Weekly email updates keep us updated on what was done, and online payment means no envelopes or trips to the post office. And the crews are super-professional and reliable. They've done a fantastic job on our yard, and on my parents' yard as well. I'm especially impressed with how well this company communicates. They let us know about the holiday schedule well ahead of time, and if there are any hiccups (which has happened just once), I got a text letting me know when to expect them. I'm giving two stars only because I've heard you can't get 2 star reviews removed. I had a terrible leak in my sprinklers that was making my water bill over $600 per month that my previous landscaper couldn't find so I hired Vision to fix it. Matt, who I think is one of the owners told my husband he has contracts with buildings and made his company sound super fancy so we believed that we were really going to get quality service rather than the typical mow and blow. It was also quadruple the cost of my previous landscaper but if they could fix our sprinklers and get our water bill down and then keep the landscaping looking nice, we were willing to do that. His pricing is on a tier level so you can go silver, gold or platinum. We chose gold which was going to be $600 per month! Way way too high for for us so his suggestion was to have them come only twice a month rather than every week and we were told it would be no problem to keep the maintenance up doing it that way. Syed : I thought they had fixed the sprinklers but I'll get more into that later. So our first water bill after vision started actually was cut in half and the yard didn't necessarily look any different than it did before they started but it didn't look worse either so we kept them. As the months went on I started noticing my water bill was getting higher again. Then I was out of town and when I came back my backyard was dead. Literally brown grass. I was never told anything about it. I had a very busy couple of months and rarely went in my yard but because vision landscaping acts like they're the best company on the planet I trusted that things were being taken care of. When I sent this first picture to them, their office staff told me that they were surprised because usually the maintenance crew lets them know if there's a problem. They obviously did not do that. Then more recently I noticed a problem in the front yard. Vision told me that if I wanted them to come check and see if there was anything wrong with the sprinklers I would need to pay a service fee of $90 which was only to check. By the way I did pay extra for irrigation inspection twice a month but apparently that's not covered if you have an additional problem. So we checked it ourselves. What we found was that there were several sprinkler heads overgrown with grass so they couldn't be released to water the grass. Now we have broken pipes which I think is from the pressure of the sprinkler heads not being able to open. By the way, the leak that they fixed the first time - upon our inspection we noticed that they pointed all of the sprinkler heads towards the brick wall so we have some trees in that area getting no water at all and some trees that are getting way too much water and then overflow everywhere so it's making a huge mess with mud coming down over the bricks. Why they thought pointing the sprinkler heads at the wall would be a good idea, I have no idea. Also I had them plant a bunch of new plants in the front yard and they assured me that they would all be getting water the way they should. Well they were wrong about that and all the money I spent on the plants is being wasted as well because they're dying. I'm just hoping I can save them. Just this last week I sent Vision another message with another picture of the sprinkler heads that weren't able to open because of the overgrown grass and the office lady told me that it's so unusual that the maintenance crew wouldn't let them know. Is it unusual? I'm thinking it's not. Stay far away from this company. It is a total scam. I'm coming with receipts. Look at my photos and videos and then ask yourself if you want your yard to look like this. read more

Their visit is 5 minutes. Next door uses them and they're there almost an hour. Two weeks ago they came and scratched a car which they denied and proceeded to blame me! Unless you go out and do it with them, you won't get any service. Take a look at the weeds grow in the cracks. read more

I would leave a score of zero stars if possible. Don't be fooled by the owner coming to meet you for an initial consultation as all of the actual work is done by a (possibly illegal) crew that does NOT care about your property and will lie about services rendered. I've come home to find my garden hose carelessly strewn (with photos to prove) across my hedges and when the crew came back to take it down- they lied to the owner that they were authorized to do more work. I've since been charged with an additional fee for services that I did not approve and now have to hire an attorney because Matt has sent the claim to collections. Ownership of Vision Landscaping is totally checked out. There is seriously no interest in keeping its customers happy. There is no follow-through and dishonesty with Matt. Case-in-point, I asked Matt if his company can remove a tree from my home and I was provided a bid which I accepted. Weeks, and months later, I have been unable to get them to do the work. Once I pushed the issue, Matt stated that the tree had grown too much and was no longer able to do the work. There is absolutely ZERO supervision with Vision Landscaping. I watch my yard deteriorate in its maintenance. This company nickel and dimes you and line items everything on their very complex invoicing system. If you want your timer to be programed, it will cost you. Yup, it's true, even though I bought their timer of choice. I was willing to pay the higher fee they charge and put up with the nickel and diming, except for one thing, they are no better than the service I had prior which was half the cost. I originally had Vision maintain 2 locations with a possibility of installation and maintenance of a 3rd location. Not only did they not prove themselves to earn that installation and maintenance project, they would not even meet with me on a Saturday to discuss what needed improvement. Nope, they were not interested in doing anything more than the minimum required. Please don't let their website and photos fool you, they do not live up to the most lenient of standards. Summary: * Price is too high for level of service. *Invoicing is too complex and not straightforward at all. *Landscaper will not accommodate meeting with owner on Weekends. *Landscaper nickels and dimes for set up of sprinkler system which should be free of charge. *No improvement to landscaping condition. *No attention to detail. *No supervision. Vision landscaping did not offer to Reseed in fact they walked off the job after payment and wouldn't discuss it we did water frequently afterwords they did a lousy job they did not clear the weeds they did not put the seed barrier down they did not add any soil They charged for a sod cutter but never used one They just rotter tilled the old sod and weeds over again and then planted that seed they had to They had to order more seed as they did not have a Enough seed to finish the job the first time that seed never came, up only weeds I would not recommend vision landscaping and their price was thousands of dollars more than estimated read more

Vision Landscaping is far and away the best service providers that we have had for our home. Matt, the owner, met with us initially, provided service level options and costs (which were fair), and follows up with periodic visits to check on work and make sure that things are properly cared for. His crew follows through on all work areas, leaves the yard looking great and does exactly what is expected and agreed upon. After each weekly service, we get an email summarizing work performed. This opens up a dialogue for follow up questions, requests, etc. Never have I interacted so easily with our gardening service or had such a quick turnaround with requests.
