Highly recommend Jose! The light switch broke in our stove range hood from the 90s. All the other repair companies I contacted said that it couldn't be repaired. Jose came out and took a look and was then able to find a replacement switch. When he came to install it, it was a little too big, so he took it home and power sanded it. The next morning, he came back, and it fit perfectly! Now everything is all fixed. We really appreciated how he didn't give up, especially when it was a more challenging repair. The technician had a rude, condescending tone the entire time. He repeatedly asked where I bought the part--three separate times--and I gave the same answer each time (LG parts). Not sure why he expected a different answer. He also complained that the job was "more work than he charged" and suggested it should have cost more. That's confusing, considering he's the one who quoted the $80 price to begin with. I still paid him $100, and the attitude didn't match that. Overall, poor customer service. I don't recommend this business. Before calling them, I did extensive diagnostics on my dishwasher and even replaced the control board myself, but the issue persisted. When Jose arrived, I shared all of this context. After his own checks, he insisted the control board was still the problem and that the one I installed must have been defective. He recommended buying another board from a different vendor. I followed his advice, but the new board made no difference--the problem remained exactly the same. This the 2nd time Jose has helped us out with our appliance. Our Maytag dryer stopped working completely. I text Jose the day it went out and he came to check it on it the next day. He thought it could be the door switch and thankfully he told me to get the part off Amazon, overnight it and watch the YouTube video to do it ourself. He was trying to save us money. Like I said he's helped us out a couple times trying to save us money and is trustworthy. We listened to his advice, ordered the part and replaced it pretty easily. A lot of other companies would have charged so much money for a $6 part and less than 30 minutes of time to fix. We know we can count on him and his service.
