I cannot stress enough how disturbed I was when we walked out of the Christmas Variety show last night. Later in the show the brother that dresses as women decided to do a song about his sadness and triumph in his life. (This is supposed to be a happy show), this in itself was bad enough but then he strips off his clothes down to his undies, takes of make-up and cries. My table of 4 was shocked and silenced. We were still shaken all the way home. This was NOT what we came to see. We wanted to be entertained, not shocked and disturbed. It ruined our entire evening. read more

I love that this comedy club is also an Italian restaurant!! I took my mom for her birthday who is quite the picky Italian eater. She ordered the shrimp scampi and I ordered the steak with bacon and gorgonzola. She said hers was delicious and she ate every bite! Mine was a bit salty and the bacon was soggy and not cooked. The steak was also undercooked for my taste but everything was flavorful and hot! I loved the Caesar salad with the cheese crisp on top!! The comedian was amazing! Can't wait to come back! read more

Service was good, show was good but so disappointed to be overcharged and manager offered no resolution. We had purchased six tickets and three did not show due to illness. They said they would resell them unless we would meet the $15 per seat minimum. We said no problem and spent $240, and they still hit us with a $45 surcharge. Manager said that's the rule and tickets state they have the right to resell. Where does it say that? Not on the digital email or ticket I received, it just states you must meet a $15 per seat minimum, which we did. I know it's only $45, but what a disappointment to an otherwise fun experience. read more

All these stars are for the service, the facility and the great comedy show. Possible half star for the calamari appetizer. The main dishes were not good, but I should have known better than to expect they would be. The good - it was my daughters birthday and they did an amazing job making her feel special. I really appreciated that! The service was great, it was a packed house and we were still taken care of well. The drinks were good and kept full and the place was clean, a rare thing in the world of comedy clubs! The bad - the food. Again, the calamari was pretty good. The Cesar salad we shared has lackluster dressing, some burnt croutons and semi wilted lettuce. I had the eggplant parmigiana with house-made noodles, which sounded amazing! The noodles were thick and not properly cooked and the sauce was super high in acid making it taste burned. The eggplant was ok, once I scrapped all the sauce off. My daughter and son in law had the scallops with house made noodles. They had the same experience with the noodles, though their sauce was better than mine. Their scallops ranged from over cooked to almost raw, which I have to say takes talent to incorrectly cook scallops so dramatically on such different ends of the scale. We still had a great time - the show was great and well organized and again, the staff was wonderful. So go, just go for the show and not the food. read more

We were there last night for a comedy show. The waitress takes your order and then they have different people deliver your food. The young man who delivered our food gave my wife's dish to somebody at our table young man was supposed to deliver it by seat number, so I ate my dinner by myself and my wife had to wait for her food. The man who got my wife's dish, didn't realize it wasn't his dish and started to eat it, not his fault he was talking to his group and didn't even notice. A while later they came with my wife's food and the original dish he ordered delivered to him. Shortly, there after the manager came and took his food away and said that he would have to pay for a second dish. She never apologized to my wife or myself. Everyone at the table was shocked. It was obviously a mistake by the Restaurant staff, not our waitress. She was very good. I later got up to speak to the manager and she told me that her owners would think that he was getting something for nothing. I explained to her that I had been in business myself for many years and that was a poor way to treat your customer she argued with me and never understood. I will continue to go there for the comedy, but I will never buy food there again. By the way, I watched the table behind me after the young man delivered their food. They were all handing each other their plates, so he made the same mistake at the table behind us, but luckily they caught it. read more

We had a wonderful time at Visani's. The Eagles tribute band was fun and entertaining! The tickets to the show included dinner and deserts. The food was well presented and delicious for the price. My only problem was the food service. It appears they have what are called " food runners." The employees run the food as it is available. The owners need to teach these employees how to serve food. Food is served on a tray not piled up on your arm with your clothing in contact with the plate or your thumb in my salad. Several of the food runners would drop off plates and then run their hands through their hair or brush them off on their clothing! The 12$ signature cocktail was weak! On August 12, 2023, there was a group of approximately 29 of us that took over the dinner floor. We have been here a few times before. It was a crowded venue as usual. Tonight the food was exceptionally wonderful, the service was good from poor Megan W. running around trying to stay on top of all the orders. Since you have to make a minimum 2 item purchase, I felt that the price for the dinner and drinks were a little high. But, I guess, for a good show we are willing to pay a little more once in a while. The opening act was hilarious, while the main act was just okay. We all had fun and most likely will come back next year. read more

Been to Visani many times... Today was by far the worst overall experience. I think they could not handle the number of Patrons tonight. Well over an hour and half to get our dinner. So we ate during the show. Food was good but less enjoyable to have to eat during the performance. The US BeeGees were good, but the place was packed. I maybe wrong, but it sure seemed like there were a few extra tables stuffed into the room tonight. This experience wont stop me from going again, but I will expect better next time. Doesn't appear to be a restaurant apart from the comedy club but it is. Highly recommend stopping here if you're craving a steak, scallops, or pasta. All of the food was delicious. Not a lot of seating available in the restaurant side so I would recommend a reservation. read more

As an avid attendant to Visani's. I was very disappoint last night(8-13-24). 1. service was adequate. Not like in the past were it was over and above. 2. Food as usual taste excellent. But the portions sizes have shrunk to an all time low. A quarter of a chicken breast is not a meal and to ask for a up charge for the other half is ridiculous. 3. The show was terrible. Having seen this band many time the obvious have lower their standards. 4. In closing I think Visanis restaurant needs to get back to being the high cost restaurant and club it used to be. read more

Came over for a cover band of Creedence Clearwater Revival tonight. Food was amazing brought out hot and timely, and the staff was spot on very disciplined and attentive. We had the vodka penne with chicken; added homemade noodles. It was worth the up charge. The portion was enough for three meals, which we took home with us. Dessert was chocolate mousse, which was just perfect and the coffee was top shelf! All in all it was date night perfection! read more

My first visit here was last night with a group of friends. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially when I pulled in the parking lot and the building resembles a concrete castle. The place did not disappoint! Relatively small area, so all seats seem to be good for watching a performance. The price of our ticket to see The Edwards Twins was about $65.00 or so. It included a salad, choice of 3 or 4 entrees, bread, chocolate mouse for dessert and unlimited soft drinks and coffee. You also have the option to upgrade your meal or add an appetizer if you want. I had the Chicken A La Vodka (this was "Included") in my fee. Large bed of angel hair pasta served with several, large, thin breaded chicken cuts and a creamy, red sauce. Very good and filling. I opted for a glass of red sangria for $8.95 and it was very tasty. Our server, Cardell, was very good. Now, if you have never been to Visani or never seen The Edwards Twins - celebrity impersonators - do so in March 2021 - That's when they will be back for a few performances. They are AMAZING! I felt like I was at a Las Vegas performance. I have to say, I think this is one of the BEST shows I've ever seen!!! read more

We have frequented Visani's Comedy Club for 8 years. Our go to spot with out of town guess or for a date night. About every 6 weeks we would look forward to the menu and comedians. We were big supporters during the 2020 shutdown as we didn't want them to close for good. I understand prices go up, especially in today's economy. I will gladly pay for quality. The first week of Jan 2025 we took a large group and I noticed a price increase on the menu, very understandable. But last night when my husband and I were there, the portions were so, so small it was laughable. The glass of wine was 4oz and served in a water glass. But, not only were the servings half what we are use to at Visani's, the quality and presentation is non existent. Our Caesar salad wasn't tossed but the dressing was dumped on top, it was the consistency of soup and disgusting. Pasta was half the size and almost double the price. The sirloin was minuscule. Its sad when a restaurant feels the need to cut so many corners that the fun, excitement and pure enjoyment goes down the toilet. First off the comedian was great. We arrived at 5:15pm, placed our order and received our meal at 6:30pm. However, when our meal was finally served the lights were off making it extremely hard to see in the dark. Our waiter passed dishes over the heads of people at our table rather than serving dishes to your side. In doing this hot marina in a dish fell on to my friend's lap burning her on the way down the front of her blouse. As she stood up it trailed down her jeans. Luckily she had a tank top underneath and jean jacket in her car to change in to. When she received the bill they comped her $6 for the bread and marinara dip. Utterly ridiculous! They felt that because it was just that dish that fell on her that's all they should do. The blouse is a total loss (with no offer to replace it) Not sure if the jeans will be fine after washing (marinara and oil staining them). They should do better in serving rather than cramming us in like sardines where the waiter cannot move either. Also, in serving us late when comedian took the stage they turned the lights off leaving us in the dark to eat. (Why not add more candles - simple solution). Overall the comedian was great. The meal, service and compensation for their mishap was the worst I've seen. They definitely need to do better!! read more

The Sonny's has wonderful entertainment they charge you for a dinner with the ticket for the show which is fine you have a choice of three entrees the food is always terrible I ordered the salmon tonight for an upcharge of course and it came with broccoli the broccoli was ice cold and the waitress never came back but she did give me a cup of butter with it which was also Frozen I would highly recommend their shows but I would definitely pass on their food read more

In fact it's not worth the time As a customer I expect a prompt response to establishing a reservation not a time consuming and confusing website effort that is less than desirable. I have gone there twice for charity events and once to see a comedian. All three times the food was below par as was the service. All the servers run around like it's their first time doing this. What an amazing venue! Our friends brought us here so last night was our first visit and not the last for sure. We had an outstanding waitress Lauren. She was helpful on menu selection and was very attentive. 3 of us had steaks that were absolutely cooked perfectly. I had the filet with Gorgonzola, loaded baked potato and asparagus. My steak was cooked perfectly tasted wonderful and loaded baked potato was salted and crispy on the outside and delicious! Drinks were sometimes taking longer because it was very busy. had diner here last night, we were there for the 8:00 show and decided to arrive early and have dinner. place is big with lots to tables, wait staff took very good care of our table. my wife went the scallops and pasta and I went with the chicken parmigiana, if I had to just rate on taste, it would have been 4-5 stars. but if you add in was it served hot? then I have to drop it to 3 stars as my meal was just barely warm, my wife was hot. I attribute my only warm meal to the fact that they were attempting to serve a lot of people at once and some food is going to linger waiting to be served, that was mine. it will not prevent me from going back to give them another shot. The comedy acts we saw were great, Dale Jones was the headliner and I never stopped laughing from the moment he started until he said good night. He was great! read more
