The actual dealership is no longer active ( but Google maps shows an older photo so they "look" legit from the web). This is a bunch of guys walking around luxury car dealerships in Visalia, CA and taking photos, then selling the pictured vehicles using the closed dealer's name. See the pictures of the scammers in the reflection of the cars. The FBI, and other national investigative agencies are working on this and have been notified.

The salesman failed to confirm the person signing the loan contract was the person on the ID they had. I was served paper work to appear in court for non payment of the down payment. I called groppetti and spoke to the salesman and he stated "don't you remember I went to your house you were sick and you signed the paper in bed". I went to groppetti and brought this to their attention, the sales person who sold the car approached me and try to sell me another car!!! They did hear me out, and I was told I no longer had appear in court, however when I asked for something in writing to support that I was told multiple time no. I called the bank and asked for a copy of the contract (groppetti refused to give me a copy of the contract) in which they sent to me via email. The day that contract was signed I have proof from my time clock I was at work. When I called to explain that to them they basically said they had washed they're hands about it and my only option was to contact Visalia PD and report identity thef.

I had called a couple of times inquiring about my service and confirmed on the cost ($229 for brake fluid change and tire rotation). Visalia Kia was also willing to accept and offer me a discount on a competitor's coupon. I arrived shortly before 8 AM and was supported by service agent JL after a couple of minutes, once he was finished talking on the phone with a customer. Since I was coming from Fresno, I needed to know the length of the service (brake fluid change and tire rotation) so that I can plan out my day (whether I would need to stay at the dealership or get picked up; their shuttle only drives 20 miles out). Based on a prior conversation M on the phone, the service was estimated at 2-3 hours; JL confirmed this after I explained what I was in for. Once I checked in, I made myself comfortable in their waiting room. They have a room with a TV and four sofa chairs. In between two of the chairs is a setup where customers can charge their electronic device using their provided charging cables (which can probably support Apple and Android products). There is an adjacent room with two tables and three chairs each and vending machines for snacks and drinks. On the side, connecting both rooms, is a walkway that leads to a room with complimentary coffee and popcorn, a restroom, and a room for paying for services. JL updated me about three times on the status of my vehicle, once before it was driven into the service area (a little after 9 am) and twice after it was being serviced (the last time was around 9:45 am to let me know how much longer it would be until the service was done). My car was finished and I checked out around 10:30 am. The actual service time was about 45 mins to 1 hr, but most importantly, I was out of the dealership about 30 minutes before the estimated time to service the car. Finally, they gave me a $10 discount, part of them honoring a competitor's coupon. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Visalia Kia. Despite Visalia being about 40 minutes out from Fresno, their hospitability, attentiveness, and transparency made the drive and entire interaction worth it. I will highly consider coming back to Visalia Kia in the future for a similar service need. Thank you for having me!

Now, I'm unlucky enough to require service and recall repairs here. They told me the service would take "a couple of hours" when I dropped my car off at 9am. At 1pm I called and was told it would be done soon, 2:30pm I was told, "we forgot to work on your car but we just put it on the lift". All of this after I told them I had a hard deadline of 2:45 for pick up so I could get my kids from school. This week I made the drive to Clovis Kia for service instead. They told me one of the issues kia Visalia identified is covered under warranty(of course they didn't bother to tell me that)... Do yourself and favor and make the drive. It's worth it!
