After more than 20 years there!!! My husband got the last appt (same issue) and the nurse practitioner (even though I was willing to pay) and was there with him l, did not need a whole separate appt time, would not even consider treating me. It is literally over my whole body. I have had terrible terrible experiences at urgent care facilities. Prime Care has steadily become less about the patient and more about the billing.

Every appointment she rushed in checked babies heart rate, measured my stomach and then rushed back out. If I had the audacity and speed to ask a question she would speed rant an answer that never really answered my question. I got tired for spending 2-3 hours in the clinic for a 2 minute appointment so I switched doctors. Dr. Wren shows up to appointments in a timely fashion and engages in a conversation. Unfortunately that conversation is entirely ones sided. I declined cervical checks and instead of asking why he told me that cervical exams are the only way to know if I'm in labor... I was unaware that contractions were a myth. When I told him multiple times that I didn't want to be induced, especially not earlier than I naturally went into labor last time, he started using scare tactics to try and book one. If he was actually worried about my amniotic fluid there are ways to test it. He threw out stillbirth multiple times and always followed it with how healthy my pregnancy is or how low the chances are. When I asked why the induction couldn't be after 41 weeks he said all the same scare tactics again and then booked the induction without my consent. When I suggested a stress test, which I had last time and passed, he just ignored me. I've had doctors treat me like crap before, but trying to scare me into an induction with out any evidence of needing one is abusive medical "care".

I got him as my doc, because I wanted to deliver at the Saint Francis and they deliver there. It's a group of doctors and I got him, I don't know how the others are. I don't like him at all. At my first visit I was 10 weeks or so, he told me to get induces, because I deliver to fast on my first child. I told him I don't want to get induces or take any medications, if I don't have to. I thought it was akward, since I still have like 7 months to go and he is talking about inducing me on my first visit. My first delivery was fine it was 2hrs long, without any complications, that I was released the following day. It was my first pregnancy, so I didn't know I was in labour my pain tolerance is pretty high I guess. Now I know how it feels like and I'll be ready. So why should I get induced. I started to have dental problems, so I called my doctors office to inform myself, if its okay for me to go to the dentist, the nurse I talked to told me that I am not allowed to use certain local anesthetic, while being pregnant. But my dentist requested a permission slips, so I requested one from my doctor. He gave me one, saying that it's okay for me to use local anesthetic, without any restriction, this made me not comfortable, so I never went to the dentist. On my second visit (14 weeks), he was talking about aminocenthesis, I didn't get my AFP screening yet. He just check the size of my belly and the babys heartbeat. He said everything was fine, but he wanted for me to go to a specialist. I went to the specialist he did an accurate Ultrasound and he said baby was fine. Couple days ago I received a call from Dr. Swaneg, that my AFP screening, showed that I am positive for DS. He wanted to see us in his office, to show us the results. He pointed out a number saying 1 : 242 and he said it's supposed to be 1: 270. So I ask him what it exactly means, since the numbers doesn't tell me much, his reply was well you learned math in school didn't you so you can calculate this. Okay. Then he says, he recommends me to do the aminocenthesis, which he have been mentioning a couple of times and I said no, aware of the infections and miscarriage that comes with it. His reply was, yeah if you don't mind having a down syndrom baby, then he said, so you want to keep your next appointment with me. So I change him. I know Pregnant woman are more emotional, but this doctor, doesn't know how to deal with them. I didn't feel like he was listening to me, I felt like he was just up for the money, with doing all those extra procedures. I would not recommend this doctor at all. Since his last name was to hard to pronounce they call him by his first name Dr. Swaeng. I would def. not recommend this Dr. From what I hear, the facility prefers c-section, because its scheduled, less messier and they make more money out of it.

I was wounded during a combat operation where I received shell fragments in my arm, leg and back. As a result, I have back muscle impairment, paralysis of the external popliteal nerve in my right leg and paralysis of my external ulnar nerve in my right arm. I also have PTSD Due to my extensive injuries, I am now classified as 100% disable. Since I am at a 100 % disability level, I believed that I would l be receiving a top notch health service through the Veteran's Administration, but unfortunately I was wrong. Before I was first able to see a pain doctor, I was told that I needed to wait four to six months for an appointment then an additional two to three months to actually see a doctor. Up until that time I had to use any kind of pain drug including illegal drugs to control my pain and ironically the doctor could also not take care of my pain. They were reluctant of prescribe pain medication. I know that a lot of people abuse pain pills, but my situation requires either injections or pain pills because I went through a number of surgeries and in the last surgery the doctor told that no more surgery can be applied to my ulnar nerve and the popliteal nerve. The reason is that both nerves were so thin that there is no area left to repair them anymore and therefore I will be living the rest of my life taking pain pills. I was going insane. I was taking any kind of pain medication including illegal to alleviate my pain. One day, I talked to one of my co-workers who had also been wounded in Vietnam and he recommend that I go to see Doctor Dave's. I made an appointment with Dr. Dave's and on my first visit and I was completely blown away by how helpful and kind he was and how fast he got on top of my problems that included pain from combat wounds, high blood pressure and cholesterol. A lot of doctors don't realize how important this is if you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very efficient office. I was also impressed in how fast he was getting back to me, which is another important trait to find in a doctor when you are a patient in need. Doctor Dave's maintains a very efficient office and his staff are very professional. His office is brand new, clean, and they run on time. Doctor Dave's consistently answers all my questions before and after making my appointment. He provides a safe, understanding, sympathetic, private practice. For those people in the local area looking for an internal medicine doctor, you should consider visiting Dr. Dave's. He is a great doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. His staff is courteous and I like his philosophy of treating any patient no matter the race, religion or sex. Dr. Dave's is always helpful and he is always available. He has personalized service and goes out of his way to "problem solve" using all of his contacts and knowledge to offer multiple solutions. I would highly recommend Dr. Dave's to anyone! Each time, we would see him for 5 minutes or so. He would ask if I had any issues, and then a quick work up of following his finger with my eyes. I just started with a new neurologist. I was disappointed to find out that my care at Neuro-Care was negligent and downplayed. Initially, I was switched from Keppra to Carbatrol. I was informed by my new neurologist that Carbamazepine can make generalized epilepsy worse. Furthermore, I had started mentally blanking and tripping over my words. I relayed this to Dr. Khan at one of my earliest appointments, and I was told I was having "misfires". I have now been informed that these are actually aware seizures I am having. Among other things, I would not recommend this practice. It was my only option for a while, but I am grateful to have a new neurologist now. Realistically, this is my brain.
