I have been paying my HOA dues to VIS for over a year and usually between 1st-5th of each month. For some reason they said my December payment was late. The payment was mailed by my bank on 12/05/23 and they deposited it on 12/14/23 and charged me a late fee/admin fee of $55. I disputed this with them and the HOA board did a "One-time Courtesy reversal" I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to Christmas, mail may have been delayed. Come January, the same thing occurred again. My bank mailed payment on 01/03/24 and they deposited them 01/16/24. I went into their office showing documentation for the past year that I always pay on time and they agree applauded my record keeping and said they'd look into it. After their review, I was asked again to fill out a dispute form for the board to review. The second appeal was denied. The board can only make their decision based on what VIS tells them. I refuse to pay these fraudulent fees and will explore all options for justice. Reading other reviews, it seams like this is a pattern with VIS. I tried to contact Eugene K. (business owner) but he didn't even bother to return my call and just had the property manager reach out to me - without resolution. These people have always frustrated me to the very bone. They will fine you in a heartbeat for stupid reasons, and expect to be denied when you attempt for a rebuttal. Why? Because they are thieves and have nothing better to do but take your money. I hope you all realize that many homeowner despise the system you run. I know so many who have moved out because of your company. You all are ridiculous. To share you my most recent experience, ever since we purchased the house in 2010 we've only had one account on their ACH site to pay both of our HOA (Campus Meadows and Meridian Campus) dues. I repeat, ONE ACCOUNT. This year, we decided to update that ONE account by putting my checking account and removing my wife's. That is all. Three months have passed and I get a late fee of $80. $80!!! For what? Because the payment for Meridian Campus did not go through. When I asked for a corrective action, I was told to create a second account for Meridian Campus. Since when?! And why was I NOT told that a second account is needed when all I did was update where the money would be coming from?? Without any warning, any type of communication, email/calls prior, any effort whatsoever to reach out to inform me of this issue, they instead slap me with a fine of $80! When I asked for it to be waived, they waived $15 admin fee but not the $65. Why? They said they have sent me plenty of warnings. BUT, when I asked for proofs, the failed to provide them because they never did anything in the first place to inform me. The only "warning" I received from them is the same invoice that already had the extra charge in it. Many businesses out there make the effort to contact their customers when issues like this come up to try to resolve it BEFORE applying any additional fees. But you guys are something else. You could've reached out when you learned about the payment issue and we could've been taken care of it immediately. But you just love to get people's money the second you see an opportunity. To make matter worse, all these back and forth with them happened in 30 days. Guess what happened afterwards? They slapped me with another $15 late fee for not paying the original fine given. Long Text... I've been having an ongoing problem with Scott Roth (Association Manager) at VIS Group concerning a Satellite dish that was installed in front of my house. I have a bank of large trees in the back of my home and Direct TV can't find a line of site to the satellite and decided to install in the front of my home. Well this satellite dish was installed over 6 years ago and for whatever reason VIS decided to site me for having it in this location starting last year. I asked why they waited so long to "write me up" and was told they had a change in board members and it is now a problem. Initially I was told I need a document from Direct TV (DTV) stating why they installed in front vs rear of my home. After hours and hours on the phone with DTV trying to get this documentation, they informed me that they are not able to produce a document and email as they are not set up to accomplish this task. I informed Scott at VIS that I am having issues providing this letter because DTV said they can't physically provide a letter. Meanwhile, I am getting fined I guess monthly for this so called infraction and just found out they put a lien on my home. I travel a lot for my job and in between being at home and deployed, I've tried to resolve this issue with VIS to no avail. They are being totally difficult and unwilling to work with me. I am now on disability and decided to devote more time trying to resolve this issue. Last week I physically went to VIS office in Lacey and asked Scott can he provide a copy of this "mysterious" letter that even the folks at DTV say doesn't exist. Initially he said no he will not provide a copy of the letter, I asked why, you can simply redact all private information and provide a copy so I can show to DTV. Kathleen, his assistant actually sent a copy of this letter via email from the "AT&T Office of the President" since receiving, I have attempted numerous times to call the individual named on the letter to no avail. I finally reached another person at this office and they informed me that they have never heard of this letter. I actually read the letter to the individual at the AT&T Office of the President and they said ok, they would have DTV service department dispatched to my home and evaluate the dish to see if it can be relocated. If not, the DTV technician can simply sign the letter that I read to him stating it can't be relocated because again, DTV technician or main offices do not have the means to create an actual document. So, today the DTV technician arrives, evaluates and states they can't move the dish to the rear of my home. The DTV technician (Joe) actually went above and beyond and informed me that he would go with me to VIS office and see if there are any forms he needs to sign stating this fact. After talking to the front desk clerk "Ellyssia" who has been fantastic by the way she called Kathleen Noffsinger who intern called Scott Roth to speak with me and the DTV tech. Scott was very rude and unwilling to listen to the actual DTV technician and stated that this "mysterious" letter from the Office of The President was the only document that was acceptable. I as well as the DTV technician explained that the folks at the Office of The President scheduled the service call and stated that the technician sign the document provided by their office. Scott was very rude and unprofessional, he refused to accept the information provided...I asked what more can I do? He simply walked away stating he has another meeting to attend. I as well as DTV went above and beyond to provide a statement regarding this satellite dish. I called Eugene Kyyan the CEO of VIS Group and explained the long history as well as our interaction with Scott today. He stated that the "Board" sets the rules and he will discuss with the Board and see if they will approve. I have never in my 23 years of military service as well as my 10 years of corporate management have come across a group of more unprofessional folks in my life. If a customer or any other entity were treated this way by any of my direct hires, I would apologize, fact find and reprimand immediately. I know most would simply say take the dish down. Well, I am a 100% disabled Veteran who has served and fought in the military for most of my adult life. I try my best to follow the rules and be a happy productive citizen. I am not asking for any sympathy, just venting my frustration. There are folks out there a lot worse off then me and fully understand the environment we live in today with Covid and all the other craziness in the world. Again, just wanted to vent and let folks know how unprofessional and rude Scott Roth at VIS Group Inc was to both me and the Direct TV technician today. If I could give them zero I would. We had some miss understanding about billing (first time home buyers). Never tried to call us about it only sent items through the mail. We never received anything. Tried to send us to small claims court. Once we got a payment plan worked out we started paying no problem at all. We sent in our last payments the end out February beginning of March plus this years dues. And now almost FOUR MONTHS LATER they are trying to say we still owe over $600 and if we don't pay are going to again take us to small claims court. No letter, no phone call nothing four FOUR MONTHS. This is the worst HOA management I have had experience with. I live in Lakewood and these people made me regret buying my property here. They are exactly like gestapos going around and trying to find the slightest problem with your property and slapping you with a fine. The only thing they care is maximizing their profit regardless the needs or financial situation of the homeowner. They are the worst people to reason with. The lady who goes around in her car inspecting the neighborhood can't even tell who owns which property. And when I complained they did not even have the courtesy to apologize...If you send them an appeal or a request via Email, good luck if you get a response. Their automated email system tells you "your inquiry has been forwarded to Community Management Team" and may take up to 30 days ! Who takes 30 days to respond to an Email ! I accidentally filled the incorrect routing number on my ACH application form for HOA dues and was charged $35 NSF fee by VIS Group. I contacted them because they asked me to pay the dues and the $35 surcharge but never told me how, also I wanted to verify that this $35 charge was actually from the bank but not a random fee charged by this company. The staff who answered my call didn't really trying to understand my concern but stared to argue with me on how unreasonable I was to put the wrong routing number and that there is no way they can void the surcharge which all I was asking is 1. What do I still need to do to make the payment since they already have all my account information. 2. How can I verify this charge with the bank. What a poor customer service! Incompetence at its best. There is no response to phone calls, canned responses to email without answering of questions and if you get ahold of someone, zero follow through on promises. Since taking over for the previous HOA company, a late charge began from month one. After back and forth and proof of payment they "waived" the fee. Next month same issue, took four months to get fees "waived" again, following month same issue!!! They demanded bank statements and check copies to prove once again everything was paid early and account was current. Fees were "waived" for the third time, but guess what happened the following month....late fees. Finally once they began harassing with Final Notices I called until I got a hold of Susan Mitchell. She was nice and took a look into the account. According to their records there was no documentation of payment dating back to July 2015 (before they took over the HOA) and she stated that if I could send her proof of payment then this whole issue would go away once and for all (her reasoning is the "missing" payment made all following payment appear a month late.) They are unethical and have a culture of poor customer service and mistreatment of daily business in dealing with Homeowners and the Board of directors! They're a joke, plain and simple. They barely take care of the small amount of common area that my community has, and charge exorbitant late fees (if you can call less than 2 weeks late). Their landscapers regularly ignore the area next to my home (a common area) and the moss from this has over-run my grass, our community "park" has no trash can and the patrons are left to deal with the garbage. The trees lining our sidewalks are not properly treated, leaving our cars subject to constant filth if we choose to park there. Why do we put up with this, you might ask? Because this community is probably at least half military owners, who either have renters or no time to argue with VIS Groups B.S. I'm sick of paying these bums. I basically have zero respect for VIS. They act like they care about the HOA residents, but to me, they're just looking for the money. I've tried to call and email VIS about a slew of issues. Example, there's been a woodpecker in the Summerwalk neighborhood that's been causing a lot of structural damage in my home, and could possibly damage other homes. I emailed them to address that issue, and they said contact Animal Services. Well Animal Services doesn't deal with wild birds, and told me to call Wildlife Services. When I called them, they said they will take care of it for a fee. I went back to VIS and told them to handle it, and they basically said no. Another example are these special type of light bulbs in Summerwalk. Once again emailed them to see where I can buy more, and they said to talk to Summit Homes. Summit has no idea on what I'm talking about because before it was Pageantry Homes that went out of business. I had to do my own research and noticed that those special type of bulbs are $20 per bulb. VIS pretty much told me that it's not their problem. Lastly, and most importantly, my service dogs were brutally attacked by 3 rescue pit bulls. It's costing me over $6K in vet bills. Yet again I went inside the VIS office and spoke with one of the community managers. I asked if there's a breed restriction for dogs, and they said no. I asked if they can enact a breed restriction, and once again, they said no. Overall, I absolutely lost every single ounce of respect for VIS Group. There's many other less important issues that I've already addressed to them, and they basically act like they don't care. Landscapers start working at 7:30 am every Saturday. They blow debris all over our vehicles. Pet waste stations smell and don't get emptied. Pet waste bags are not refilled. The company website response link doesn't work. Trash is always lingering around the entrance. There are no flowers, or plants at the monument sign and we pay $50 per month for this horrible service. read more

I sent a repeal letting them know that I have been dealing with my wife cancer surgery and treatment and they want 30 days to make a decision to frat an extension but they want me to pay a first time ever fine that is more than the monthly fees. I have to put 1 star just to write a review, HORRIBLE management company. Whoever it is that runs Madrona is lazy and awful at responding back to messages. The toll free number never gets me to speak to anyone and I have to go directly into the office. They send emails that make no sense, for ex: my mailbox key. I was unable to pick it up at the office due to my pregnancy and complications I could not leave my house and then when they send a email stating that the keys are still in the office but to go to the HOA president who has them. So which is it, is it at the office or with the HOA president. I've been to his home 3 times in 3 days and NO ONE is home. I have important documents that need to be signed. Another instance is them writing me a citation for having my cooler on my front porch and that j have "garbage" on my property that can be seen, which was a lie because I had two bags of compost on the side of my house that you would have to walk out of your car to see, if they had time to walk to the side of my home they would notice I'm a retired vet and I'm home ALL THE TIME. They couldn't have knocked on my door. The cooler incident my cooler was out front for 6mo prior to getting a citation and it was left there for my packages for the mail man to put because the HOA does nothing to prevent package theft. I'm getting citations for things my neighbors also have done and when speaking with my neighbors they have never received one. Also why are they hounding me when it states that garage doors cannot be painted but many in the neighborhood are? Like a previous HOA president who has her garage door painted... Hmm Whoever runs it needs to get their shit together, I shouldn't be paying dues if no one does anything in a timely matter or fairly across the board to ALL homes. read more

Run, and run far away if you choose to identify an efficient, expeditious and meticulous management company for the administrative management of your homeowners Association. They have presented with many errors, a lack of continuity of employees as the rollover rate of staff is at least an 80th percentile which affects the continuity of care for the organization. They have not maintained active staff within the last few years we have done business with them as a HOA. When you ask for an organizational chart they cannot provide you with one because it continues to change monthly. I interviewed them and was part of a team who hired them having identified the errors from the beginning but being assured by both owners they would be fixed immediately. Confident that these errors were a one time occurrence, unfortunately they were not. The problem is our board directors have multiple objective findings to demonstrate their continuous incompetencies but every time it is address they are sure that they're hiring a new more competent business community manager. Initially, the two male owners of this organization present very suave in their marketing pitch and initials introductions, ensuring that their experience technology and updated modern amenities (paperless technology) will benefit large associations. Their selling point is that they have been in business for almost a decade or more, and have modern technology to keep up with the rapid pace of this business tempo. Don't buy into the facade. What is troublesome is that contractually they have made many errors with our contractors and financially they do not provide reconciliation documentation to the board to show bank statements of debits and credits. Rather, they provide the reports generated by their computer program which is not transparent to board members who often are in once a month to complete business at the monthly meeting and trust VIS has the situation under control but over and over again incompetencies are identified and brought to their attention. Each time they are sure they will fix their mistake. I am not sure how many times and organization can overlook continuous mistakes. Having spoken with some of their employees after their termination or resignation from this company they have shared that they are underpaid and have high expectations to perform a higher ratio - Community Manager to units managed - than the industry standard. This helps me better understand why there is a high rollover of staff and lack of continuity of care passed from one Community Manager or compliance inspector to another or not. However when confronting the owners about these issues of previous employees they blow smoke screens stating that the employee has found growth and development and moved on. Stability is key to a successful business they do not have it. They have an obligation to disseminate quarterly newsletters to our homeowners to ensure communication is continuous and have failed to do so in the last 2 out of 3 years. I attribute this to the constant change over. Past and current board directors have submitted verbiage for VIS Group to compile and disseminate relevant information to the community via newsletter but they have only done so with our semi annual assessment invoice billing and only because a member of the community submitted information to print. Further, the agreement on the contract to provide quarterly newsletters to the community is critical because it serves as a communications pathway to the community so as to share knowledge with homeowners about current events, issues the board is working on, and information from the Community Associations Institute (CAI) with whom they are members to help them coach board directors. CAI's mission statement is to inspire professionalism, effective leadership and responsible citizenship. The expectation for an administrative management company is to ensure the are the conduit from the board directors to the community providing helpful resources for a successful management of the neighborhood. This was promised when they were hired and they have not provided any information from their membership with CAI to board directors or to members via a newsletter or in Board meetings. So if this is a selling point in your discussions with them know its not true. Lastly, ensure that you go through your contract with a fine tooth comb if you choose to do business because more often than not they do not deliver or execute what they promise. I'm hoping this is helpful and although it is subjective, I can provide objective findings on request to support my statements. read more

VIS gets an extra star because they responded quickly, but this company is small fish in a big pond and needs to own up to their issues rather than blaming homeowners for their deficiencies. Their PO Box in Los Angeles returns mail randomly. You can mail your dues in September and October and they are received successfully. Then out of the blue your mail (with your HOA dues) is returned even though you used the same address. They provide coupons with the address, but I use my bank's bill pay that provides a clearly typed envelope with the address. Needless to say, my dues were late and I was assessed delinquency and administration fines. When I explained my issue, via a form I filled out, my fines were cleared - BUT with the caveat that this was a "one-time courtesy." Isn't it VIS's responsibility to provide an address that can consistently receive mail? Nordstrom does. Macy's does . . . If you want payments you should provide a reliable address. If you are shady and want to assess and receive fines in addition to homeowner dues you don't try to ensure that your mailing option is reliable. They did respond by offering to set up an ACH to withdraw my dues. Why would I trust this company with my bank account information when they can't even reliably receive mail. read more

Funny thing is, they're all due to my neighbors leaving crap on their curb. I have gone into the office to talk to the people myself. You would think that if all occurrences happened due to stuff being left out on the same curb they would realize it's probably the same people. I ask that you think twice before doing business with anyone associated with this company. Read the reviews and consider that there are other places to rent from. Take the time to be an informed buyer and look at the history, do the research and take your business elsewhere.I can 100% confirm that my experience was equally negative as the other reviews. I was not treated with respect in my dealings with this company and much of what was agreed on was not honored. I fully expected my deposit to be returned instead there were numerous attempts to inflate charges only to then renegotiate for a lesser amount. I was asked by Yelp to remove my review because I did not want to share my personal experience only my personal advice to others. In the end your experience my be different, maybe since I patronized this business they have improved their customer service and are now striving to create a positive customer experience through honesty, integrity and the genuine desire to help customers and improve the communities they serve. We just had a vote for new board members last night. They decided they would stall by letting us know the results today. Here we are at close of business and STILL no results. I was president of an association board of directors when it hired VIS Group, Inc. in March 2013. Both representatives of the corporation, Messrs. Stupin and Shevchuk, met with the Board as did representatives from two other community association management firms. VIS Group, Inc. won the contract with little debate. The Association was a mess for many reasons not relevant to this review. Over the course of about 2.5 years on the Board, I logged well over 3,000 hours, around 4,500 emails plus hundreds of images captured and sent via email specifically on Board-related business. I didn't track the hundreds of phone calls. VIS Group was one of several firms' names provided to the Board by a Seattle-based law firm specializing in condominium law based on the sole fact that associations they represented hadn't expressed negative issues with these firms. Disclaimer: The law firm neither had a relationship with these firms nor had a positive or negative opinion of them and they had no interest in which firm the Board hired. The staff at VIS Group worked closely with the Board to overcome the usual issues with taking on a new association in addition to the severe problems this Association had found itself mired in a mere 2 years after transition from the developer in addition to a history of two previous community association managers. Sure there were problems. Aren't there always with everything? The test of a professional is not whether or not they make mistakes, not whether or not they have problems, but in how readily they admit to their mistakes and how efficaciously they fix problems. All VIS Group staff have proven to be responsive, pleasant, friendly, professional, and eager to quickly resolve any issue in the best way possible. Folks who want to complain about a community association management company first need to familiarize themselves with how boards work (or don't work) and how that situation directly enhances or hinders how a community association management company performs the duties expected of them. The board effectively controls the contract with the management company and directs how the management company carries out the board's wishes. The management company has their proprietary methods of managing their business and how they carry out their contractual obligations to the board. A community association management company's first obligation is to the board that hired them. Most assuredly, you're going to have days when the management company can't get to your call fast enough or respond to your email fast enough -- and that's frustrating -- it's also a fact of every aspect of life. If one isn't happy with any aspect of their community association, then I suggest they: - Start attending board meetings. - Read (really -- read) the CCRs (AKA governing documents) of their association. - Familiarize themselves with the two relevant RCWs of Washington State's: -- Condominium Act, Chapter 64.34 RCW at http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=64.34. -- Homeowners' Association laws, Chapter 64.38 RCW, at http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=64.38. - Research and educate themselves about association management issues with the Washington State Chapter of the Community Associations Institute at https://wscai.org/. - Become knowledgeable about a subject before they make statements that place them in an unflattering light. If one belongs to a community association, there are serious legal ramifications tied to property ownership. It's not a free ride -- you've taken on many contractual responsibilities that you are legally bound to uphold. If you find that you don't like those responsibilities, then sell and move on. But always remember that the other Owners who give of their time and energy, who sacrifice for whatever selfish or generous reason(s) to serve on their community association boards, do so freely with no recompense. It's strictly voluntary so -- and you may not like the less than sensitive way I say this -- step up or shut up. It's about something called "citizenship", being a good citizen. I consider VIS Group, Inc. a highly professional firm staffed with folks who genuinely care and who sincerely try to do their best for their customers. DO NOT under ANY circumstance trust your property, payments, or any business you must do, with VIS Group Management! This "company" will harass you or your renter, assess bogus fines and monetary penalties for completely fabricated violations, etc. Recently, VIS Group was fired from managing my neighborhood association due to a countless number of serious issues and concerns from home owners on the way they've been treated by VIS Group and repeatedly fined and sent violation letters for fabricated violations. I had the unfortunate experience of having to meet in person with my VIS rep for my neighborhood and it was obvious they were completely uncomfortable with face to face interaction. It was one excuse after another and more of a high pressure sales pitch on why I owed them money for violations I did not commit. On a side note, our neighborhood "manager" at VIS Group seemed to change on a near monthly basis, which was extremely frustrating when trying to figure out who to contact. Again, don't trust your property or neighborhood association with being "managed" by VIS Group, they are bullies and in it for the money! For an interesting read, check out Sara W's experience with VIS Group where they threatened litigation. I had a nearly identical experience where they also threatened me with court proceedings and a lien against my property for failing to comply with their made up "fines." Understand that this is VIS Group's "go to move" when they are out of options and you refuse to bow down to their demands. They never followed through with the threats when I called their bluff. Multiple families in my community had identical experiences with VIS Group not following though as well. I fully expect the company to write me and threaten litigation over my statements here and I absolutely welcome that and won't hesitate to post their bogus claims should they dare think that course of action will work once again. As an update to my earlier post about my HOA switching management companies...The new management company advised their investigation showed VIS Group has wrongly and unjustly assessed fines against me and several other neighbors. As a result those fines VIS Group so kindly passed onto the new management company when they got fired are now voided for myself and all others. I've had better customer service in one week with the new management company than I've had in over half a decade with VIS Group combined. read more

This company is an absolute nightmare. It took 4 separate phone calls before they finally got my address correct (meanwhile all the mis-directed letters that I never received were causing my account to accrue late fees) and several more phone calls to clear up a payment I made using their online tool, which was erroneously set up such that my payment went to a different propertly manager. So far, nothing with them has gone smoothly or correctly - which is a huge issue for me when dealing with a company that handles payments of any kind. read more

I recently recieved this letter from the owner of this company which is a company I previously rented a foreclosed home from. So I have removed previous comments and have decided to just give you a short version of my story so that it doesn't happen to anyone else if you are trying to find a rental company to go thru I HIGHLY recommend NOT going with this company. They are clearly as unprofessional as unprofessional gets in my opinion!! Dear Sara, it has come to our attention that the statements you made earlier on Yelp are still present. As you know, Thurston County District Court reviewed the case and found that we were in fact not responsible for the money's that you claimed in your complaint. You are hereby warned and notified to CEASE AND DESIST making false and defamatory statements regarding VIS Group, Inc. regarding this matter. It has come to our attention that the comments you previously posted on Yelp PRIOR to the case being heard are still posted on the website,even though the court has ruled against you. These comments are misleading, false, constitute tortious interference with business, and as such, are actionable under Washington law. If we are forced to commence a lawsuit against you in order to stop continued false and defamatory statements, be advised that we will seek recovery of all attorneys' fees and costs incurred herein as a result. Soooo....I have chosen to remove my prior statements as I had written them in the process and though ALL was true some of it came across as being written out of "in the moment anger". I rented a home from VIS Group for myself and my 2 children in Nov of 2014. The home was already in the foreclosure process and actually went into foreclosure and was sold at an auction by Feb 2015. So not even 4 months into our year lease. I found this out in March when someone extremely creepy had come to serve papers to a (man) not a women that VIS Group had told me was the actual homeowner. Then when I contacted VIS Group I of course got the whole run a round about how they were all in a meeting and would have to get back to me. They didn't get back to me until late the next evening at which time I had already contacted the person who now had ownership of the home as well as the attorney for that establishment and found out what all was going on.The home was rented to me by VIS Group as the homeowner being a women. In fact that (women) was the ex of the actual homeowner or at least the person the courts were attempting to serve at the residence I was renting from the VIS Group. I attempted to take the VIS Group to court over this matter as I got nowhere with them and actually honestly felt that they knew this whole situation was kind of shady and still rented to me... a single disabaled mom that they knew was running out of options to keep my kids same schools . Although these are just my feelings there are a few reasons that led me to believe these feelings as being true: 1) The home was only for rent online there was never a sign in the yard. 2) The water was shut off due to non payment and even after I had signed my lease had not been turned on because it had a $350.00 balance (which VIS Group did eventually take care of) 3) When I asked at the beginning of Feb 2015 when I went in too pay rent about doing some fairly big changes to the back and front yard and asked if they would be willing to contact the owner and see if that was something they would be willing to ok for me to do at my cost of course. They immediately responded with "oh ya do whatever you want". When in my lease it clearly stated there was a chain of things we had to go thru which one being that they had to get written approval from the homeowner. I did take this to small claims court but unfortunaely I as the judge put it "jumped the gun" as far as being able to ask for moving costs and such not knowing how much exactly that all is going to be. So it sounds as though I could have at least got that if I wanted to take them back however due to all the stress and anxiety this whole situation that this company put my kids and I thru I ended up in a relapse with my MS and it is not worth it to me to do so. I am just glad to be done with this company for GOOD!!! I do however want to make sure our story is out there so that this does not happen to anyone else as it has been hard and expesive enough for us to have to relocate. If you do choose to go with these people just do your research prior and watch out for those red flags and always always do everything in writing with these people!! read more

I called this company to ask about setting up an automatic payment. Being assigned as our new HOA, I have to make sure before trusting them. I called multiple times during regular business hours and nobody answers the phone. I called in the next day, same thing happened..then try again the 3rd day and same thing happened... I just want to talk to a "person" not a machine...Why oh why is it so hard?! I decided to left a voicemail....well not a single one return my call. Anyways, I proceeded and just paid by mail. I paid 2 months worth, they received it.. So I decided to do it again for another two months. Guess what, they send me a bill stating they did not received my payment and I was charged late fees and administrative charges. Are you kidding me??? I looked at my bank account and they cashed in both my checks successfully. Yet they keep sending me letters stating I owed them. I paid my January bill 8 weeks ago. Why am I charge "late fee" for paying in "advance"???? Lacey Wa Vis Group should coordinate with their CA office. Unbelievable company.... Radiance HOA, I'm begging you to please fire this company. Worst customer service ever, could not even provide envelop for their stub. Very shady, wants to make money for invalid late charge and administrative fee. One more thing, there's no name of a person in their letter. Just a "sincerely, Vis Group, Inc." closing in their collection letter. In this case the whole company sucks! Employee acting irresponsibly hiding behind their company's logo. Very sad, but this is one valid example to outsource customer service :( read more

This company is horrid. They treat the relationship with the HOA as if they were the boss, and the manager they hired doesn't do their job enforcing the rules. There is no rules enforcement at all, and in this economy there are a ton of renters which makes rules enforcement even more imparitave. I have complained/made reports several times with no action taken. Do not use this company, it's worth paying more to receive the service you want. read more

I've had to contact VIS group a few times in the past few months regarding some questions about a property I own. They manage the HOA group in the neighborhood. I have found them helpful and polite. I notified their staff about a payment due date that had come and gone without processing after a holiday weekend. The staff accountant blamed the bank for not doing the processing even though it was clear the bank had been closed. Not sure if the error would even have been caught without my pointing it out after three weeks passed without the debit. read more
