Then came the food--cold tacos, not even lukewarm. I told the waitress, who seemed clueless, and the kitchen lead insisted they were fresh. I handed him a cold taco to prove otherwise, and he took the plates back. After a long wait, the tacos returned warm but completely flavorless, lacking any authenticity. I've had better tacos from an LA food truck. The wings weren't even lemon pepper--just coated in some random sauce. The only decent things were the crinkle fries and the loud music. To top it off, security allowed people to smoke indoors despite there being a designated smoking area. I will never return and advise others to avoid this place if you want even mediocre food and a smoke-free environment.

This hotel is convenient and walkable to many Midtown destinations, such as where our party was held (Biltmore Ballrooms, one block south). We had after-party drinks at the bar downstairs. The drinks and service were good. One of my friends, who works for Accenture (which has offices nearby), always stays at this hotel when he's in Atlanta. He prefers it. Also, one of my coworkers stays here quite a bit, and the staff knows him as a regular. The building first opened in 2009 as the Hotel Palomar, a boutique hotel managed by Kimpton. It was rebranded as the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel in 2011, after the property was acquired and the management transitioned to Marriott. The hotel recently underwent a renovation in 2025 to update its guest rooms and meeting spaces.

However, we were very unhappy that our room was not serviced all day until we came back at 6PM to freshen up before dinner. Its not at all the time to come by right before dinner when people are in their rooms. How are we gone since 10AM and it never gets serviced? When we ask front desk at 7PM to get it serviced were told everyone had already left for the day but we can get towels. Not helpful, very disappointing. As someone who has worked in hotels this was not at all the proper response.

You only get two of them, and they are served over a bed of mixed greens. They lacked seasoning and flavor. When she brought my fries, she realized that she never brought the fork, and still didn't bring it. I ordered yucca fries, but she brought regular fries. The mocktails were served in these foggy old cups. Even the customer next to me commented on her own cup and said it looked like someone had drank from it. They add 20% gratuity to ALL bills--I was by myself and it was still added. 5 Church is pretty good, but this place was not at all. I paid 65 dollars for my meal, which was absolutely not worth it, given the quality and service of my experience. Looks good for IG but I won't be coming back to this rooftop.

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and perfect for afternoon tea, brunch, or celebrating a special occasion. The food was really good, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were, especially for a restaurant located in Buckhead. The waitstaff was phenomenal--friendly, attentive, and made our celebration feel special. There's also a lovely gift shop with personalized items, handbags, beautiful scarves, jackets, coats, and so much more. I even noticed an art gallery toward the back. Overall, Swan Coach House is just a lovely experience. Beautiful setting, great service, good food, reasonable prices, and the perfect place to celebrate my best friend turning 60. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it! But valet parking fills really quickly, so I recommend the dining room and as early as possible.
