We were told that there was no cost after 5pm and it's just across the street from the Strand Theater. This was a no brainer - right? Well until we tried to leave the parking lot. It took 50 minutes to exit. We were parked at the second level. There was about 12 cars ahead of us. Why so long? Well no parking attendant to help you. When we went into the lot, I had to provide my phone number- no ticket was provided. Ok - strange; but Ok. Upon leaving the toll machine asks you for a ticket - which we didn't have. At the bottom of the screen there was "other options" and when selected it requested your phone number. Then you had to pay. I didn't mind paying the 6 bucks - it was the waiting. Im sure the cars in front of us had the same experience and that's what caused the delay. I do not recommend using this lot for any event at the Strand Theater. Unless you plan to leave a few hours later after the show is over.

Some of the cons to this parking deck includes bad indoor lighting. If you attend evening events and end up walking to your car after the sunsets be super careful. It's pretty dark in here and when people are backing out of their parking space it's hard do see. Some of the indoor lights are broken so if you guys are reading this...please fix the lights... The spaces are super narrow so you gotta pay super attention when parking otherwise you won't have any space for your door. Also be courteous and don't park outside the lines otherwise the person parking next to you can't get out without denting your door.... During "special events" such as food festivals and stuff like that they do charge money. The prices varies from $5-$10.

I really didn't know exactly what I expected to find so, I had no agenda but, to get a feel for the geography and maybe discern a reason they would head for Texas in the 1850s. Marietta is north of Atlant in Cobb county. I found a thriving metropolis surrounding verdant hills with huge trees. Looking closer I found traces of the old Marietta. Before General Sherman burned it in 1864 during the civil war. There are only two original buildings downtown left from that destruction. One is now the Marietta History Museum. I'll cover it in another review but, it is one of the best small museums I've ever visited. Visiting the Marietta City Cemetery gave me a feel for the Old. It's on a hill close to downtown and I could imagine from here, the coalescing of a small dusty town forming in the distance. In that town, my great-grandfather xs 3 became the 4th Sherriff in 1838. After spending a day exploring the area I didn't come away with anything you would consider "concrete". However, I do have the satisfaction of knowing they were here in the early days of pushing westward of our country. That's exciting to me. Especially in light of the fact that I'm sitting close to where they settled in Texas and I do know that history very well. My current day assessment of Marietta for those possibly interested in moving there. I found it to be a great little city that I myself would live in. It's got a special feeling that's hard to put in words. I talked to a lot of people and most are from somewhere else. Marietta is a great place to live,work,retire they said one after the other.

She instantly said I don't know. I asked if she could ask someone. She hung up. I then got transferred to 3 different people and finally hung up on. This is worst way to help people that need your help. If I could give 0 stars I would. These lifetime employees that know they will never get fired so they treat the public as rude as they can.

Then i called to follow up and was told i need to call to confirm the confirming of the date.(From jail) I got on a threeway call to then confirm . They then brought me the court the day before the actual confirmed date and conducted an exparte conversation on the case prior to me entering the court room. Only for the judge to tell the baliff to remove me from the court since i also filed a motion for mandamus . This was clearly tatical tricks and a violation of my rights as well as the clerk participating in this type of activity was against the oath of office they all have taken. So many new restaurants and different vendors have moved into this place. Sears left few years ago. Now there is a huge sporting goods store in that spot. It is still a great place to do some shopping and eating. For the "out of towners," it is nicely located next to major highways, or several hotels. Costco is right next to it and the Braves Stadium is within close distance. Usually customer service is nice. Clean and busy place. Plenty of parking.
