I contacted Visak about my older Frigidaire Affinity washer after one of the suspension spring mounts on the outer tub broke. I sent him photos, and instead of trying to charge me for a service call, he honestly told me it looked like something I could repair myself by drilling a new mounting hole. He said if I wasn't comfortable doing it, he could come out for his standard diagnostic fee. I ended up making the repair myself, and it worked. He even followed up afterward to see how it went. I made an appointment for a washer repair based on the fact that Sam picked up immediately and that we could schedule an appointment within 48 hours. I ignored the fact that there were few reviews amd that was a big mistake. He canceled 30 minutes before the appointment and then did not respond to my follow up text asking if someone else could come later in the day. Much like some of the other reviews, I did book an appointment window for my freezer repair and then they no-called, no-showed. However, unlike these other people, I followed up, received an apology, and was booked again the next day. Sam came out and walked me through his evaluation of my gasket issue, attempted to fix the gasket on-site and ultimately determined I would need a new one. He clearly laid out options for purchase and even instructed me on how to try to install the new gasket myself to save money. I did follow his instructions but still couldn't get the door to seal so called them back out and with a few tools, Sam got my freezer back in working order. I've reviewed Visak (aka Sam) before with a stellar report regarding my Viking 3 Series oven-- outstanding! Here I am again, leaving another glowing review, but this time for my 7 year old LG front load washer. He was just as knowledgeable and personable as he was working in my kitchen on my Viking stove! He diagnosed the issue with the drain pump on the phone and confirmed the problem soon after working with it and testing things. He repaired it with the new part he had in his truck. Afterwards, he showed me the old part and why it was failing and placed the washer back in working order. He gave me some tips regarding keeping the washer in good shape and sent me a link for a "conditioner" on Amazon to promote the longevity of the washer. He also provided advice on the bouncing I was experiencing-- that it could be my shock absorbers or it's possible the fact that the feet weren't balanced (he fixed that). Sam Visak is a fantastic honest man who is very knowledgeable about appliances. He was responsive and quick to respond to our emergency help. Our Frigidaire fridge was having an issue one day and we thought it maybe an ice maker while he diagnosed the fridge very well and it turns out that we had a bigger issue. Hello people, I am giving Visaks 5 stars cause he did a great job on diagnosing and fixing my dryer for a reasonable price. First I scheduled the technician to come to my house on a Thursday, but due to a scheduling issue I had in the last minute, I had to reschedule. I called Visaks repair and the technician that answered the call was very responsive and had no problem rescheduling the repair time to the next day. On Friday he showed up to my house at the top of the time window he gave me, knocked on my door, and put plastic covers on his shoes so he doesn't bring and dirt from outside in with him. We then discussed the problem with my dryer, he instantly knew what the problem was and when he opened up the dryer he was right with his diagnosis. He took out the part that was broken, told me he has the part with him in his vehicle, replaced the broken part with the new one and presto, the dryer started working perfectly with no problems again. We were able to pay him with our cc using his machine, or you can pay via venmo. I was so very happy with the service and the work, I am glad I choose to call them for my repair. read more

I am giving this five star review based on customer service as it turned out my issue was better handled by a plumber. I contacted Visak's on a Saturday when my dishwasher was backed up. It was great to get a response rapidly. We discussed via text the issue and he mentioned I might want to get a plumber to look at the issue. I made an appointment with him in case the plumber couldn't fix the issues I tuned out the problem was with my pipes not my dishwasher. Do NOT use Visak. Visak "repairs" are sloppy, unprofessional, and potentially dangerous. I should not find left-over screws on my floor, parts installed incorrectly, or 110-volt wires in the back of my stove wired together with only electrical tape. I should not have unrelated expensive parts of my refrigerator stop working after each of the 3 Visak "repair" visits. Visak is an expensive bait-and-switch repair service. Visak came to my home 3 different times in December 2021 to repair my GE Profile refrigerator and Viking Oven. On each of the 3 visits I asked the Visak repair person if it was worth the cost of the repair expense to fix my 15-year-old GE Profile refrigerator. Each time I was told the repair was the best choice compared to purchasing a new refrigerator. Visak charged me a total of $1,162.35 on "needed parts" and service during their 3 visits. After their 3rd visit my ice-maker stopped working. I contacted Visak and was informed I needed to pay $580 for an additional part. Instead I ordered a new refrigerator for $1,600 from Best Buy. The Best Buy delivery team pointed out where someone had turned the water supply to my ice-maker off at the rear of my refrigerator. My "repaired" Viking oven stopped working 2 months after Visak's December "repair". I called in a well-trained Viking repair person to repair the mess Visak left me with. When he pulled my Viking stove away from the wall he discovered oven screws on the floor, the rear oven metal panels bent and forced into place incorrectly, and the gas line almost cut open by a sharp piece of metal on a rear oven panel Visak put in the wrong place. I was shocked and scared. My house could have caught fire, my family could have been injured! I wrote a letter and an email to Visak's expressing my concerns. I included pictures of the extra parts I found and the incorrectly installed parts. I asked for a refund for a portion of the expensive repair fees I was charged. I heard nothing back from Visak. If you need an appliance repaired do NOT call Visak Repair. Visak's "fast service at a low cost" is a tempting offer, but your wallet and your safety could suffer in the end. As a retired person on a fixed income, I feel preyed upon by Visak. Call in a certified and trained service technician for your all your needed repairs. Do NOT call Visak! read more

Our fridge completely stopped working including freezer and water dispenser, showing error F5, when I called Visak he said that the back of the fridge had to be cleaned, so he vacuumed the back vent, took $180 for the cleaning and left. The fridge is still showing same error, when I called back he said he needs to order a special part and he will contact me back. When I tried calling he just said I will call you back. Something happened in the lint trap of our dryer that prevented the screen from being put back. No one could come out until next week until I called Visak's. They squeezed us in the next morning. Our dishwasher malfunctioned and we called Visak for the first time. He is very friendly and easy to get along with.
