's still worth it in my opinion). They are small cups maybe one ounce each. The night I went, they only had 5 available so I was able to have a second of another one I liked; however, she said at times, they have 10+ you can sample from (dry or sweet of course). They change their samples every so often. All the wines are handcrafted. The wines that you sample are available for purchase. However, if you just want to buy wine, you don't need a reservation, you can go in and buy the wine. I hope they continue to grow their business. This has great potential!

The atmosphere is great. The service is great. Love the selection of games. The wine tasting is fun with a group and it's great when you don't know which wine to purchase. We ordered a charcuterie board from Foodies next door. A purchase from Foodies got a percentage off the wine purchase. I love the other items sold like the wine slushy. Wine enthusiast, it is beyond the best thing you will ever have.

From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and made for a wonderful dining experience. I started with the Crispy Barbacoa Arancini, followed by the Shanghai Braised Short Ribs, which were incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Today I went with 1/2 a dozen as the last time I went with a dozen and then could barely eat my meal Today I tried the Miso Butter Clams. So good. I wanted to sop up every bit of the sauce but my stomach disagreed.

I brought a party of 5 to finally partake in the culinary excellence that Eurasia has to offer. As a collective we ordered- STEAK N EGGS w/ no egg : such depth in all aspects of every bite. The polenta and steak were cooked with absolute precision. PEANUT CHICKEN WINGS : probably my absolute favorite of the entire spread. The tartness of the peanut butter was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely purchase a jar of the sauce alone. CRAB RANGOON FLATBREAD : an elevated version of a favorite take out additive. Sauce to ingredient ratio was to die for! GREEN GODDESS & MANGO SALAD : this salad was dressed to perfection, allowing all items to shine in its each individual way. CHILI CRUNCH TUNA POKE : I mean you quite literally will explode with satisfaction with every bite. The freshness and variety of flavor / texture is impeccable. FRIED RICE W/EGG ON SIDE : you can absolutely distinguish that whoever is on the line preparing your fried rice is doing so with the experience in mind. The preparation of the shrimp, the array of colored FRESH vegetables, and the rice itself. DIRTY MARTINI FETTUCINE PASTA : a blue cheese olive dirty martini is my all time favorite drink so lo and behold, there was a pasta created by its existence. The block of blue cheese down to the plethora of capers, absolute chefs kiss. BBQ DUCK : honestly if this was all I ordered , I would be more than satisfied. This item was accompanied by the most decadent Mac & Cheese , a perfected bowl of collard greens, and the pickled mountain of cabbage. STRAWBERRY CRUMB CRÈME BRÛLÉE : for the most part , I tend to stray away from a crème brûlée due to the lack of creativity. HOWEVER, the strawberry crunch crumbs and that dream of a sugar crust. I could clear a couple plates of this. PASSIONFRUIT & PANDAN TART : this hit every note of a well rounded dessert. The passionfruit was so tart with a subtle sourness that aided the coconut shortbread cookie. I would like to shout out our waitress Fantasia for an amazing service that evening by ensuring the plates never stopped coming, drinks stayed full, and any requests satisfied. As well as Chef Braedon for coming out to introduce himself and explain the magic he placed on our table. My friends and I will most definitely be back.

It is fully shaded which was nice considering we had some young kids with us. Service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I'd encourage them to be more targeted when describing some recommendations on the menu, she simply listed about the entire menu she asked "what are some of your favorites". Drinks were delivered very fast by the bartender. 2nd rounds were offered prior to the drinks being empty which shows good serving habits. The serving portions were very plentiful and played very well on the brunch theme! Burger was cooked medium well but still very juicy with a delicious mayo based sauce. The chicken and biscuit was juicy and the biscuit was flaky and delicious. It would have served the dish well TJ have a little more syrup. I also loved the unique hash tots. I was simply visiting from out of state so I won't return, but I'd encourage you to! They are also included on Resy so be sure to book there or use a Resy credit if you have it!

Food came out very quick and they easily added things to my order. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! Personally I definitely recommend adding an extra egg, jalapeños and cheese. The pancakes were solid too, albeit a bit pricy. The restaurant had great vibes and intentional design. Indoor does have limited seated but there is plenty of outdoor in the front and back. Well worth a visit!

I saw the event advertised on social media and knew I had to check it out. It's gourmet specialty hot dogs paired with a wide selection of martinis, from classics like lemon drops and cosmos to more unique options like the pickletinis and caprese tinis. I went with a couple of friends around 5:45 and it was packed, but luckily people were leaving as we arrived so we were able to grab a spot. It was a little too chilly to sit outside, but they do have additional seating and I'd definitely sit out there when it's warmer. The food was great. I got the kimchi hot dog and loved it. The brioche bun really stood out, and the chili truffle oil fries were amazing. Everything comes out on a cute little tray, which was a nice touch. For my drink, I tried the pickletini. It was good, but definitely strong, especially if you're new to martinis. One friend got the caprese-tini, which was surprisingly good and came with a caprese skewer, so you get a little snack with it. My other friend got a dirty martini, which she enjoyed, and even as someone who isn't big on olives, I thought it was pretty good. Overall, we all had a great time and will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
