My son sits very still in the barber chair without a phone; his dad has been getting his hair cut In a shop since he was 2yrs old. The barber appeared to be struggling with my sons curly tresses. He left him with a crooked deep part. The other barbers appeared to know what they were doing but unfortunately my son was in this chair. After 45 minutes of waiting, the barber called me over to see the work I said " the part is crooked" he spent another 10 minutes attempting to "fix it" he then tells me "his hair is going different directions. If any tag-alongs are with someone getting their hair cut, you can do some work at the bar or on the comfy couches. They also sell the products they use so my boyfriend got a tea tree shaping cream. Looks and smells great hahaha. PARKING: They have a shared lot with a TON of spots. There is also ample street parking on Braddock and metered parking on Overland. After looking at the reviews on both google and yelp, I decided to get a haircut here. This was my first time here since I usually go to a different barbershop which is $60 and this place was only $40, so I was feeling optimistic that I found a cheaper, good quality nearby barbershop. I was able to make a same day appointment, parking was easy (they have a lot), and the barber was friendly. I got my haircut from T Rod and I showed them a photo of the style I wanted beforehand; they totally botched it. I've grown my hair for a while and wanted to maintain the mid-size length on the top part and now it's extremely short and thin. For $40, a clear photo of the style you want should be of decent quality and at least match closely to the length on the photo. Maybe i was unlucky with the barber who cut my hair, but Im not sure if I'll be coming back here. If I do it'll definitely not be with that same barber. read more

Just before my arrival Ed took a walk-in customer and said it would be 10-15 minutes and asked me to wait in the car. 33-minutes later he finally called me and said he is ready, I was too angry at this point and left as I had to pick up my wife (who's hairdresser kindly was running on-time). This is unacceptable from a business who had an appointment reserved in advance, and considering it was only the second appointment of the day! The only reason they got 2-stars is that the owner was nice enough to text me later and say that he would cut my hair for free to make it up to me. I've been getting my haircut here since they opened, I have tried many barber shops due to the fact I couldn't find a solid one til these guys opened up. Cesar is great, this guy can make your average Joe look like sexy hunk with his haircutting skills. I am very insecure due to the fact my hair line looks like a melted ice cream bar, Cesar is always able to fix it with a nice crisp line up & fade.
