Bobby's crew from Blackwood is what gives this company a good name. They are more helpful than most customer service agents I have attempted to contact. We had a roof voucher to take the panels down for an addition project we knew we would be having and while my one contact was not helpful when i called concierge, Bobby's crew was back out again within 1.5 weeks. Just waiting for my new roof to cure to have Bobby's crew out again to reconnect everything! While I'm disappointed in some of the vision communication, I'm satisfied with the overall job. read more

I signed with VisionSolar early February 2022. I was told that my solar would be up and running by the beginning of May 2022. It is now May 21, 2022 and while the installation has been completed since 4/13/22 "it" the solar project has not been completed because the inspection has not been done. Repeated calls to the Concierge Desk at VisionSolar are fruitless. The people answering the phone lines are nothing more that polite PUPPETS. The "paper work" for the inspection has been ready for Pick Up from the town hall by VisionSolar. I was given this information on 5/10/22. When last I spoke with David at VisionSolar on 5/19/22 I offered to go the town hall and collect the paperwork and have it ready so that the papers would not get lost or mis-placed at the town hall. I has repeatedly told NO by David that this would not be a good idea. WHAT WASN'T A GOOD IDEA WAS FOR ME TO SIGN WITH THE VISIONSOLAR! Calls and e-mails to Cody Bates, the sales person [978-649-9222 cbates@visionsolar.com] have gone unanswered also. I'm sure my phone number has been blocked. One of the reasons I signed with them was because Cody told me he was a Veteran and I felt good about supporting a person who protected our country. I now wonder if that statement was accurate. On May 25th, 2022 a consultant from Vision Solar came to our house and explained to us the benefits of solar. My wife and I agreed and on Oct. 12th the solar panels were installed. It's now going on 3 months and still my solar panels are not up and running. I have made calls to Vision Solar on Nov. 14, Dec 7, Dec 28, and Jan 30, 2023 to ask once again what the hold up is with getting our solar on. They keep stating that it's due to a change in the original plans and the they needed to be edited and resubmitted by the project manager. This has been the same exact answer for nearly 3 months. Unless I call, there is never any update on what is occurring other than "still waiting on the re-edits of the plans." This is a terrible way to do business and at this point I wouldn't recommend Vision Solar to anyone. read more

They claimed I would be able to sign over my solar when I sold my home but because we are "still waiting on inspection", I'm not allowed. Going to cost me over 100k. These guys had a slick sales process resembling a time-share condo free lunch. Then an immediate, professional installation by a third party, in January. Since then, they've been unable or unwilling to get my system turned on, so in addition to the $300 electric bills in Arizona in the summer I'm also now paying the monthly lease for the panels. They're dragging their feet on reimbursing that, and COMPLETELY CLUELESS ABOUT WHEN the inspections on my home can be scheduled. I've followed up with the city and know more than their so-called "Concierge Department" - who's purpose seems to be to stall and be rude to the customer. They refuse to escalate my calls, refuse to call back, are completely ignorant of the status of my job, and generally oxygen thiefs that told me today "you're not the only customer waiting on an inspection" as a reason they wouldn't escalate my call and "well, it wasn't me who took the thousands of dollars from you for the project". Nice customer service. Do yourself a favor - use someone else - ANYBODY ELSE, if you're contemplating a solar install. These guys want a lease signed and panels up but couldn't care less about getting the system running. read more

The conversation with VS started last November and I have yet to have a working solar system. I complied with all they asked and all I have to show for is over 300$ in additional energy cost. Phone calls not returned, and only empty promises. If there's a way to get out I want it. I'm surprised I have been able to hang on, I am 85 and not well. Was exited to possibly find a solar company that may help us out with our high electric bills. Boy was I disappointed! The sales kid that came to our house was very nice. I don't really blame him for my experience, but he does work for them. After the boys presentation he wanted us to sign on. I said though it sounded good, I would like to review the info and get back to him. That's when things went south. He said it was disappointing and why don't I read the 8 pages right now. When he realized I was not going to budge on that , he said he would have to call his supervisor. From what I gathered from the phone call he supervisor was trying to get him to strong arm us . I appreciate that he told his boss he wasn't going to do that. So when he packed up and was ready to leave I thought he was going to email me the proposal and if I would meet up with him if we liked. So here we are a week later and I still don't have it and haven't heard boo from Vision. The moral of this long review is Don't Use Vision Solar!!!! read more

BE CAREFUL!!! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!! I would not be giving a rating if it were not for the quality assurance person who berated me and swore at me for asking to cancel the contract. literally yelling and swearing at me for suggesting that the concierge department was not following up with me on the status of the project making excuses for why they haven't been able to do the work. We were told that they would be in contact with us throughout the process by the sales rep and the first call from the "assigned concierge". They also made multiple promises that they never kept. After 6 months of no work being completed at all not even a permit pulled, I am attempting to cancel with them. The finance company had no problem with the cancellation. But the company is saying the contract says there is a 10% cancellation fee that has to be paid within 7 days. It would seem that is their business model. Give no service until people get frustrated and bailout of their contracts to charge them the 10% fee. In my case, I never signed a contract. The salesman asked me for a code that was texted to my phone and signed my name on his phone. read more

***WARNING*** DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! THEY ARE NOT TRUTHFUL WITH THEIR SALES PITCH AND I ASKED THE SAM (THE SALES AGENT) SEVERAL TIMES IF MY CREDIT WOULD BE PULLED AND SHE SAID NO, HOWEVER, IT WAS PULLED!! When Sam and i started going over the cost of the solar panels i was originally quoted $34k, she made it seem that the $34k was the price AFTER the government incentives were applied. i said i would think about the deal and before she left she wanted to call her boss. when the boss came on to the line he made it seem like i was getting a deal by dropping the price down to $25k. he said that he would rather take a loss on this deal and get the marketing/referrals in the future. in reality the boss (Brian i believe) didn't give me any deal at all. turns out the retail price BEFORE any incentives are applied is truly the $34k and AFTER the incentives are applied THEN the price will be $25k ( you get a 26% discount from the government for going solar). so where is the deal that Brian gave me? the government incentive isn't a deal from the solar company, i am obligated to the discount no matter which company i go with? on top of that they pressured me into agreeing with the deal because it was a "first visit deal" but again it wasn't. they just threw on the government incentive and made it seem like they were helping me out, taking a loss, etc. then Sam the next day started texting me a totally different story than i was told in person (more lies). i'm 26 years old and have a sales back ground, if they were able to fool me then i can only imagine how many other older people or people who just don't know better that they take advantage of.. long story short don't trust them and never sign up for anything on the spot like i did, if they are pressuring you into a sale then its not meant to be! if i do end up going solar in the future i will most like look into Tesla first. read more

I cannot even explain how disgusted I am with the entire operation at Vision. I actually believe they are a scam operation. do not ever use them. They are beyond unprofessional in all ways. Pay attention the the reviews with one star. I am quite sure the ones with 4 or 5 stars are planted by the company. I entered into a contract with Vision Solar to install solar panels on July 28, 2022. Full payment was made via an Addition Financial loan in the amount of 50,589.00 on September 15, 2022. I have made payments each month in the amount of $160.84 to Additional Financial to pay for the financing of the project. However, after installation of the solar panels in December 2021, there's been no forward movement getting the permits approved by Miami-Dade County, panels inspected and approved, nor the bidirectional meter installed by Florida Power and Light. Taking over a year from signing a contract and making full payment to getting services delivered is fraudulent and I demand a refund of every payment I've made to the finance company until I receive the benefit promised by the company. I also demand speedy deliver of paid for services or I will contact legal representation to cancel everything with Vision Solar and Addition Financial. read more

I have had nothing but issues since day one with this company. They had a great salesperson, but that is all I can say positive about the company. I waited 4 months until the install started. It took about a month to install because there was no communication between the teams. The pm and installers were nice, but couldn't complete the job because they were not provided correct information on my property and had to come back with the right equipment (a month later). I was never informed when they would come back, they just showed up. When it was time for inspection their team member just showed up one day. No call, no notice. The person was so new he didn't even know how to take off the electrical panel. Regardless we failed electrical inspection. Still no idea when the new inspection is scheduled for. I have a panel that has to be replaced, still not addressed. At this point I just want them to come and remove what they have done. Unfortunately, I just get the run around over the phone and I have completely lost all faith in the company. I would love to speak to someone in charge there. I plan on reaching out to the VP's and the better business bureau. read more

thought this company was good when they were the only company to offer to remove two trees that were covering our roof to get solar. this is were it goes down hill, the sales person left saying they would submit the contracts asap. well 6 months later they were finally submitted. then got inspections pretty quickly but there is a fault in the system and via their monitoring system they don't even look at never saw it faulted or cared to fix. i call and they want me to just go out side and flip it off and on and hope it fixes it. lol I'm not certified to work on solar and had to argue that fact just to get a certified tech to come out and diagnose the system and fix it. lol these phone jockeys no offence but don't speak to them get a manager 1st. if you are able never ever go with vision solar!! please for the love of god do not use them ever!!! also the tree company they used smashed my fence and my car and didn't bother to come tell me, but at lest covered cost of repairs. read more
