First time coming here with my youngest son to get our annual check up. We just recently moved from Hawaii and we were looking for a place nearby that takes VSP insurance and my wife found this place. We checked in and got seen within 5mins. Dr. Lauer who I was told, was here forever and everyone that we dealt with are super friendly and made this visit comfortable. After we got our prescription, we went next door where we met with Amanda (I really hope that's her name lol). She was super friendly, patient, and informational. We're normally used to getting the Oakley brand, but they don't carry the brand. They do have a huge selection of choices and name brands for both men and females. My son and I chose this our glasses and we didn't have to pay for anything because the VSP insurance is awesome. I definitely recommend coming here. This place is located in the Post Oak Mall across the Casa Olé Mexican restaurant. The parking lot is huge so you shouldn't have any problems. read more

The manager here is an absolute nightmare. After her employee struggled to locate my insurance information, the manager got up and approached me very belligerently and started in with a long winded explanation of the problem, but no solution. When I told her I was done wasting time and was going to leave and go to a competitor, she yelled at me and threatened to have security come get me. The manager told me I was "very rude," but I had been very patient and friendly with her employee.The only rude person there was the manager. I would never, under any circumstances do business with this place - I've never had good luck with Visionworks customer service (try calling their 1-800 number and see if anyone ever answers) and their manager doesn't belong anywhere near customers. AVOID THIS PLACE OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES. (You have plenty of other options - and they actually are nice to you!) read more

The current eye doctor's staff in association with Vision works has very poor customer service. I was yelled at twice and ignored for 10 minutes. Stacey and Destiny could really use customer service training. When I told them I would stop referring to them . Stacey stated "we can handle the loss". read more

Both my wife and I have used VisonWorks at the Post Oak Mall since they opened.  We have been consistently impressed with their service. We have had a total of probably 10 different pairs of glasses made there, with varying prescriptions, lens styles, and options but have been consistently impressed and pleased with the results.  General Manager, Patricia Barker could not be more helpful and all the staff have consistently been knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and professional.   The glass cleaning kits sold at VisionWorks are second to none!  In the two instances when my glasses broke, under warranty, they were rapidly replaced without questions or hassles. What I love most about the place, is I feel like a valued customer.  I stop by there on a regular basis just to have my glasses looked at, screws tightened, cleaned, etc.  These services are always performed rapidly, professionally, with a smile, and for free!  I'll keep going back and encourage others to do the same! read more

EDIT: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I got a pair of glasses and ended up deciding the next day that they just weren't what I wanted. So, I went in and exchanged for another pair. This was the easiest exchange I have ever done in my life. Now, I went in on my lunch break so I was in a HUGE rush and asked if I could have my glasses done sooner and they gave them to me 5 minutes later. SUCH great customer service. The ladies here were SUPER helpful and willing to answer any and all of my questions. It was a little busy in there, but they handled it with grace. read more

I went in to get the promotional deal of two pairs of glasses for $49 and they helped ship my frames to Oklahoma, where I live, so I could get the ones I wanted. The girl that I worked with, kassie, was completely rude. As far as I could see, she was the only one up front and she never acknowledged that I walked into the store, I had to ask for her help, and even then she brushed me off. When she finally was helping me buy some glasses, she went through everything extremely fast told me a price without asking what I would want. She really didn't seem like she wanted to work there, that she would rather be anywhere else. She was totally unprofessional by all means. The selection of glasses was decent but I couldn't really find something that fit me because no one would help. read more

TWELVE MINUTES ON HOLD! TWELVE. MINUTES. I called to confirm that both pairs of spectacles were ready. It's a 100 mile round trip and I'm not going to rely solely on the Charming little text message only to find out I have to come back another time for the other pair which supposedly wasn't going to be ready for another week and a half. Twelve. Minutes. I'd still be on hold if I hadn't hung up and called back! Spend the better part of $500 at a joint and you expect better service. I learned my lesson! 2 experiences with lousy service in two years is enough. They're too many other providers who can do the job right the first time. I must say, I am not especially overburdened with confidence that everything will go smoothly this morning when I go to pick them up. Avoid this place, there is another Optical Shop in the same Mall just a couple of minutes easy walk away where I will be doing my business in the future. Probably they managed to do it right the first time every time. Sure wish I had shopped there! 2016 visit My experience was fraught with frustration; somehow or other in three weeks they managed to not send my order in & not know that they hadn't sent my order in. Visionworks is my go-to place for eyewear for about 6 years now. The staff is professional, extremely helpful and patient in helping me select attractive frames that compliment my hair and features. I have a difficult prescription with prisms, etc. and the lenses are always perfect for my eyesight. The frequent 50% and 60% sales make getting quality eyewear affordable for us gals who often change our hair color or style and want a new fashion statement. The staff were great, my husband got his eye exam, went next door to pick out his new glasses. The lady helped him pick out frames for glasses and sunglasses that complimented his face so nicely. Then his glasses weren't due to come in for 10 days but he got a text the following week that his glasses in were and ready for pick up. I would reccommend them to anyone looking for glasses with great service. read more

This store is fabulous. We just got my daughter (age 8) two new pairs of glasses. The employees were super sweet and helped her pick out frames she adores. When we discussed lease options they shared with us the new transition lense option that work in the car. They made sure I got the best deal possible using our insurance. We got her glasses within a week and they called to let us know they had come in early. The manager also helped my daughter get a bright colored case so she wouldn't lose it like her previous ones. Three out of four family members wear glasses and we always come here to get them because the service can't be beat. Keep up the good work. read more
